Great food! Thai Spice never disappoints! It's our go-to for comfort food and a great value.

When we received the food it was spilt all over the bag and it looked soooo unappetizing. Plus it tasted horrible

Thai food seem to differ ever so slightly between restaurants. In my experience every single one has something unique to offer that keeps you coming back. There are 5 levels of heat. We ordered Spicy Egg Plant Basil (Level 5), Drunken Noodles (Level 2), and Garlic Wings. When I mentioned level 5, our waitress (possibly owner) jokingly said I would cry. That got me worried at first, but I was able tolerate it. Excellent dishes all across. Also, they have draft beer. Winner! At Thai Spice, the food itself is an enough reason to return. However, their customers service is top notch and this place is all about cleanliness and it is obvious. It's a great feeling doing business with great folks.

Food here is Good. They have lots of room for people who have a big group. They know their spices and how to make a delicious dish. Stopped on my way back from S.F. and it was worth it. If you never tried Thai food check them out in Cloverdale.

I ordered 1 plate Shrimp tempura (5 pieces) one bowl of chicken red curry and ordered 2 plates of rice separately and one plate of Thai chicken fried rice. I came here with my husband along with my daughter for lunch. One bowl of red curry was more than enough for two people as after our meal was done a-lot was left so I had to box them even the gravy I had to box it. They served our food within 3-4 minutes it was very fast as well as super delicious. Best part which I liked about this restaurant is the people were very welcoming and had smiles on their face. The ambiance was very pleasant there were very light music inside the restaurant which was also a very feel good atmosphere. The restroom was also very clean.

My kids loved it. My daughter ate mostly mushrooms and shrimp. My son ate chicken, mushrooms and rice. I haven't seen them eat so much in a few days since we started traveling. Service was great. They didn't mind my daughter dancing all around the restaurant and my son screaming for more food. Nice and quiet on a Sunday early afternoon noon.

We weren't…read moreexpecting much but this place might actually be one of my favorite Thai restaurants I've been to in California. We got the pad thai with chicken and green curry with chicken and a side of brown rice. The brown rice was the fun kind with that great texture, super yummy with the green curry. Green curry was super flavorful and packed with veggies and chicken. Thai tea with coconut milk was a little sweet for me but still very very flavorful. Don't skip this place on your next Mendocino County weekend getaway :)

The place was surprisingly busy for what we thought would be a quick, early dinner. Nearly all tables (maybe there are 15?) were full, and as the night went on: they all filled up. Problem #1 was there was only one waiter to work the entire front of the house. He was greeting and seating people, waiting on all the tables, taking take out orders over the phone and manning the cash register for the endless stream of takeout pickups. There was a second woman who was bussing tables and handing out menus, but not doing much else we could see and contributing nothing to expedite anything. It took 30 minutes before we were asked to order. Then when we did, we were told they were out of three of the 5 items wanted on the menu. How does a Thai restaurant run out of Pad Thai at 5:30? No more house salad? And then to top it off, we ordered two different beers, and when he brought them back 10 minutes later, we find out that one of the varieties we ordered was also out. Would we like something else? But our menus were taken so I'll just have what she's having, I guess. Giving 2 stars as the food was edible (nothing mind-blowing) and we did eventually eat. Getting the check paid was another ordeal of hunting down someone to help. It should not take 90 minutes for two people to each get served an entree and a beer, but on this night it did.

Service has been gracious with us each time and provided helpful suggestions when needed. Highlights for us is usually the lemongrass chicken. Definitely on point and the light sweetness from the sweet and sour is great. The crust is always nice and crunchy, and we've found it is easy leftovers with an air fryer. We also got the green curry to try something different and the pad thai for something the same. The pad thai is still a solid choice as everything mixes well. The green curry was great for a vegetarian dish. Probably our favorite part for it was the purple sweet potato which just melted with the sauce.
