    California Nachos
    Shauna f.

Outstanding portions of food. Generous portions of meat on my California nachos. It was so big I could only eat about a quarter of it. Great service with a very friendly staff.

Been going for years-food, service never disappoints- their margaritas are a great deal! Highly recommend

Went in for their great happy hour deal! Great margaritas, not too sweet not too sour. Came with chips and a really good not too spicy salsa. Was not expecting the super nachos to be as big and as delicious as they were, our expectations were blown away. Great little bar space and patio space if you are looking for a margarita and chips type of weekend.

Flora sat us in a cozy booth, offering drinks right away. She knew the menu and offered advice on all of the items we asked about. The table chips came with salsa and beans that were tasty. The chips were perfect. The agua Fresca Jamaica was not too sweet and was refreshing. Quesabirrias was absolutely delicious. The chile rellano was as well. We will return, next time I look forward to the fried ice cream. It was lovey seeing all of the Katrinas and the marigolds for the upcoming holiday. 3.5% discount for cash was welcomed!

    Gorgeous Catrina(Dia de Muertos)

This Mi Pueblo in Cotati serves up some really good food. I decided to forgo the beans & rice and order the 3 styles of enchiladas with shredded chicken. I figured the corn tortilla was enough carbs. Man, they were delicious, stuffed with mild spice chicken, covered with mole sauce, a red sauce and a green sauce. I ate two and took leftovers home. Wait I jumped the gun, before we ordered our entrees the kind waitress brought over chips and a dipping bean salsa, that was so good too. My friend ordered tamales, they enjoyed them and it was a great presentation too. The restaurant is very large with many areas to be seated. It is beautiful inside with lots of Mexican colors, and incredible Catrina(Dia De Muertos) decor, it is clean and very welcoming. Our waitress was a mature adult like me and my friend. You can tell she has lots of experience of keeping customer happy and coming back and we will.

    Grilled chicken Burrito Bowl

husband and I have dinned-in at the Resturant and even ordered food to go. Never had issue before until today. The food was horrible and not eatable. We ended up throwing away the food and just making premade mash potatoes in the microwave. The chicken wasn't grilled it was marinated it was salty oily. And the bag said bbq chicken when I had just asked for plain grilled chicken. Had to move the bbq chicken and big slices of lettuce and pico de gallo to see if there was even any rice or beans to begin with. The tortilla for the burrito we ordered tasted like fish and the rice had a weird chewy taste. It was disappointing. Regular Burrito and grilled chicken Burrito Bowl. Not good. We took are garbage bag out because our dinning area and chickens smelled of fish and oil. Zero would be my rating instead of 1 star.

    Albondigas
    James T.

My first time coming here with my girl and she got menudo and I got albondigas it was pretty good. The carne asada azteca was pretty good but we should've gotten the arrachera oh well next time. We like how much space there was and the ambiance it was also not too loud and crazy nice Friday night dinner hit the spot. We took home leftovers it was a lot of food that's what we liked the portions and price was awesome. Service was good also and this was pretty busy even on a very rainy weekend. I haven't tried any of the other locations but I like this spot right in Cotati. Starting to build up my list of decent Mexican restaurants and this is up there on my list. Definitely excited to come back and try their specials.

    Veggie burrito

Horrible very gross tasting burrito I always get it with no sauce on it and tortilla is watery in spots most the time and this time putting salsa on it ruin it I can't eat that I've always got my burrito with no sauce until now

    Super Burrito
    Ashley M.

Ended up ordering a burrito on DoorDash and it was good. I would not say it was amazing, because I have had better, but flavors were decent. One thing I wish it had was more sauce on top. Did come with chips and salsa, which is a plus. I think I would try it again but dine in instead.

Enchiladas were good, but I got double rice when I said no rice. So half my $20+ meal is going in the trash. (2 Items Combo)

We love Mi Pueblo Cotati. We probably go a few times a month, maybe even once a week. We love our regular server (usually Flora). But sadly something has changed. I noticed their ratings declining over the past year so I know something is up. The vibes are tense at the restaurant. Takeout orders - are correct about half the time. Tonight was yet another example. I clearly asked no rice with my combo & instead I got double rice. My debate... do I drive back 15 mins just for my beans?? Come on Mi Pueblo! Do better! We try to bring them more business and we only like the Cotati location but they are about to lose our business cause I'm tired of the carelessness & lack of effort by most of their employees.

    Carnita tostada
    Sarah E.

Always a good time when we get to eat here. I got the big tostada but I honestly didn't think it was going to be THIS big. They should call the big A** tostada and then you really know what your getting! It was fantastic though.

I don't think your prices are high enough for a bean, cheese, & rice burrito = $12. F-it make it $15. I love the salsa but not that much.

First of all, we went on a Monday night and the…read morereservations were fully booked, but we decided to try stopping in, which turned out to be smart, because they could seat us almost right away in the bar dining room, which was spacious and didn't feel like a bar area. They even accommodated my request not to be in sight of the TV. We were with my husband's cousin from Maui, an international traveler/diner, so he wanted to go all out, which meant we ordered the two specials - a dry aged porterhouse (T-bone) and a wagyu steak (not sure which cut), both medium rare. We got the bearnaise sauce and the green peppercorn sauce. I had one bite of each side or the t-bone, so NY and filet mignon, and two bites of the wagyu, which turned out to be my favorite. The reason I only had a those few bites of such exquisite, melt in your mouth meat was because of the irresistible courses we had leading up to it - wedge salad with tender diced bacon and pungent blue cheese dressing, potato skin fondue (like an elevated bacon nacho cheese dip), mussels in a flavorful broth that we sopped up with the addicting (on the house) bottomless basket of butter garlic parsley topped rolls (texture of Hawaiian rolls but not sweet). Then there was the scrumptious four cheese mac n cheese. I had to hold off on the giant onion rings (just ate the inside of one) to save room for the steak. We somehow also had drinks and dessert - I finished the first (which they made tart like I requested) and only tasted the last - a pineapple cheesecake, while my husband and his cousin demolished the rest along with creme brulee. Service was excellent and well timed. My husband's cousin said he hadn't expected the food to be so stellar, but that it even surpassed the swanky steakhouse we had gone to with him in SF on his last visit. We told him we weren't that surprised since we really like the other Stark restaurants we've been to, but this was the piece de la resistance. It was partly a celebration of our 25th anniversary coming up, so this feast was a blessing.

Then this person came over and started lecturing us for sitting down. We will never be back so rude. We had only been there once and walked right in and sat down in the lounge. We thought that the way it worked. This Employee didn't even take the time to ask or listen. It was so juvenile like a little kid stomping their feet. It took 40 min to get out burgers and they were overcooked and bland - no seasoning. Rude service, overcooked, food that took way too long to get to us and a bonus lecture. Seriously people? Last time we will go to any Starks restaurant again.

Anthony made sure our birthday boy got his birthday song, scoop of ice cream and his cowboy hat. My younger son thought it was the best burger he's ever eaten. It was very good. The only thing is the sole was not what we were expecting, it was very meaty/solid. Normally, sole breaks apart easily and very flaky. We would not order this again. For sides, we had frites, button mushrooms provencal & brussels sprouts gratin. We only liked the frites. If we are in Santa Rosa, we would definitely come back. The reason I didn't give a 5 star review is the handle on the brussels sprouts pan was very hot and the waiter didn't tell me it was hot. I touched the handle and burned my fingers severely to the point it blistered up. When I realized my fingers were burned, I asked the waiter for ice and he looked at me confused of why I was asking for ice.
