My sister and I stopped by for dinner and left very impressed! We were quickly greeted and seated. There were maybe two or three other tables with people sitting at them when we came. There's plenty of seating indoors and the interior was very clean. They have booths, which I love! The menu has a lot of great options on it. We opted for a burger with a side of fries, onion rings, a milkshake, and a grilled chicken sandwich. The food came out pretty quickly and was at perfect temperature! My sister really liked her burger and enjoyed the sauce. She noted that the buns were very fluffy. She wasn't a huge fan of the fries and I would agree that they can be improved. They were a bit dry and needed seasoning. The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious! I loved the pickles that came with it. I opted for a side of tator tots which were crisped to perfection. The onion rings were also really good. The ranch was also delicious and flavorful. Both of us absolutely LOVED the milkshake. This was probably our favorite part. They also gave us the mixing cup with the amount that didn't fit into the serving glass. The milkshake was super creamy and we would come back just for this. Overall, we had a great experience. Everything was super affordable and really good. We will definitely be back!

The Philadelphia

Hubby and I have heard a lot of hype about this place. It's a bit out of our way since we live in Santa Rosa but we had some extra time yesterday and decided to check it out. We arrived around 11:30 on a rainy Saturday. The restaurant was warm and brightly lit. We were greeted right away and told we could sit wherever we liked. Our server brought us menus, water, and made friendly conversation about our plans for the day. So much on the menu looked so good! I decided on The Philadelphia (two smashed patties, tri-color bell pepper, provolone, grilled onions, and garlic aioli) and my husband went with the Reuben (corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and horseradish aioli on sliced rye). Both sandwiches came with our choice of fries, sweet potato fries, or tots. I opted for the fries while my husband went for the tots. The food was delicious!! My burgers were perfect- smashed thin and crispy around the edges but still super juicy. I couldn't get over the fact that we both got these huge plates of food for $10 and $14 each! Their fries were really good but the tots were amazing- super crispy. Definitely some of the better tots I've had in restaurants around here. Service was super nice and attentive throughout. We left feeling very full and satisfied. I wish this place was closer to us because I know we'd be there all the time!!

I had no idea about this place until it recently started popping up in my Sonoma County Foodies group. It's a bit "far" but we happened to be at an event right around the corner so it was the perfect spot for dinner on Saturday night. Came in around 7pm (they close at 8pm) and the place was pretty packed, ranging from families to older couples. Casual, clean, open restaurant. Service was friendly, professional and efficient. Everyone seemed to be working together so that was nice! Food - I ordered a double smashed burger with sweet potato fries. The brioche bun was a perfect holder for the well-seasoned, crispy-edged charred beef. It was juicy, cooked nicely with the slightest bit of pink. I did not add the sauce and it was not missed. Sweet potato fries can be hit or miss so I'll try something else next time but the house made ranch was herby and delicious. Price point is wild.

Double classic with fries, we both ordered the same

This place in located in the same shopping center I seem to come to often and need to use navigation every single time. To get here involves a maze of surface streets that only Rohnert Park would put you through. Came in on a dreary Sunday around noon. Place was maybe 1/4 full with two wait staff. The setup is pretty simple, clean, and modern. Heard this place fries with tallow the old fashioned way so decided I should come check this place out. We both ordered double classics with fries and milk shakes. I didn't really notice any difference with the fries, they were as good as in most places. The shakes were lovely, they give you the extra in the mixing cup as well like in the classic restaurants. I recommend the cookies & cream shake, I'm told it's the favorite here. Wish the banana shake used real bananas though, they're not expensive and it makes a big difference. The burgers were good, I usually forgo onions but this time they were grilled onions so I kept them. What's amazing about this place is how reasonable the prices are, you don't see this very these days.

Double cheeseburger and fries

$9 for a cheeseburger and fries!? Wow! AND its good!? What a great little burger place. All of the burgers and sandwiches come with French fries, sweet potato fries or tater tots and are all reasonably priced especially for a sit down restaurant. Its super clean and comfy here and the service is great. I got the double cheeseburger with French fries. The burger is 2 smash burger patties, so super thin with a crisp edge, cheese on both patties, burger sauce, GRILLED ONIONS, pickles served on a soft grilled bun. So good. And this was a big burger, I couldn't finish it all. Ill definitely be back for the BBQ cowboy burger (not sure i got the name right but it has bacon and jalapenos and BBQ sauce also on it so, yeah...that one!) Looking forward to my next visit AND ill get a milkshake next time too!

I placed my order through DoorDash for pickup. When arriving, I asked if I could please get some ranch and was quoted $0.75 for it (a little ridiculous if you ask me, considering how much you actually get). When being charged up front, I was then told it was $0.82! I ordered a whole combo and felt I should have at least been offered 1 free condiment (besides the standard ketchup packets).

