My boyfriend and I came to Tubbys on a Sunday morning at brunch time. We were able to be seated right away the food is good, there's so many options for vegetarians! They have a great selection of food. They need to update the look of the place but over all we were happy

The cutest diner ran by the most amazing family. Maria is the hardest working mother and restaurant owner ive ever known, never taking a day off. Her husband and her have done a fantastic job keeping this diners legacy alive while serving high quality food made by her husband. The place is so clean and friendly. Tv is provided with the latest sports games , along with a couple of actual games for activities to do while you eat! Breakfast burrito is my favorite but they have the best homemade chilaquiles & juevos rancheros as well. Highly recommend.

I don't recommend this restaurant at ALL. To start with the owner is really rude and selfish. I have seen serval times putting cones in parking lots while his restaurant is NOT OPEN! He even asks people to move to a different parking lot if you aren't going to be eating in his restaurant. Its a public shopping center and there are more business next to him. This makes me not even try his food.

Two cook and so many people waiting for their food. Took about 1hr to wait for our food. Chicken and waffle suck and salty bread crumb. The people are very nice but if you want to open up a restaurant business it got to be good service, good food and this one isnt for a ma & pop shop. It's really suck! I hate leaving bad review. They need to fix it

This place is awesome!. The chilaquiles were good but the potatoes were fantastic. Ordered the mimosa sampler & it was even better. The 2 best 1s were the pineapple & pomegranate The server Maria was great

Had been here before a few times a few years ago. But I hadn't been back since the change in ownership. The new owners are so much nicer, the food is so fresh. They have really good salsa and amazing service. The food is amazing, I got the eggs Benedict which was perfect! My mom got the veggie skillet and my dad the veggie inlet. And my daughter of course got the kids face pancake. Super cute! These people are really sweet they go the extra mile to make you feel at home. I will definitely be back. Service like I expressed is amazing, food is good and there are no issues with parking. Weekends it gets a lot more packed but for the most part you go during the weekday and you'll be seated quickly. I forgot to take pictures of the rest of the food!

The Grove - We tried everything on Happy Hour! Bang bang shrimp, Mac n Cheese, and beef skewers for the win

Despite having…read morethree menus - drinks, dinner, and happy hour - choosing what to order didn't feel overwhelming, and we quickly landed on the anchovy toast, beet salad, shrimp & grits, and mushroom risotto. Our server was incredibly friendly, and the entire room shared the same warm, easygoing vibe. The small, speakeasy themed space was already packed at 5 PM, so reservations seem like a must. Everything we ordered was well-prepared and delicious, but the standout dishes were the beet salad and the shrimp & grits. The beet salad had a perfect mix of textures; chopped pistachios, tender beets, and crunchy radishes over a pillowy ricotta. I finished the salad wishing there was more. The shrimp & grits featured a potlikker sauce that absolutely lived up to the hype; it made the dish. I wish the shrimp & grits were served in a bowl rather than a shallow dish. I found myself chasing the sauce and polenta around the plate, trying not to push it over the edge. That said, if it were in a bowl, I might have just drank the sauce, so perhaps this is the restaurant's way of preserving a bit of dignity for its guests. Next time, I'm hoping to visit when oyster po' boys and fried green tomatoes are on the menu.

The vibe is effortlessly chill, with whimsical decor--think antique lamps, an old record player, and lots of little details that make you want to look around. The whole place felt alive in the best way--buzzing with conversation, laughter, and people clearly having a great time. We didn't have a reservation, but lucked out with seats at the community table. Bonus: the other guests were super welcoming, which just added to the fun, communal feel. We hit happy hour, and wow--it's a good one. Tons of interesting bites and a solid drink lineup. I went with a whiskey sour, my friend had the ginger beer on draft (very refreshing), and we shared the prawns, Brussels sprouts, and creamy mac & cheese. Everything was seriously delicious. Shoutout to our server, Melanie--friendly, attentive, and totally on it, even with the place packed. A couple things to note: it does get loud, so maybe not your spot if you're after a quiet, intimate dinner. Also, the happy hour menu listed Brussels sprouts but didn't mention bacon--I'm vegetarian, so that was a bit of a surprise. (It is noted on the regular dinner menu, which I admittedly didn't check.) All in all, such a fun, lively spot. I'll definitely be back for more bites and cocktails.

We got there at 11 we were seated immediately and it took them about 30 minutes to take our order. Not to mention that the original girl who came to talk to us, was only able to take our drinks and she told us that another server would come back to get our actual food order. The mocha oaxaqueño was actually pretty good. The actual food I got was all right. To be honest it's a little strange when you go to a restaurant and the coffee is better than the actual plate. I got the chilaquiles, normally when you get this plate anywhere else, everything is kind of mixed together, which gives everything a good flavor. In this case the eggs were separated from the chorizo, which was also kind of separated from the actual chilaquiles. Since they were all separated, you couldn't really taste the flavor on the eggs or the chorizo of the Chilaquiles. Therefore, I was not a fan of the dish. I will say that while we were there, no one came to check on us or ask us if we liked our food or if we needed anything. The place inside is very loud and packed. Anyways, it was a little strange to eat somewhere where the server hardly talks to you in a restaurant that is kind of empty. I'm not really sure that the food was good enough for me to come back. But the coffee was definitely good. This would be something I would probably buy for a takeout.

The flavor of the curry sauce was addictive. It wasn't spicy, just super flavorful. I ate way more than I I could handle, but that's because it was so insanely good. My only concern was that I would love to see a vegan option for something with french fries. Other than that this place was a nice gem. I had to pick someone up in the shopping center, i was hungry, and i had seen this place advertised…read moresomewhere. It sounded good...smoking bowls. It was late, i guess 45 min before closing. Looking at the menu it all looked great, creative etc. i asked the server shot the food and he said oh everything is made from scratch., etc. we're got two bowls, the dragon bowl and the roast beef bowl to go. We got them home and opened them up. The roast beef bowl was described as being served over a bed of home made mashed potatoes topped with home made gravy and special horseradish sauce. Tasting it, it was a way too salty and the meat was so mushy it blended way too seamlessly with the brown gravy to my taste, ie it was all a mush of sauce over more mushy mashed potato! But i preferred its flavor over the dragon bowl, but definitely did not taste like a home made beef gravy from scratch, it was on the overly thickened by corn starch side, with that fake bouillon taste. Dragon Bowl looks good, topped with crunchy cashews that had slight rancid taste, and fresh green onion. And sadly, the chunks of chicken in it were hard, ie tough, precooked for who-knows-how-long-tasting; old tasting. And the sauce was way too sweet. I was disappointed with the $35 bill. We took the food to go. Once we tasted it at home we basically threw it all in the garbage. What a waste but, yuck. Sorry! Ambiance: The place was empty of patrons, and felt like it was closing now even though they still have 45 min. Our two bowls were ordered were handed to us super fast after ordering, like it took no time to prepare, explaining the poor flavor and quality we experienced, plus look at what others have written about all this premade fast food. I want to give one star, but I'll give 2, in benefit of the doubt they were trying to close early and rushed things vs if it were earlier in evening with more clientele.
