This place does really good burgers, cooked to order. Couple of craft beers on tap. Milkshakes come in about 20 different flavors. Friendly quick counter service. All the food comes served on metal trays lined with paper. Bright red and yellow squeeze bottles of ketchup and mustard top every table aside a paper towel roll. Only a few tables available for seating. All seats are benches. I ordered a super burger, cause sometimes that classic lettuce, tomato, onion, pickel combination is what I'm craving. Ordered it mid rare, and that's how it came. They have 'all the cheeses' you can choose from. I went with pepper jack. Burger was perfect. The bun was perfect. The produce was great. All in all a delicious burger. I went with a side salad instead of fries, but the fried side options were plenty and they all looked pretty good. The salad wasn't bad either. It came with kidney and garbanzo beans, carrots, cucumber, sliced onion and tomato on spinach. Only note on this salad is they should probably chop the onion and tomatos for the salads instead of dropping slices on your salad. Couldn't find any knives to cut thise big slices I wish the dining area was larger and more comfortable, otherwise I'd really want to hang out there over a cold pint. read more

I don't know why I haven't written a review yet. These are the biggest, juiciest, most flavorful burger and I love that you do half and half tots/fries or onion rings. Get all the toppings and cheese, if you're gonna do it, just do it. My only complaint- and it's not really a complaint is that when I do order pick up/delivery by the time I get home the bottom bun is soggy. I guess that's a me problem, maybe I should just dine in. read more

I have been a fan of Super Burger for awhile but had to travel to Santa Rosa to get my burger. Best Burgers, ever! Glad to know that I don't have to travel as far. The new place is in an odd spot, but hopefully they're reputation will proceed them and people will still come to this location. As far as burgers, they're just as good as they always are. Burgers are made to perfection. I did not find them greasy at all. My husband can finish I whole burger but I find it a little difficult especially if I have french fries and a shake with it (and we split the shake). The shakes are divine and the amount of different shakes that they make is even better! I do wish they would come to Marin county but they said they were only going to be in Sonoma county for now. . A truly delicious burger cooked as ordered. This burger is a generous size. They offer a smaller burger if you don't want to eat such a large portion. I have tried both sizes, and they're equally good. I recommend getting the supersauce. The tater tots are crispy with just the right amount of saltiness. I did not try the milkshakes, but the lady next to me had one, and it looked so good i wished i had ordered one too. Me and this burger had a stare down immediately just from the size alone. It had a grand-opening sign out front so I take it that it had recently opened in the shopping plaza. We were in the area late Sunday evening after an appointment, around 7:40pm, and were in the mood for a burger. We wanted to try something new (for us) and decided to stop into Superburger, not knowing they were actually closing at 8pm. When I saw the hours posted on the door, I was a little hesitant to be "that guy" that comes in right before closing but I popped my head in and asked if it'd be alright and mentioned that we would eat quickly and be out of there before they close. They welcomed us in and told us to take our time - none of this "we shut down our kitchen 30 mins before closing" business. We ordered a bacon cheese superburger ($12.95) and small fries ($4) to share, plus a fountain drink ($3.25). With tax and tip, about $27. The food was up pretty quickly. The fries came out unseasoned, but they do have a salt shaker near the other condiments. The fries seemed pretty standard. Nothing really to complain about, though it would've been nicely to have them seasoned since iodized salt doesn't really adhere well. The burger, though, was super delicious. The beef was seasoned, cooked perfectly, and super juicy. The ratio of beef to cheese to condiment was perfect. I'm not a huge fan of tons of raw red onion, but they put just enough not to be overpowering, but still provide that extra flavor. It was honestly the best burger we've had in Petaluma in a while. The burger is also quite large and the small portion of fries is plenty to share. I noticed when you order online, you're given a ton of options, like temperature to cook the patties, etc. Since we rolled in right before closing, I'll assume they skipped that part for brevity (it turned out perfectly anyway), but hopefully they would ask for doneness, condiments, etc normally. I also noticed the extra toppings/condiments were pretty expensive - $1/each - and also quite limited, so if you're used to Five Guys and getting every topping imaginable for free, you might be disappointed with this. The one topping I wish they had were jalapeños, pickled or raw. The spice is just a perfect complement to a rich, juicy burger. I left feeling like $3.25 was pretty pricey for a fountain drink, but noticed comparable pricing at Five Guys. We don't normally drink soda. The menu also had a Beer & Wine section, though it was pretty sparse: 3-4 beers on tap (one sold out) and no wines that I could see from a quick scan of the menu. Overall, solid 4.5 stars. I'd love to see more topping options, like jalapeños and also have them be a bit more reasonably priced. But this is a super solid burger option in Petaluma and although we're not eating burgers on the regular, this might become our go-to spot when we do have that craving. read more

