I was playing the slots at Graton and was craving a bagel, so I stopped in for breakfast and ordered the Smoked Salmon Bagel ($18). It came on a toasted everything bagel with whipped cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomatoes, capers, and red onions. Both sides were generously loaded with toppings, so every bite had a good balance of flavors. It was comparable to other smoked salmon bagels I've had, but the generous amount of toppings stood out. It definitely satisfied my craving. I also loved the ambiance. The bar and TVs gave the place a lively feel, and the decor was nice too. My server was cheerful and friendly. She joked about my oversized Trader Joe's shopping bag and shared that her sister had "stolen" both of hers. It was a funny conversation that added a personal touch to the experience. read more

Man the chips and dip they serve here are so good. We ended up ordering an extra bowl of it because we devoured it! The steak and fries fell short of my expectations and ended up liking my double burger with an egg on it. Our server took our order and ended up having to serve the bar and make drinks so we were kid of left on our own. Had to hunt someone down to get some to go boxes. Wow!! I've been here once or twice in the past, but this was my first time back in the area this year. We were blown away by the exceptional service from our waitress, Gaby! She literally made us feel like guests in her home. Not to mention, the classic double burger was incredible! I had a somewhat complicated order, but it came out exactly how I wanted it -- and absolutely delicious. This place has great 80s rock music, super nice and attentive staff, amazing food, all-day breakfast, and tons of other delicious options to choose from. Makes the decision hard lol. This is a cozy clean spot inside Graton casino. The staff was very friendly. The Greek salad was fresh, delicious and a large portion. My husband enjoyed the basic breakfast. The shrimp cocktail was weird and slimy. We couldn't eat it. The server refunded us which was very kind. This is another option to eat at beside the food court. I ordered the CALIFORNIA CLASSIC SINGLE with Bacon. The taste was basic (the burger was seasoned and the meat wasn't overcooked). A secret sauce was supposed to be on it but honestly I didn't taste anything that stood out. I was thinking, "what could I add that could level this burger up?" Although lacking in taste, it was filling. Would I order it again? No, especially when it's $22. The KENNEBEC FRIES that were served with it were on point! This was our first time here and it was my birthday. We were very satisfied with our food. The chicken wings were super good. They are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside without being too greasy. I especially liked the strawberry cocktail the best. It looked delicious and pretty when it first appeared. The chocolate peanut butter brownie is a must-have dessert. The chocolate peanut butter ice cream pairs with the chocolate brownie in a perfect match. Overall: Great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. We highly recommend this restaurant for its cocktails and desserts; they are absolutely not to be missed. I would like to especially thank the manager who worked at the restaurant on January 1st. Your understanding is a great help to us. You are outstanding and a valuable asset to the team and the company. You made my birthday truly special and it was an absolutely memorable day. I just wanted to give a shout out to one of my favorite waitresses Dina who works at the bistro. She's very professional at her job. Yet at the same time makes you feel really comfortable like you're almost having dinner at her house. She has an amazing sense of humor. Now let's get onto the food. The chips they offer with the dip. Amazing. Their wings are second to none. But I wish they would bring back the Sriracha Parmesan. I will never understand why they took them off the menu. Drove pretty far to go to dinner here for my husband's first Father's Day after spending all day in the ICU. We were rejected due to having an infant. When we were promptly informed that there was a sign outside if we wanted to read it, I decided to write this. The research we did online failed us, my mistake. Drop the attitude! No need to ask if I wanted to read the sign. Hate to review based on one off experience but this has to be the worst dining experience ever. Entered at about 11:30 on Presidents Day. Place was half full. Booths taken, just tables left. Fine. Not picky there. Ordered about 10 min later. Nothing complicated. But it took over 30 minutes. And no food came out of the kitchen for at least 15. Never seen a half full restaurant where not a single person had food. Managers excuse was that it was busy. If you can't handle a restaurant that's half full then you can't handle a restaurant that's full. Clam chowder + Caesar salad with shrimp. Don't do this. The croutons on the Caesar salad I could crush in my fingers. The $12! Shrimp were five of those 21-30 count tiny ones. For $12!. $12! Build your own omelette: egg was just under cooked. Why are we charging $19 and serving two frozen hash brown patties?! Don't mind the hash brown patties but don't charge $19 and slap frozen food on a plate plus a squeez-it jam. Okay but it gets worse! Last order was a standard all American breakfast. Sunny side up, toast, aforementioned frozen hash brown patties and sausage. Sausage was raw. Like. Raw raw. It looked like they freaked out and tried to deep fry frozen sausage. So second time had to deal with manager. Offered to comp the breakfast and remake the sausage. How long would that take? Didn't want to take a chance. Server was fine and apologetic. Manager could care less. Something was going wrong in that kitchen, clearly. Customer service was appalling. Don't charge me $20 for breakfast, make me wait 30 min and serve me raw pork. read more