Ruben with tots

Very friendly staff and clean establishment. I had the Ruben which was very good. Probably the best tater tots I've ever had. The Ruben had a horseradish aioli which was good but different. My wife had the Philadelphia burger which she loved. The prices are good too.

I wanted to try something new for lunch, and decided to stop by since it looked pretty new! S E R V I C E: I waited a bit for someone to take my order, even when there were only three people eating inside. When someone finally took my order, he wasn't very welcoming. F O O D: I ordered a panini with chicken, mozzarella, arugula, and roasted tomatoes. The French fries were extra and they offer fresh squeezed juice. The sandwich was good, but nothing I haven't had before. O V E R A L L: For the price, I don't see myself coming back.

Quality smash burger. Affordable and good quality. The loaded fries are a meal in themselves but well worth it.

That ended up being what we ordered -- the #18 Poor Boy -- and I added pepperoncinis to it. Honestly, it was really good. The sandwiches are HUGE and could easily be shared if you're not super hungry. We ordered them to go, and they were kind enough to include paper plates for the picnic we had planned later, which was a really nice touch. Everyone was also really friendly and greeted us when we walked in, which made the experience even better. It took about 10 minutes for them to make everything. As soon as we walked through the door, the employees were attentive and incredibly helpful. There is a big menu on the wall but I couldn't read it well (forgot glasses in car) so the employee gave us a hard copy menu. Their sandwich selections are impressive. We decided to try their specials of the day: Chipotle chicken with avocado on sourdough Chicken parmesan on whole wheat roll I noticed that they were also offering a tri tip sandwich today. We'll give that a try next time. There are several tables inside. All were wiped down, chairs pushed in, and the ambiance was very comfortable. There was a constant flow of people either dining in or picking up their orders so this place is hopping! The gentleman who took our order delivered the sandwiches to us when they were ready. Sandwiches are large! They were heated through nicely. I took a bite of my husband's chipotle chicken and it was delicious with a nice little kick. I really loved my chicken parmesan sandwich too. Great combo of flavors and I could easily go on and on about their bread. I chose wheat and my husband had sourdough. Texture and taste were the best! I could only eat half so I wrapped my leftovers using the paper in my basket and sealed it with a toothpick. We waved good bye to everyone and thanked them for a nice lunch and headed to our car. As we were walking, a gentleman called us and brought us a bag for my leftovers! What an incredibly kind gesture. I can't remember the last time an employee went out of their way like that. That's the kindness they exude. Thank you for a very positive first experience. We will definitely be back again very soon.

Came here to meet a friend before a trip to the coast and somehow this place turned into mission control. Snacks? Covered. Drinks? Secured. "What's the plan?" meeting? Handled. This place isn't a stop... it's the pregame to your entire adventure. We walked in like "let's just grab a couple things real quick" ...and immediately started acting like we were prepping for a 3-day expedition into the wilderness. Trail mix, drinks, random artisan goodies we absolutely didn't need but emotionally required--into the basket they go. The vibe hits you right away--warm, local, no nonsense. Not that fake "rustic but expensive" energy... this is the real deal. The kind of place where you half expect someone to hand you sourdough and life advice. Now let's talk about that wood-fired kitchen... The smell alone should come with a warning label. You walk in thinking you have self-control... and 5 minutes later you're ordering like you just finished a marathon you didn't run. Zero regrets. Grab-and-go here is elite. Perfect if you're road-tripping because everything feels intentional--like it was made for people who say "we'll just eat in the car" and then end up parked somewhere scenic turning it into a full dining experience. Outside seating? Dangerous. You sit down "just for a minute" and suddenly you're 45 minutes deep into conversation, solving life, planning detours, and debating whether the coast trip should include at least three unnecessary stops (it should). The market side is where discipline goes to die. You go in for water... leave with snacks, drinks, and at least one item you'll later say, "honestly... great decision." Parking is easy, place is clean, and the whole experience just flows without trying too hard. This isn't just a market. It's a pit stop that turns into a personality trait. Will I be back? Yeah... next time I'm pretending I only need one thing again.

In the back, you will find fresh pizza and sandwiches made for lunch time and dinner and they also do to go dinner that you can pre-order for your entire family which is great. Some of my favorite things from Penngrove market are the JM Rosen cheesecake, their awesome selection of chocolates and desserts, and the ever-changing coffee, tea and spices. For the wine and beer drinkers, they have a small but impressive selection of local and imported beverages, as well as many drinks for those looking for something refreshing and non-alcoholic. The coffee bar at the front is an excellent choice for morning pastry and hot drink, or you can bypass that entirely and go for the Strauss organic soft serve which is honestly not to be missed. The location of the store is easy to get to as long as you are coming at a time that does not coincide with school pickup, and there's lots of parking right on the street or in their parking lot. Prices are moderately high, but what you get for that price is high quality and supporting local business which works for me!
