Carne Asada Pizza
Racheal A.

Went on a friday evening and it wasn't packed at all. I've heard of this place and people raving about it and wanted to see if it was as good as everyone says. It's a very nice looking place in side. I will say I'm not a fan of the tables and the seating. It's basically big tables and chairs to seat but only like a few small tables where a party of 2 or 4 can seat. You'll have to visit the place to see what I'm talking about. The chips and mango salsa that they give you is so good! I got the Carne Asada pizza and my Husband got the Tostada Ceviche. The pizza was so delicious and made in a brick oven that they have. My husband loved his food as well! I was surprised that this place wasn't packed because it's very delicious! I can't wait to try there other food and the Sunday brunch as well. We will for sure be back to try more!

I have been here two times, we are new to the area and were hungry. We went in and ordered tacos, mojaquete, tortas and a couple more plates! Oh my goodness, we were not ready for such amazing food and very huge portions! Delicious Mexican food and drinks!

Dining or pick up. In search of amazing Spanish rice -I found ---Pezcow! The menu offers a variety of traditional dishes that are full of flavor and authenticity. The easy going atmosphere makes it ideal for a quick meal on-the-go or a casual dining experience. Service: welcoming and fast.

I love the food. It was so good, can't wait to come back. We were a party of 8 so we understood that they were super busy making everything fresh. The margaritas were so good, I love to taste the alcohol & hate when I only taste juice. So 10/10 for that too. Service was good because they were so busy with large groups. Over all 10/10. Definitely coming back soon. So happy I had my birthday dinner there.

We both loved discovering this "hidden gem" Mexican restaurant in Windsor. It is located in the Windsor Palms Plaza and is authentically decorated. The ambiance is welcoming and it has a series of long community tables. There were so many amazing options to choose from on their menu so I had a difficult time deciding! I ordered the fish tacos and absolutely loved them! The portions are generous and the food is absolutely amazing! It is very flavorful and came with fresh chips and salsa. The service was great and we really absolutely loved our meal! This is a family run restaurant so I love that you know you are supporting the local community when you eat here. I also love that they have wine from a local winery that you can purchase with your meal. I personally love seeing family run businesses supporting other family owned businesses! This place has beer, wine, and other drinks that you can order with your meal. Everyone that worked here was very friendly and we will definitely be back to try out other things on their menu.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere new to eat and Pezcow looked interesting and wasn't crowded. We stopped in and were seated right away. The menu was interesting, with many seafood options and dishes I was not familiar with. I got a dish with fried shrimp and some rice and a little side salad. Very pleasing. Husband got a couple of tacos and a giant bowl of stew - beans & bacon I think. That came with tortillas and was a little spicy so I didn't try any. Overall we had enough food we took some home, and I definitely wouldn't mind coming here again. Relaxed atmosphere, polite staff and good food. :)

If you're looking for fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared seafood, Pezcow is the place to go! Their dishes are packed with authentic, bold flavors that set them apart from anywhere else. You can taste the quality in every bite--this is seafood done right. I love it so much that I gladly drive an hour just to eat here. It's that good! Whether you're craving ceviche, tacos, or any of their incredible seafood creations, you won't be disappointed. Pezcow is a true gem!

We went for the buffet and they had a wide variety of options to try including menudo, posole, birria, and chile Colorado. The posole and menudo were very good!

I came to heck out this place for their Sunday Brunch. Was told by owner on Sunday the menu is a variety of different famous Mexican recipes and this is my review. Menudo, Birria, Shrimp patties with nopales, homemade corn tortillas, Chile Verde and Chile Rojo. I thought I made a wrong turn and landed in Mexico. My Yelper friends you have to come for brunch at PezCow and at $25.00 you can't beat this price. Been here twice and has more them satisfied my palate, my favorite is the Mexican cafe de Hoya and the birria these review does not give it justice to how good the food is. Home made tortillas are the bum and you can see the owner making them right before your eyes, love this place for Sunday Brunch with family. There is also a desert table with Mexican pastry's I'm telling you, you have try this place . A definite 5 star. Customer service is excellent as happy to be supporting this small family and women owned business and looking forward to being my family to this restaurant

The restaurant is very festive and cute. The little touches seen around the restaurant really shows how much care went into its design. They serve up freshly fried chips with salsa as soon as you are seated. You can hear the sizzle of the oil from the table. Always a good sign. The chips were nice and warm and the salsa spicy. Molcajete Mariscos - this was one of the better dishes and if you like seafood and don't mind getting messy, would definitely recommend. The side of beans seemed unnecessary but was nice to have to break up the flavors. Torre de Mariscos - this was a massive plate and looks really impressive when it arrives but was a lot of food even when shared amongst our party of three. Flavors were good but became monotonous halfway through. Would order if you have a large party. We also ordered tacos and enchiladas, both of which was delicious.

