    Fried chicken sliders

What a great spot for a date night and a yummy meal! My boyfriend and I made reservations for a Monday night and it didn't seem too busy, but several tables were still filled. The ambience felt classy but comfortable. Service was excellent. To start, we ordered the fried chicken sliders. These were a nice size for an appetizer and came out hot and fresh! The crisp and the flavor were pretty textbook for a fried chicken sandwich, and the sauce was tangy and tasty. I ordered the blackened catfish which came with collard greens and mac and cheese. The catfish was flavorful and the sides were pretty good as well. My boyfriend ordered the 3-way smoker combo with ribs, sausage, and pulled chicken (they were sold out of pulled pork). For the two sides he got potato salad and grits, which were both quite yummy. The meats were all pretty tender, though I do wish they had a little more flavor/spice themselves; I suppose they were meant to be dipped/covered in sauce. The biscuit that came with the smoker combo was also great! For dessert we ordered the sweet potato bread pudding, which our server told us would take about 15 minutes in the oven. I appreciated the time to rest and digest, because this dessert might have been the highlight of the whole meal! The warmth of the bread pudding was worth the wait and paired really nicely with the ice cream and caramel drizzle. I would definitely come back for that dessert, and probably to try some of the other menu items as well!

Driving up from San Jose with some friends and we decided to introduce them to Sweet T's. A wonderful meal again with awesome and attentive service. Some new items like the tender and juicy brisket and potato salad were delicious. But we had some old favorites like the fried chicken, pork Spareribs, and fried okra.

I used to really enjoy coming to Sweet T's, but over the last year I feel the quality and service seem to have taken a dip. I've been twice recently and both visits left me disappointed. The beef brisket was overly salty, the tri-tip came out cold and our nachos barely had any meat on them. The food just wasn't as flavorful or fresh as I remember and the service felt very slow and inattentive. It's still a decent spot, but not quite what it used to be. I'm hoping they can get back to the level that made it a favorite. 3/10.

Ate here the other day and everything was wonderful, i oove they have smaller versions of the BBQ available on the starter menu because somtimes you just want a little bit of something in addition to your other food. My dog is always welcome on the patio and he is also a big fan of the BBQ.

Our friend wanted to celebrate his birthday here. Our first time and birthday boy's second time. We had reservations for 1:00 and their automated system works great. They send a confirmation text as soon as you make the reservations. They are located at the end of a shopping center. It was a bustling place when we stepped inside. People checking in and others picking up their to-go orders. The tables looked pretty full and the ambiance was lively. They sat us next to a large party and near the door that leads to their patio dining. I was happy to sit by the door as it brought in some cooler air whenever the door opened. I thought it was a bit on the warmer side inside the restaurant. We were very fortunate to have Karen as our server. She was funny, friendly and personable. Servers must work together because someone else brought us our food and another refilled our waters. We decided on: Rib salad Fried catfish plate BBQ brisket sandwich Brisket chili Potato salad I give them a 10/10 for their fries. They are thin, crispy and perfect. My brisket sandwich was okay, better with the bbq sauce. I chose to have it with the burger fixins' which was a nice accompaniment to the brisket (lettuce, pickle and tomato instead of coleslaw). My husband enjoyed my leftovers the next day. Our friend devoured his catfish plate. He had subbed sautéed veggies and avocado for the fries and coleslaw and he inhaled every bite. My hubby enjoyed his rib meat salad, chili and potato salad. He ate everything too. I saw others ordering their fried chicken plate and it looked delicious but some comments I had read discouraged me from ordering it. Perhaps next time. The interior is big enough to accommodate large parties. They have nice patio seating as well. Employees work hard to bus tables, sweep up when necessary and I was impressed that they wipe down the seats too. Everything looked clean and tidy afterwards. Nice job!

