The service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Overall, a great experience and one we'd definitely recommend if you're in the area.

I was hoping they had mole but they didn't, which might have been too carby anyway. I was pleased to see that the menudo didn't have corn in it making it something I can have. The menudo was excellent, they don't skimp on the tripe and it tasted great, especially with the chili oil at end of the buffet. The Birria was also very good and I had to try the nopales con huevos which was okay. I wish I could have the tortillas that are made in site, my wife loved them enough to wrap a few up to take home. However had I not been writing a Yelp review I would have just had more menudo instead. It's just that good. I suppose one thing to know is about the long communal tables. We were there both times at lunch, so didn't go heavy BBQ (then again, we were in CA, so it's tough to find anything HEAVY! It was fresh and delicious, though -- no complaints!). I had two different salads when I was there -- the rib salad (HOLY RIBS BATMAN) and the Cobb salad (I dare you to find a bad avocado in the state of California). They were both fresh and delicious -- and even though the ribs were amazing, I think I liked the Cobb salad better of the two. My friend got the burger one day and the BLTA the other (see above re: excellent avocados state-wide, and Sweet T's was no exception). One of the two days, we were hankering for dessert as well -- and we hankered ourselves a slice of Key Lime Pie, which was a super smart choice, especially after eating such savory dishes both days. Cannot wait to return to Windsor to see my friend -- and when I do, we will definitely be back to Sweet T's!
