Dropped in for a late** lunch after getting off the SMART train Polite and welcoming service, we didn't feel rushed at all. Food still as good as I remember from the last time (measured in years). Get some shrimp spring rolls to start off -- a great setup for the main course ** The restaurant closes between 3 and 5, so don't push the "late lunch " thing too far

This is such a gem and Town Green OG. It a small cozy restaurant with friendly service. Everything that we ordered was delicious. The fried rice and pad see ew had good wok hey! The green and red curry were also very good with depth and layering to the flavor. I would recommend calling to make reservations to make sure you get a seat! They have a parking lot but it does get busy since they put in the smart train.

This will always be the best restaurant in Windsor California and probably in the world. The Choo Chee Salmon will change your life!!!! Also I could drink the peanut dressing it's so amazing!

This was my first time at Tomi Thai. We came as a party of 3 on a Friday night. It was busy but we were able to be seated at a table as we walked in. The staff were all very friendly and had smiles on their faces when we walked in. Our server was excellent! We received speedy service which was professional and friendly as well. We ate "family style" and ordered multiple entrees to split amongst the three of us. We tried the Goong Gaborg, Chicken Pad Thai, Shrimp Pad See Yew, Honey Duck, and Yellow Curry. Everything was amazing, nothing but good things to say about it all. My favorites were the Goong Gaborg and the Shrimp Pad See Yew -- seafood is my favorite. Everything was cooked to perfection, amazing flavors, and good texture. Can't wait to come back for some more Thai food!

Perfect portion for the lunch special.

We needed "refueling" between wineries and appreciated the referral to Tomi Thai Restaurant. (Thank you goes to Evan, our wine specialist at Rodney Strong Vineyards.) While Tomi is small in size, it did not feel crowded. Very welcoming atmosphere and gracious service. DH enjoyed his Drunken Noodles and perhaps ate more than he should have. I had the Cashew Chicken Rice Plate. Plated beautifully. The small salad was fresh and flavorful with a lovely dressing. Generous portions of both the cashew chicken and rice. I was not able to finish my meal and sadly could not take it with me. (It was a very hot September day, and we were not returning to our hotel for several hours. While we are rarely in Windsor, we will keep Tomi Thai on our list of top spots. We will return next time we are in the area for our wine ventures.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend so I happened to be in the area and wanted to try it out. My daughter and I ordered the Pad Thai, it was flavorful and the Gai Yaang which was cooked in coconut milk and curry with the grilled chicken, it was tender and lightly creamy. Both dishes were delicious.

Third time is a charm! We don't get over to Windsor too often but every time we've tried to eat here, it has been closed due to us stopping by on a weekend or the staff being away on a family vacation... but it was worth the wait! It's a cozy place with about 8 tables plus seating at the counter. We arrived around 1:00 pm and people were leaving thanking the owners for a nice meal so we were the second round of diners. Our server was very pleasant and sweet. We ordered the pad see ew with chicken and pad thai with chicken and tofu. Both dishes were really tasty. Flavors were perfect and satisfying. I ordered my pad see ew medium spicy and it was lovely! We were happy to see that the restaurant was doing great lunch business for a Tuesday. Diners continued to come through the door after we were seated. The servers were friendly and attentive, they refilled our waters and we were entertained by a darling girl next to us trying to eat with chopsticks. All the dishes that I saw at other tables looked delicious so we will be back. There is parking lot just outside the restaurant door, shared with other businesses, or 3-hour street parking. Open only M-F.

This is the glass they brought my check in. It was so dirty it was shocking.

I went there because I had a couple errands in Windsor. So I searched for Asian restaurants because I hadn't eaten all day. I went just before close at lunch. Upon entering I was asked something like what could they do for me to which I replied I was there to eat. I'm often surprised to be asked this. I fully entered the restaurant, didn't stop at the front or the bar showing I was there for lunch. I guess it's a pet peeve of mine. So we got off on the wrong foot right at the beginning. I needed to use the restroom to wash my hands and said I was going to the ladies room I'd be right back. When I walked down a very long hallway where the restroom is apparently shared with multiple businesses I discovered you need a key to get into the restroom. The server didn't offer this info or a key. Luckily another patron from another business came from the opposite direction so I was able to enter the restroom after all. Then I asked a couple questions about their Pad Thai because I'd been to Thailand and prefer a certain style. I determined I best try the Drunken Noodle. I wouldn't call it traditional by any means though the write up from the owners said it was traditional Thai food (home style). I was surprised how people raved about the food on their reviews. Maybe it was an off day for them or me. But I found little appreciation for pretty much all the things that transpired. When she brought the check she put it in a filthy glass hence the pic. And the cost was $19 plus change for the one dish. So I put in a $20 and a $5 as I had no ones. When she brought my change she left my $5 in the dirty glass. I was tempted not to leave a tip as this felt like the last straw. Instead I walked to the bar on the way out and asked for change so I could tip. I've never not left a tip but really didn't want to leave a tip. But I left $3 and some change from the $20 that was in the glass. There wasn't much that I could say I felt welcomed by the staff. I love mom and pop places or any family businesses and lean towards supporting local family businesses. Most likely I'm not planning to return. But I say go and give them a try. They might be friendlier and more helpful with you and they are a local family business. The thing is I really like to give good and even great reviews. I live for saying kind things about people, places and things, especially writing good reviews. With that being said I do expect a modicum of decency from anyplace I choose to spend my money.