Looking for a nearby dinner spot and this menu looked good. Place was packed but I can't imagine why. We were "lucky" to get a table but hindsight I wished we hadn't. Service was okay, not terribly friendly or fast, but okay. The food was simply not good. I never imagined there would be a time that not only me, but my friend as well, would not eat a deviled egg. In fact we ordered a large portion because we enjoy them so much. Completely inedible and I've had creamy to not as well mixed, heavy mustard, added ingredients - I'll still eat them even if they aren't the best ones because they have always still been good enough to eat. I expected the waiter to ask when we didn't eat but 2 and didn't want to take them. Like maybe ask why if we didn't like them but clearly they don't care. Nachos were just as bad. You can't just dump a bunch of terrible BBQ sauce on top and think that's good. So we didn't really eat too much because it was awful food. Would tell anyone to stay away from here. Seemed like about the only restaurant around and you can tell by the attitudes, service, and awful food.

Something for everyone with an emphasis on comfort food. Friendly staff. Modern, clean facilities. Recommend their Bloody Mary, Mac and cheese, and crispy chicken salad. Their wings are just okay. Recommend ordering them extra crispy.

    2-Way Smoker Combo

It's been a few years since I've been here, and in the best way, things haven't changed. Apps: BBQ nachos with brisket. The jalapenos are a mild spicy, and combined with the cheese, brisket, and great chip crunch, this dish would be the hit of the night at any other restaurant. The Caesar salad was refreshing too, with fresh croutons and a light coating of house-made dressing. Meal: I ordered the two-way smoker combo with pork ribs and tri tip, and my dad ordered the gumbo. The ribs were fall-off the bone. Also shoutout to the mac and cheese for a great balance of richness and character (I'm a cheese guy too and picky with mac and cheese) and roasted vegetables that had a great char. Food quality, freshness, and taste is a big part of what brings us back every time my family is in the area (often our schedule revolves around Sweet T's). Service was extremely friendly, attentive, and impressively quick (~5 min per check-in for refills and dirty plate pickups) for a busy restaurant. Ambience is quieter before 5:30 and gets busy by 6, which makes a lot of sense. Highly recommend getting reservations for anything after 5:30 pm. If you're passing through or visiting the area, this is the top place to go- just make sure you're ready to: 1) get lost in the variety of options in the menu, and 2) leave full yet ready to come back the next day.

I took my son to celebrate his 17th birthday at this restaurant. Per his request, the ambiance and atmosphere during the survey were phenomenally fantastic, creating a warm and inviting environment. The food was incredibly delicious; the boys were so satisfied with the appetizer, which is one of our favorite dishes to order--Memphis nachos topped with melted cheese, jalapeños, and savory pulled pork. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, just as we expected, while the catfish was slightly underwhelming in seasoning and texture, but the side dishes, including buttery mashed potatoes and seasoned green beans, definitely made up for it. The waiters were attentive and friendly, recognized that it was his birthday, and went out of their way to wish him a heartfelt happy birthday, adding a special touch to the evening. Thank you, Sweet T's. We had an excellent experience and will definitely be returning soon!

I know I don't even need to write the review because everyone knows Sweet T's is delicious. The problem is how hard it is to get a table because of how good it is! Make a reservation as early as you can! Honestly though their Shishito Peppers appetizer is one of the best I've ever had and I dream about it. Everything on the menu is great, the atmosphere is great, if you haven't been here you're missing out. It is expensive but totally worth it.

The service here is always supurb the food ? Oh forget it! Im on a mission to try every single thing in the menu and as many times as I take the 2 hr drive to get here, I have nearly reached my goal! Usually we stay across the street at the Hampton Inn. I will always make this a priority stop for good reason. Food is simply chef kiss The place is a hipster , swanky place great for groups , pets [please leave dogs home srry not srry] and brush, lunch, dinner