Gave this another try and once again the food was simply not good at all. I ordered the shrimp n grits and it came out looking as though I was served a bowl of soup. The really really undercooked grits were swimming in what I guess was a complete bowlful of a watery white cheddar liquid. Some of the shrimp appear to have been grilled, others not, and there was a darker sauce in the middle over some of the shrimp. The addition of andouille were maybe 10 mini-bite-sized pieces to equal probably 1/4th of a sausage. Visited the Graton with a few friends who were new to town. Prior to playing the slot machines, we decided to try the bistro to grab a quick bite. To my surprise, it wasn't as crowded as I thought. We had a large group and we got seated pretty quickly. Our server was not as attentive as I hoped, he was very slow and would often forget small things such as sauce or chips. We decided to try the smash burger and the hot chicken sandwich in which both were not memorable. I prefer the truffle fries. I also got to try the banana parfait which was amazing. Favorite bartender of the week goes to Amanda!! She was very helpful in explaining the different menu items and letting us know what people love on the menu. We went with the pot pie and fish and chips. Pot pie takes about 25 months to cook so if you're in a rush don't order it. Husband enjoyed it. Fish and chips were just ok. I wouldn't order them again. Prices are high for portions but you are paying casino wages. Overall enjoyable lunch. If you're sitting at the bar u get a free appetizer of chips and dip. It was delicious! read more

What impressed me the most during my visit was the service provided by Davina. She hustles behind the bar, no waisted motion in performing her duties, making drinks, serving food, bussing the bar, providing refills, and presenting the check....all while being very pleasant, talkative and attentive! We tried the Bistro at the Casino and it was pretty good. The wait staff were all very responsive. We were seated quickly and our orders taken after a few minutes. We had the poke stack with Seasame chips, wings with BBQ sauce, wedge salad, double BBQ Smash burger, flank steak salad and a Blackberry Moscow Mule The appetizers came pretty quickly, which was great because we were hungry. The poke stack had an avocado layer and chopped cucumber and there were plenty of chips. They had some homemade pickles on the side, too. We loved the wings which had a light breading and crispy fried and tossed in sauce. My husband had the wedge salad, which had thick sliced bacon crisped up and on the wedge. He loved it. The smash burger was giant and it was delicious. The meat was really good. My salad was good, but the meat was a bit over cooked. It was still tender, but turned into saw dust at the end of the bite. I could have sent it back, but didn't. I'm sure they wouldn't have had a problem redoing it. The cocktail was fun. You could really taste the fresh blackberries. I don't expect much from a casino restaurant, but the food wasn't bad. Came in on a quiet weeknight and was seated immediately. We were given complimentary kettle chips with an onion dip w/ everything but bagel seasoning and it was good. You can really taste the onion flavor in the dip, which I liked. We also ended up using it to dip our fries. I got a classic smash burger cause can't go wrong with it. You have the option to choose a single or double patty, as well as add-ons. It was good and not overly salty like some I've had. I chose the single patty, but wish I got the double instead (cause they're so thin!). CK got the fish & chips and it was 2 huge battered pieces of fish w/ a side of slaw & fries. They gave us ketchup and tartar sauce, so you will need to ask for the malt vinegar. I continue to love the thick sliced sourdough. Kind of strangely, they only offer oyster mushrooms, so for my build your own omelette, I skipped the mushrooms. The service was excellent was quickly greeted and seated and served hot coffee that was also good. The ambiance is chill and the space doesn't have any of the casino noise entering. Located inside Graton Casino Bistro 101 has a nicely sized menu with an assortment of fusion food. The have a ton of appetizers with a pretty good selection of entrees. Fried chicken chop salad was okay. It was a little bland for me and just not enough dressing. Fish and chips was bready but the fries were nice and crispy. There are quite a bit of tables and can accommodate a nice side party of 8 or more with no problem. Staff was friendly, but a little slow on getting you water and refills when needed. Bistro 101 is a nicer albeit more expensive place to eat compared to the food court that's just outside the casino area. read more

