I loved how the beans were more whole, the cheese less melted, and the rice was more moist! The outdoor seating was just so beautiful and lovely in their courtyard! Excellent Mexican food & service in a quaint small town near Sebastopol. The service is friendly & the food arrives quickly and presents nicely. The chips and salsa are fabulous especially the pico it's freshly chopped onions, tomatoes, peppers, cilantro & lemon juice so I suspect! It's clearly made in house without any added canned sauces! This restaurant has a very cute patio. The vines of wisteria made the patio shady and the thousands of seed pods made it beautiful and whimsical. I was a little sus about the sangria which the server described as wine and lemonade. But after squeezing the lime on the drink, the sangria was very refreshing. I was craving for mole and ordered the Chicken Mole Special. The serving was just right and the mole sauce was decent. The fresh salsa from the chips and salsa gave it more flavor. We were warned about the bees in the patio and that to feed the bees chicken if they swarm around us and it worked! Also ordered a Fish Veracruz that I forgot to take a picture of and I was told it was decent as well. There is also a huge grill on the side and we fantasized for them to offer a Sunday grill one day and bottomless margaritas. Would love to come back again! read more

Probably one of the worst burritos I've ever had. I grew up walking to this place and the food was great! Not sure what's happened over the years..But it was $15 for a flavorless, mushy burrito. I got the chile verde because they don't have carnitas, and it was sooo fatty. Like more huge chunks of fat than meat. The pico was flavorless and the red salsa was just straight spice, No flavor. They put a bunch of soggy lettuce leaves, not crisp and chopped like I've had from other places. Just overall super disappointing. read more

We walked in at 7:45 and were told they closed at 8 .. the lady at the counter said it was too late and that the cook might be upset if she had him make us food... then she said we could take it to go ? Really confused , wasn't sure if it was her or him that just didn't want to work lol So we said sure we can take it to go..she went back to tell the cook who thru a fit in Spanish that I understood , after that we just said thank you and we left . In this economy you would think small business would be willing to accept paying customers that would bring in more customers but unfortunately we can't recommend a place that would get upset over making money . Seriously spoke too soon!! LOL Since my last review, I have been craving that damn tortilla soup only to be disappointed by the lack of flavor. Not to mention, stale a** tortilla chips. Oh boy! We ordered two of those soups, bean and cheese burrito, and a carne asada quesadilla (disgusting) with beans and rice. Maybe it's because it's a take out phone order? That is no excuse! I asked the man if there were beans and rice that came with our soup and he confirmed yes. Well it didn't come with it, so we expected it and that's pretty annoying. The MOST EMBARRASSING things about this whole order was the AUDACITY that they served BROWN GUACAMOLE. Like WHO DOES THAT?!!! AAAND the spiciest PICO I've ever had. I don't recollect pico de Gallo making your mouth feel like I just ate lava. Tears rolling down my face. This review is much exaggerated, but completely honest lol No joke WORST QUALITY OF FOOD!! Maybe third time will be better? I don't even know if there will be a third time TBH. I just know for sure I will never order take out here ever again. I've been wanting to try this restaurant but you know, Covid, get it to go, etc and I don't think this type of cuisine travels well. So today Sonoma County is now in the red, or less restrictive tier, so I visited Mexico Lindo and had a lovely lunch outside on their patio. Couldn't have been nicer. I ordered the chile relleno and my server said that his grandfather made them. It was light as a feather and delicious. Everything was good and their salsa must have been made while I waited to order. It was so fresh. Treat yourself to a well deserved lunch outside and enjoy Graton. read more

My first visit and that my last. Was a cold rainy day so there weren't a lot of people there but it filled up by the time we left. Service was excellent and the food was really good really fresh and very different. For example my fish and shrimp tacos had edition of chopped lightly cooked carrots and broccoli I've never seen that before. We both ordered sangria which we didn't love a little too lemony but we drank it. Very good food reasonably priced in a sweet little town. read more

Wow don't bother ordering food from this place. It's worth the extra travel time into Sebastopol. Went in with a friend a few weeks ago and ordered a "house made" tamale and an enchilada. The tamale was as dry as a desert and the enchilada was unremarkable. Today I ordered a simple rice and bean burrito just for my son. No cheese, no salsa, just a plain burrito. He takes one bite and there are eggs, potatoes and all kinds of things in there and it "tasted funny". It came with stale chips. $15 for an Horchata and a plain burrito. No offer to replace it, and a refusal to refund because I didn't think I'd need to take the receipt. PASS. read more

The taqueria to stop at in this town while you are on the Gravenstein Highway busy with wine tasting but need to anchor your stomach with some food! The margaritas are wine based and too sweet vs. a traditional tequila margarita. Don't do it, just stick to wine. Food is classic and delicious. I am extremely surprised this place has such good reviews. The food itself is okay, not great. The quesdillas are something one could easily make at home. Nothing that knocks your socks off or has you jumping up and down, thats for sure. High prices for Mexican as well. They could easily have 3 stars if it wasn't for the complete lack of cleanliness. Pretty solid, middle of the road Mexican restaurant. Good prices, good food. Not great overall, but some special dishes. The mole chicken is awesome and carnitas too (but only on weekends, usually). The super burritos are big and fresh, the salsa is chunky and yummy. The platos are all good. Get mexican hot chocolate after dinner! Dropped in with the wife and our two daughters (ages 1.5 and 3.5) on our way home. The upside: They were very considerate of my kids, who, thankfully, were very well behaved relative to other dinner outings. The Downside: A bit pricier than I was ready to spend, but figured, "If it cost this much, it must be worth it." It wasn't. The food took for-ev-er. Seriously almost 30 minutes after ordering for 3 entrees. And no one said anything like, "It's coming right up,""Sorry it's taking so long,""Here, have some extra chips. I had just told my wife, "If the foods not up in 5 minutes we're leaving" when it arrived cold. I was going to tell someone and send it back...but no one came around. Ever. The dinning room is about the size of a medium-large living room. We were grossly neglected.
