Best Thai food ever. If you're ever in the area stop and try it out. Eggs rolls are perfect and the food is always home made.

I took my dad here for Father's Day because he loves Thai food. Since there are only two Thai restaurants in Cloverdale, we chose this one because we've eaten here before and had really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, this visit was a completely different experience. When we arrived, there was only one occupied table with four customers. A woman greeted us, and later we realized she was essentially running the entire front of the restaurant by herself, with only the dishwasher helping as a waiter. While I understand staffing challenges happen, the lack of service was obvious. We waited quite a while before our order was taken. When the server finally came to our table, she informed us that dishes with beef and shrimp would cost extra because those ingredients were expensive. After ordering, we waited more than 30 minutes for our food despite the restaurant not being busy. The biggest disappointment was my son's favorite dish, Pad See Ew. The plate arrived cold, contained very few noodles, and cost over $22. The rest of the food was mediocre at best and nowhere near the quality we remembered from previous visits. The server appeared overwhelmed, constantly rushing between tables, phone orders, and incoming customers. At one point, customers even walked out because they weren't being helped. To make matters worse, we were charged an additional fee for using a credit card. Overall, we paid premium prices for poor service and disappointing food. This was supposed to be a special Father's Day meal, but it ended up being a frustrating experience. Sadly, we won't be returning. read more

I called to order and they didn't answer. The good news is they called me right back and I ordered. We got Pinapple Fried rice, and Peanut Butter lovers Curry. Both were amazing! The fried rice is a giant portion with chicken, prawns, veggies and pineapple. Super delicious! The peanut butter curry was also terrific. DO.NOT.EAT.HERE!! We JUST left. Our bill was $85 for our food. She up-charged us to $99 then $3+ for credit card and 10ish tax and $10 tip .. I walked outside because I was not feeling well. My daughter asked for itemized receipt. She refused to show her. She paid & came to the car because she knew I felt ill from the heat in there. I had to go back in and then waitress pulled out the itemized tag and I saw that she charged us $16 instead of $12 for potstickers. I showed her where it said $12 on the menu and she said no those aren't the same potstickers. I asked her to show me where it said $16. She charged extra for pork when she said it was free. She would only give me $5.50 back instead of $14. She is a real con artist with her comebacks. She only agreed to give me a little bit of money back when I told her I was gonna give a bad review and She should have made it right and giving me at least $16 back. She says company charges fees and tip is hers but pretty sure she is owner. Food was ok but small portions for the price. Skip them and eat across the street at Thai Spice. They have great portions, Bento Boxes, sushi and yummy Tom Yom soup and no crooked waitress/owner. Horrible way to rip off customer on Independence Weekend!! read more

The restaurant is a hole in the wall, shares the parking area w the gas station. I was skeptical but all the review raving about the place was not wrong. Fried tofu was perfect toasted, firecracker shrimp was so delicious! And the veggies it laid on amazing. We also ordered a seafood plate and chicken basil. Everything was perfectly cooked. This spot is a nice little find for Thai food in the area. The vegan options are clearly marked (no fish sauce or hidden meat products), which is super appreciated. The food itself wasn't the best Thai we've ever had, but still tasty and satisfying. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe is more of a casual hole-in-the-wall type of place. Bring cash! An extra fee is charged for using a card. My tofu summer roll bill came out to $16 and some change (they were $10 on the menu on yelp). They have posted that they charge 3% for using a credit card, but that still shouldn't have accounted for it being that expensive unless their prices are different than the menu on yelp. And I still wanted to tip so these rolls ended up being pretty pricey... On the bright side, they were delicious. I don't often love peanut sauces from restaurants but 101 Thai Way's peanut sauce was just right! Very flavorful, a curry vibe, but not overly sweet. read more

Last time I was cycling in Cloverdale I dined at this restaurant and remember how fabulous it was. Although it's tucked next to a gas station, don't let that fool you. The service is quite friendly as well as efficient. It was hard to choose what to order as everything on the menu sounded so good. We started with a Thai Ice Tea & Thai Iced Coffee- both super great. I ordered the crispy tofu with vegetables and peanut sauce- absolutely delicious. My friend had the Pumpkin Curry which was yummy- only complaint is the sauce was on the liquidy (thin) side. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I plan to return next time I find myself in Cloverdale. read more

My family stopped here for lunch as we were on a road trip. The food was amazingly good. My 3yr old had a taste of everything. She loved the pumpkin curry, yellow curry, pad se ew, and the mango sticky rice. She kept asking for more. At one point, she pointed to the owner and just stared very intensely at her. I asked her why she was pointing at her and my daughter said "She is a very good cooker." My daughter has never said anything like that before. I agree, she IS a very good cook! read more

As we are heading to hidden valley campgrounds we decided to stop here for lunch. Cute small restaurant and ordered the fried crab wonton, fresh tofu spring rolls, and chicken wings. The wontons were a bit smaller than expected but they made up for that with the quantity. Also came with a sweet fish sauce dip. Tasted pretty good. The tofu spring rolls came sliced up for you with a yummy peanut butter sauce. The rolls were just ok. Because they were sliced up for you everything fell out of them when you dipped it in the sauce. It got a bit messy. The wings came drenched in a sauce that was tasty but personally I don't like it when it's drowning. And the wings were small, maybe organic? Overall, not a bad place for a quick bite to eat. read more

Even my family who visit from Daly City, CA (where they have many Thai restaurants from the which to choose) agree. It's a very friendly family-owned and family-run business. One of the best, if not THE best Thai food in Sonoma County. Very small "hole-in-the-wall" type place behind a gas station and a Starbucks so you wouldn't expect too much. We're staying at a campground and wife says that she "has a hankering for Thai". So I open up Yelp to see what's around. Just down the road from us was Thai Way 101. Because of the good reviews we decide to go. There is sit down dining available, which is what we wanted. I order the chicken drunkin noodles and wife gets the garlic chicken. The food came out quickly and it hit the spot. The noodles were cooked in a delicious, slightly spicy, sauce with lots of crispy veggies. The garlic chicken had very good flavor and not over powering. $30 plus tip got us out of the door at a reasonable price. Good food from friendly staff in a very small location. read more

On our way to Mendocino stopped here for dinner. The rating and reviews were great; without hesitation we decided to try this place. Small Thai place, not many indoor seating, but do have outdoor dining. Welcomed by the two staffs there. They were very nice to us and made sure we are comfortable. This place has a nice ambience, very neat and well maintained. Chef came out to take our order. We ordered the Classic Thai Fried Rice - Chicken, Spicy Fried Rice - Tofu and Japanese Eggplant - Chicken with steamed rice. We requested for the medium spice level. She just memorized the order and walked away. We were a little worried that whether we are going to get the food we ordered or not. When the food arrived, all those worries went away. The order was spot on. Classic Thai Fried rice was kind of plain in taste, but with the sauces it was really good. Spicy fried rice wasn't spicy for us because we opted for medium spicy and the chef suggested to try their hot sauces along with it to adjust the spice level. The best among the order was Japanese eggplant. Totally loved it. They haven't used much soy sauce in their food and that made a big difference in taste. Absolutely loved and enjoyed the service there. May that be the chef or the other lady who was assisting her. And the food, delicious! Really enjoyed it.