One Liner: Juicy burgers with quality ingredients and interesting flavors that make this a destination spot for burger fiends in the area. Went here with some friends during a weekday lunch hour. First impression was that it was a small place and they had interesting options to choose from in different sizes. There was one person working the register and taking orders while there was only one cook making the food. The girl who took our order was very nice and walked us through the menu. The food arrived quickly with no issues as we sat inside their limited tables and chowed down. I eventually chose the McDonald Ave. Burger which was a 1/2 pound beast with a large order of tots. This burger comes with blue cheese, garlic mushrooms, "gart-ichoke" sauce, which is a roasted garlic and artichoke aioli, and I added grilled onions. When it arrived it was BIG. You can get a smaller patty option, but as I always say GO BIG OR GO HOME. As I bit into it, the flavor was solid and delicious. The patty was juicy and assembled well. It tasted fresh and textures of the different ingredients complemented each other well. This burger was extremely potent as you can tell from the blue cheese and copious amounts of garlic. I really enjoyed the flavor at first but by the end of the burger it was a little overwhelming. My next time coming here I will try a different flavor. The large tater tots I got to share is for about 2-3 people and could easily be for 3+. They were crispy, not greasy and delicious with a side of ranch. 7/18/24-When I asked the front desk clerk at our hotel where we could get a good burger? With no hesitation he said, "SUPERBURGER". Me and my husband decided to give it a try, we are not from the area and have never tried their food. The burger was big, juicy and cooked to perfection!! The onion rings were crunchy and with a thin batter coating. The shakes were also very creamy and the 12oz was just the right amount to polish off with our burgers. My husband is a hard critic when it comes to burgers but he also said it was a very good burger and was happy we gave it a try. I live less than 3 minutes away (from Petaluma location) and even ordered to-go in cotati location before and never once received soggy fries despite living further away. My personal experience here as both a customer and as an Uber Eats delivery driver I am not impressed with the level of service. Food was 4 stars, service was 1-2 stars. As an Uber Eats driver we are not to get customer drinks because we don't carry a food handlers permit and it's a Health Dept violation to have people getting drinks for other people without a permit. It's been an unspoken agreement for a long time that we just got the drinks but it's been made clear by Uber Eats that it's not acceptable and a health code violation. Today I went to pickup an order for Uber Eats delivery and the gentleman passed me the empty cups to fill. I explained that we aren't supposed to without a food handlers permit and he got a nasty attitude and says well the other drivers do it and I'll come around and fill them and then left them at the soda dispenser. Beyond rude! Not to mention there are ZERO customers in there so he wasn't busy. I won't be going here again myself and I won't be bending the rules to make his job easier. read more

I saw a new sigh for Superburger near a park in my area. We all know burger joints are usually nothing special, but sometimes they really shine when they're new. When I got there, I found out they'd been open a couple months, just the sign was new. Good layout for a burger joint - thick wood picnic tables, dark decor, very clean as you'd expect. They recommended a barbecue bacon burger for my first time. Okay. Also got their mango lemonade. Delicious lemonade. I commented that the only thing missing was a shot of gin, which got a laugh from the server. The burger arrived in a few minutes. Well constructed, with a toasted bun, good bacon, onions, onion rings, lettuce...and a nice, juicy beef patty that lasted until the final bite. No mystery if you want good beef, let your cows eat grass! Then it doesn't really matter if they're Angus or whatever. The burger was held together with a handy wooden skewer. The place actually has a fairly large menu of stuff, not just burgers. They offer tap designer beers, and a fridge full of canned bevs. It's actually pretty close to a good sports bar menu, but without the distractions of a sports bar. Price for my burger and drink wound up close to $20, which is about average these days. I don't know if this is the best burger in town, but it's a very good burger. read more

The food is good. No problems if you eat there. Unfortunately, if you get a burger to go, they put it in a box with the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles underneath the burger. The result is a soggy mess. I only live 5 minutes away but the bottom bun no linger resembled bread. We had to replace them with sandwich bread to hold the thing together. So I took it home and yep not well done red in middle did not want to take it back as I wanted to eat so I went to Marys pizza and got a burger there it was fantastic well done no red. Don't recommend sub par burger in Petaluma. Unfortunately my 1/2 lb cheese burger was not seasoned; couldn't even taste the cheese. I never got asked how I wanted it cooked and it came out bland and oily. It was dripping with fat and the bun was mushy because of the fat dripping. I got 2 old grainy tomatoes and wilted bruised chopped lettuce. My son's cheeseburger tasted completely different and his was plain. Want to talk ambiance, well there was loud metal in the back of the restaurant near the cook and in the dinning area was pop music, couldn't handle the mix of both. I was so excited to have a Superburger within walking distance. I hope this new Petaluma SB is successful. This is a location where many businesses have failed. If it's as good as your other restaurants it will do well. I GAVE it 1 STAR because our 1st order was totally SCREWED UP. I went in to a mostly empty place, ordered 2 different burgers &.fries. I asked for grilled onions on both (& paid extra for them). Nope, no onions. Ordered smaller burger medium rare. Overcooked. Asked for BBQ sauce & ketchup. Neither. Fries weren't hot. I REALIze it's new, young workers new on the job but either I don't go back or I need to check every order before I leave. It wasn't busy. Where was the manager? I left 15% tip. For.carry out.