Came here for a b-lated bday dinner on a Saturday night. They only had 7:30 "outdoor" reservations left, so we sat outside. But it's enclosed with glass and heaters, so it's not really like you're sitting outside! This was my mom and her bf's first time coming to Sweet T's. For apps we got the blistered shishito peppers, which were really good! They come with fresh lime squeezed on them (this was a first with the lime for me!) and a nice aioli. We also got the strawberry spinach salad to share, it comes with goat cheese and a nice maple vinaigrette, also very good! For dinner, we got 2 entrees to share. We chose the BBQ plate, we went with 2 orders of the brisket, which was my fav, the brisket is really tender! We also got the tri-tip which was good! For our other entree I insisted on getting the fried chicken-it had been a couple years since I had been here and I thought that was what I really liked and used to get every time I came. But I was wrong, I used to always get their other chicken, the oven roasted chicken (but get it spicy!). The fried chicken was good, but it's the oven roasted chicken that's amazing, in my opinion! You get 2 sides with each entree, so we tried their fried okra, sautéed veges. Cole slaw and their brisket chili! All were yummy! The service was really good!! However, at their very end, it kinda felt like they wanted us to leave. The waitress went on a short break, so the manager was helping out. And once the waitress went on a break, I saw about 5-6 different wait staff keep peaking around the corner at our table, which was a little bit weird! I looked at my watch, this stared at 9pm, so I googled what time they closed and they closed at 9pm. We ended up leaving at 9:30, and there was still tons of tables inside eating! So not really sure why so many ppl were peaking at our table after 9pm? Anyway, all in all the food and the service were really good! They did wish the table HBD, but they didn't offer or bring us a HBD treat, which was fine, since we had NO room left. We went home with tons of leftovers, even though we only got and shared 2 entrees between the 3 of us!

This was my first time here, it was a bit busy though I was able to sit at the bar. Definitely a locals place. It has a modern western vibe. Everyone was nice. The problem with this place is there is so much I wanted to try. Darn, (sarcasm) I'll have to go again. Mind you, even the appetizer portions are large. I started with the deviled eggs. So tasty, and bacon makes everything better. Next I ordered the heirloom tomato and burratta salad. My entree was the fried catfish, which came with collard greens, and Mac n cheese. All of it was amazing.

Hush puppies and crispy Brussels sprout.

I would have loved a much thinner bread for the sandwich or it being panini style. My only pickle about this sandwich was the bread top was too thick and the chicken got lost in the sandwich. A stronger basil flavor in the pesto would have also done the sandwich justice. Overall, seems a good spot for lunch and dinner.

Anyway this was a Sunday, so there you go. So, this is a confusing thing. Is this place for to-go only?--or do they want you to eat here? I'm not sure cause everything points to them wanting to get rid of you, but then they have picnic tables right next to the stand so....????? I mean, first off, when you order they give you a ticket and tell you that you have to pay inside the market. So I do that. Then you're supposed to come back and tell them you've paid and they will "make" your meat (which you can see them grilling in the smokers a dozen feet away.) Then after sitting for 10min or so, they'll call your name and hand you a bag with your meats wrapped tightly in aluminum foil. You can grab utensils and napkins on the side. So we got us some ribs, specifically an uncut slab of ribs, which yeah are easy to peal away with your fingers, but also tri tip... that was NOT SLICED, a half pound chunk of meat. Um..... so...... was this meant to be taken home and prepared?--sure seemed like it... 1. Choice Half Tri Tip $10.99: Yeah, so like I said, this is a chunk of meat that you gotta cut. If you wanna eat it there, good luck cutting it with their cheapo plastic knives. And of course, good luck not cutting through the foil and getting juice all over your lap. But perhaps that's good?--cause yeah, can't get juice on your lap and thigh and crotch without it being.... juicy right? Maybe not perfectly medium-rare, but I'd say it was just about medium to medium-well, which was fine. It wasn't particularly smokey, but I did like the nice crust outside too. Anyway... LUCKILY I had with me my 4" folder (with a beautiful damascus steel blade btw, if you're into that stuff) which was sharper than f, so yeah I got to eat it. 6/10 2. Pork Baby Back Ribs Half Rack $9.99: It was alright. Not really smokey, and maybe could use a bit more cooking to be more tender, but it was fine. Not much better than reheating Costco pre-made ribs in your over, but whatever. (And like I already said, came unsliced.) 5/10 So.... yeah, that's just about it. Some warm BBQ for 'ya if you're too lazy to pop your own in the oven. 3/5 #windsor #americanbbq #bbqtogo #northerncalifornia #middleofnowhere #barbeque