Looking for a big Christmas Day dinner? I found it at Bistro 101. Started with appetizer the always available but never disappoints spinach dip yummy. When my meal arrived I actually gasped the plate was huge with thick Ham slices that had been marinated in a honey glaze. The ham was so tantalizing it was mouth watering (no exaggeration here) served with roasted whole carrots. This meal was so filling I had to ask for take home. American Restaurant/Bar at the Graton Casino. We came here after a Concert on a Friday night and surprisingly the wait wasn't long. We sat at the bar because it was faster to get seated. My dad wanted a kahlua and cream and my mom wanted hot tea. We started with some happy hour clam chowder, they have a nice happy hour in the evenings and TVs showing the games! Service is great and quick, we also got the happy hour shrimp cocktail and my mom got the salmon and vegetables. There were plenty of options and service was quick. We visit Graton Casino often and try to eat at Bistro 101 at least once a trip. Our most recent trip we ate here for breakfast. My wife had a delicious waffle and some tasty Ecuadorian Coffee. I ordered the Flat Iron Steak and Eggs . Steak was prepared perfectly as were the delicious scrambled eggs. Comes with a biscuit and small round potatoes. Our server was Davida and she provided superior service and even more fantastic conversation. I ordered a lemonade and Davida suggested I try a Passionfruit Lemonade and that was a tasty recommendation. Lots of TVs to catch up on any sports that happen to be going on at the time. Typically the food here is great, but today was unusually bad! I ordered the Sticky Salmon Bowl this afternoon and the salmon came with the top somewhat burnt and overdone. I tasted it and the salmon had a very "burnt" taste. I flipped it over and the bottom was completely "burnt" to a black crisp. I left it for the waitress to see and she took the order back to the kitchen. She came back to apologize and said the new order will be out shortly. Upon receiving the second order, again the top was burnt, but not as bad as the first order, but upon flipping it over, the bottom was maybe 1/2 burnt......still NOT acceptable. Pointed it out again to the waitress, and she asked if we wanted to talk to a manager.....we said yes! The manager came up and also knows us as we are regulars. He apologized and was willing to serve us something else, but we declined. The manager blamed it on the glaze sauce, but we could see that the problem was that the chef cooked the salmon with the glaze on the pan and it become burnt on two occasions. What the chef should have done was put the glaze on at the end of cooking the salmon. In the end, the manager ended up offering us any desert on the house as well as comping our meal completely. read more

Very slow service. My wife and I spent the better part of a day at the casino and wanted a nice meal before our long drive home last Saturday afternoon. We were seated promptly and Bistro 101 was not crowded or busy at all. The menu looked interesting and we ordered standard stuff, following our server's recommendation. The complementary chips and dip were delicious and the first course arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Then we waited for the main course. And waited. And waited...We must have waited at least 30 or 45 minutes and as I mentioned the place wasn't busy at all. We asked our server to check on our order; he came back and told us that the food was almost ready. More waiting. The manager even came over and checked on us and apologized for the long wait. We finally told our server that we had to leave, offered to pay for the first course and the manager comped our meal. There is something wrong here; I don't think I will be going back. read more

This is a new restaurant over at the Graton Casino, and it looked very promising from all the photos and what little bit was written so far. I got the mac & cheese with bacon, which was yummy, and a short rib sandwich, our dessert was Crème brûlée, it was very good! The service was excellent, and we were sat down quickly. We never had to look for our Server, so she was doing her job. The ambiance is modern American. All in all we had a great time. I will be back; I'm sure they'll be even better! After our dinner, we went to see Grand Funk Railroad and had an absolute blast. I think this restaurant is still very new. They need a serious look at table placement. There are several tables that are basically in the dark. Watching people hold their menus out in the aisle to get some light or using their phones as flashlights. Definitely ask for a booth. Other than their lack of sensible space planning, great place to grab a bite to eat. If we can give 1/2 star ratings, they would get a 3.5. read more

We had a late lunch at Bistro 101 yesterday. The vibe is sports bar. While my Bohemian Bowl was fantastic, others in my party had the fish sandwich and the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich. Neither of them was on the menu as 'spicy' but the remoulade used on both was so spicy that they could not eat them. We mentioned it to the server when she took them away. She agreed that the remoulade can be spicy, said they usually just put mayo on the turkey (they didn't), but offered nothing to help. I am having breakfast for the second time in a while. I love that they changed the orange juice to fresh squeezed and the flavor is what I like ( not sure which type of oranges they used. The greeter, server, and manager were all on point...friendly, available. The lighting is just right. Music playing on the radio is a mix of pop, etc. old/ new school. James the bartender and David really made my night after a long day of work. Very relaxed and patient that made me feel at ease. The overall appearance of the restaurant is modern and warm, but still has the typical feel of a bar/restaurant. Whoever made the NY steak that night was phenomenal. The perfect medium rare with barely any grey ring. So juicy and the compound butter added to the extra tenderness. 101 wings are delicious and they are thicccck. I got the classic Buffalo and I can't wait to try their other flavors. The chicken sandwich is one of my favorites when I order for lunch but having it fresh from the restaurant was just THAT much better. Love the aioli and slaw that goes with it.