She was unapologetically and blatantly rude and cold, and nice only to the white guests in the restaurant. Pressured us to order within two minutes of when we arrived. No niceties or pleasantries. Food was dropped on our table without a word and without any regard. The fried rice was a soggy mess with more chicken than rice. We asked the younger server for extra rice showing her how little rice the fried rice actually had. She said "well that's because you ate it". !! Then she got a small bowl of white rice but charged us for it later. The entire time that we were in the restaurant, we could not think of anything else to talk about because of the extremely unwelcome vibe from both the servers (I think they also own or manage the restaurant). The saving grace was that they reminded us of our shopping bag that we forgot at the restaurant. I feel sorry for both the women - they must be really dissatisfied with their lives to treat customers this badly, without any provocation. Unfortunately many customers have experienced the same treatment, as seen in the other reviews. Towards the end of the meal I had this conversation with the older woman server, almost verbatim: Me: You don't like Indian people? She: Some of them. It depends on the person. Me: We felt extremely unwelcome since the moment we walked in. She: Okay

The waiter was knowledgeable about gluten-free options and very accommodating. We came here when Harbin Hot Springs cafe was unexpectedly closed and what a gem to find. We ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer, and Pad Thai and the Tom Kha soup for main courses. Service was great & attentive. The spring rolls were delicious and very fresh ingredients. I would definitely order again. While the soup was also good, it was sweeter than I'm accustomed to, almost as if they added a touch of sugar. If you are familiar with the dish it is a light coconut broth with lime, lots of veggies, and topped with fresh cilantro. It is normal slightly sweet from the coconut milk, but this was an exaggerated sweetness, which is why I believe they may have added sugar. If you like it super sweet, you may enjoy it. The pad Thai was great. If I come again I'll probably try the Pad See Ew, the spring rolls, and the mango sticky rice.

First the good part- it's my first time at SEA Thai Bistro. We liked the location, ambience, our server - PK. PK was helpful and hospitable also humorous so fun to interact with. We informed PK we would like to order vegetarian and he was nice enough to suggest what mains can be ordered/altered to make vegetarian (without any fish or fish paste added). With limited choice being there, we ordered Tofu Drunken Noodles, Chicken Cashew (chicken substituted by Tofu) with Jasmine Rice and a few chilled Simba (& Simba refills). The other part was - the staff member at the right side of the door. She looked hassled throughout; right from the time we walked in and exited. We told her we did not make a reservation and are two of us so is a booth available, she was reluctant and still made us sit at the smaller table for two (while most of the indoor tables and booths were still free). No problem, maybe she had been having a bad day. Similar hassled attitude observed at the time of leaving; leaves one with not a great taste ! So, while we would likely choose to come back for the food and else that felt good; hoping we don't have to meet or be greeted by that same employee and her inhospitable attitude.

We ordered the Pun Khao Poon platter (lettuce wraps) with pork springrolls, pad thai with chicken, and the mango salad. The portions were very generous. The mango salad was the highlight of the meal, followed by the lettuce wraps. The dressing in the mango salad had just the right combination of sweet and tangy. We loved the addition of mint for the wraps, but I personally don't care for perilla leaves. The fish sauce accompanying the wraps was delicious and was also great over the pad thai, which was a bit on the bland side without it. Service was a bit less than perfect. When one diner asked for water, only her glass was refilled when another glass was obviously in need also; minor overlook, though. The one thing that was a bit disturbing was the noise level. It was extremely loud, so it was really difficult to hear each other talk. It didn't help that the party at the next table had a woman who cackled loudly when she laughed. It was a relief to step outside after we ate. Not sure what can be done to help with this, but it did make dining there not as pleasant as it could be. Even with this, I'd definitely return if I was in the area.