Buffet Menudo 100% Sunday buffet It was great for the $25 all you can eat Not a large variety but was is there was GREAT

Well worth the price $25 for brunch is affordable Food was great 2 bowls of menudo will Cost you as much

Enchiladas Verde | The side salad was so bomb I ate it lol the rice is so fluffy delicious too. Go!

So after settling in line and realizing we were in for the long haul-my breakfast burrito craving instincts started kicking in,so I jumped on my phone and opened Yelp and saw this interesting looking spot wasn't too far away. With my spot secure in line by my buddy,I jumped in my car and headed to Taqueria California in Windsor. The shop is located in a multi tenant shopping center so parking is zero issue. Walking in I was greeted by the amazing smell of breakfast meats cooking with those beautiful Mexican spices,I knew I was in the right spot. The very friendly staff took my order of 2 breakfast burritos-I got a Bacon version and a Chorizo version-they cost $13.00 each Both came with a green and red sauce on the side and also a complimentary small bag of chips. I ended up trying a little bit of the bacon burrito, since it was my friends,it was pretty good and one can never go wrong with a bacon breakfast burrito-but honestly my chorizo burrito was amazing. It was perfectly seasoned-not overly greasy-and then paired with the two salsa-each bite was better than the next. The potatoes went so well with the eggs and chorizo and cheese-I enjoyed it very much. This was the perfect meal to start off what ended up being a big day of beer drinking at the brewery. In closing-if you ever find yourself in the Windsor area and are craving a breakfast burrito-I give this shop 2 major thumbs up and guarantee you will enjoy your meal from Taqueria California.

Service could not have been better or nicer. Chips and salsa both excellent; the folks in our group who'd been here before ordered the guacamole even before we sat down. I love how guacamole is slightly different in each restaurant -- this guac is super fresh and really delicious! One friend wasn't super hungry and so got the chicken tortilla soup -- just know their portions are LARGE. So soup truly is a meal in itself! Two of us got salads -- a friend got the taco salad, and I got the chicken tortilla salad. Honestly, I'd probably get the taco salad next time, but not in the tortilla -- the chicken in my salad was deep fried (I know, I'm in a Mexican place, what did I expect?) and so it kind of overpowered everything. Others got burritos, tacos -- and everyone gave approving "Moos" of enjoyment as they ate. Great drink menu, ice-cold beer. Definitely someplace I'd return to!

Unfortunately, I never received a response. A colleague and I visited for dinner around 8:00 PM. The bar area was crowded and loud following the Music on the Green event, with many guests gathered to watch the NBA Finals. We requested a table in the dining room and were seated without issue. We ordered two cocktails to start, but neither was prepared to our liking. We politely sent them back, and the staff graciously replaced them. Approximately 30 minutes later, we ordered a second round. After about 15 minutes had passed without receiving the drinks, we asked another server to check on the status of the order. Moments later, our food arrived. When we inquired about the drinks, the server informed us that she would not be serving my colleague because he had "had too much." I was genuinely confused and explained that this was not the case. We had each ordered only one drink, and neither of us had been drinking prior. The server then pointed to my colleague's face and stated that he looked tired and therefore appeared to have had too much to drink. At that point, I asked for further clarification because the explanation made little sense to me. Neither of us was intoxicated, disruptive, or behaving in any way that would suggest impairment. The only response I received was, "I'm sorry, that's it." This was one of the most bizarre dining experiences I have ever encountered. I fully respect a restaurant's responsibility to refuse service when appropriate, but in this situation the decision appeared to be based entirely on an assumption about my colleague's appearance who naturally has narrower, squinted eyes, which is simply part of appearance. It was very unfortunate and an inaccurate assumption, as he was sober, and we're behaving appropriately. I left feeling embarrassed, confused, and incredibly disappointed. What should have been an enjoyable dinner turned into an uncomfortable experience with no meaningful explanation. Because of how this situation was handled, and the lack of response when I attempted to address it privately, I do not plan to return or support this business in the future.
