We popped in and had an early dinner around 5:30. I wanted the curry noodle soup. One of the girls wanted an egg noodle soup with extra egg and rice noodles. The other got an oishi roll. The restaurant is always very accommodating. We got some lovely green tea to start. The soup was big enough but I ate the whole thing minus a little cup. I've never had curry rice noodle soup and let me tell you it was an immense joy. All in all great experience the ambience always wonderful restaurant lots of people happy eating. Every time we're in town, we've loved coming to this restaurant, one of our favorites! But sadly, this will be our last visit. Since we were here, they've moved into town and changed their menu. I completely understand the need to raise prices... but it was ridiculous for what we ordered. Kung pao pork and Mu shu pork. The entrees don't come with rice! Seriously? The cheapest thing to add...nope. You pay extra. I'm so bummed. They used to have combos and tasty and reasonably priced food. Sadness. I absolutely loved the food and everything, great place and all. I loved how everything was clean and the food came out quickly. A problem that did come across was that I overheard one of the servers being racist as a black woman walked into the restaurant, he said it in spanish but you could clearly pick up on what he was saying. Moments later I also overheard him say something about transgender people. Behavior like this in the work environment is absolutely disgusting, I can't believe people like this get hired and never get called out for it. During this times stuff like this should be noticed, and the worker should be held accountable for their actions. They should understand that things like this stick with them for the rest of their life. PLEASE HOLD YOUR WORKERS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS!! read more

Wow! Stopped by while driving thru the area on our way home from a camping trip and I am so grateful for the whole experience! The service was remarkable or may I say immaculate as was the presentation of each menu item we ordered :) Staff was very helpful in recommending menu items for us to order and what would pair best with what we were choosing. They offer many specials as well as a wide assortment of menu items, which is why I wish I lived locally so I could try them all haha xD Really made us feel welcome with great customer service and care. The servers were very attentive, but not overly so it is. The musical choice was on point as well and really helped to add to the ambiance. Holy wow. This place was a pleasant surprise! The ambience is really nice, cool music and very clean. The service here was great. They were quick and you can tell everything here is great quality/made in house. We ordered a few hand rolls, cut rolls, the wonton soup, crab rangoons and ended it all with some nigiri. AMAZING. Simply, amazing. I stopped in here, very hungry and tired, on my way back up home to Mendocino the other evening from a gig in Healdsburg. The ambiance is soothing, staff friendly, kind, and efficient, ( Evan you are a wonderful server! ) a BEAUTIFUL wide bar with comfortable seats, and the food is simply delicious. Thoughtfully put together menus - Asian Fusion - Chinese and Japanese menus depending on your mood. I ordered the Summer Rolls as an appetizer and the Seafood Noodle Soup. The hot broth was just what I needed after singing. The only thing is that I wish there had been more broth- lots of noodles seemed to soak it up in the bowl! New to town- Was craving Chinese food after the long move and was pleasantly surprised and intrigued to find this Asian Fusion restaurant in walking distance. I wasn't sure what we were in for being a small town spot next to a quicky mart, but it exceeded whatever my expectations were by a mile. Very delicious! Props to the chef! The server was also really nice and when we left the whole staff said goodnight. What a pleasant place. The decor was standard but the food was escalated so I understand why the other reviews are also high. We got our favorite Chinese dishes (all tasty) and some sushi to top off the meal. I have to say the last 3 times that i have odered in the last month iv been very disappointed exspecaly with last weeks order. I only order pork fried rice and sweat and sour pork the last 3 times i was told 20 min wait went to pick up order on all three times when i got there i had to wait 25 extra min. Last week i waited 45 min for 2 items and when i got home it wasnt even sweat and sour pork. I really like them and before that they have always been awesome. read more

Our sashimi was fresh, my sons yellow curry was delicious, my husband loved his pho (he is a broth snob), and I LOVE their wonton soup. I order it when it is cold and rainy or I am sick. The absolute worst Chinese food ever. I cannot figure out why they are getting good reviews ever. We have tried this place once before they moved. It wasn't great. Then we tried it very soon after I get moved and it was a service disaster. So we thought they were just short staffed that day. So a few days ago we took another chance and ordered again. We just moved to the area and we're worried about dining options as this community is fairly small but this is not the case. This place was SO good! My husband and I stoped in for lunch today on a cold, rainy day. We got some hot jasmine tea, eggplant chicken in a black bean sauce, kung pao shrimp, and miso soup. The food was EXCELLENT! It's the best Chinese food we have had in a long time. Very fresh tasting vegetables and meat. Vegetables were not over cooked and were crispy and delicious. We will most definitely be back for more. Service was fast and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful and clean. I have eaten in your restaurant almost 10 times and maybe the last time . I think it is great that Cloverdale has an Asian restaurant. Having said that, the sushi is not of good quality. Today I had the shrimp tempura roll with assorted nigiri sushi. The shrimp were under cooked, not crisp and soggy. Tempura should be crispy even in a roll. The assorted fish did not have the ocean-fresh taste one would expect. I was very disappointed. You have large portions for some dishes but higher quality is better. Better to do a few things well than many that are below average. read more

What a bargain! Lunch special prices and food is amazingly affordable and absolutely delicious. The restaurant is small and has a cozy feel. Staff is attentive and provided quick and exceptional service. Lunch time gets crazy busy so arrive early if you're on a time crunch. The food at this location is absolutely delicious. I ordered the hot and sour soup as well as the Hawaiian Roll and California Roll from their Lunch Special (it is T4 on the menu). There are 8 pieces per roll, so in total I had 16. It is great plate to share with friends/ family or you can eat it all yourself like I did! The hot and sour soup had a great kick to it. Very soothing and warm like a hug. The Hawaiian Roll and California Roll were perfectly shaped; they didn't fall apart when you grabbed them with the chopsticks. The taste was on point and I was not disappointed. Overall, the service was great. I highly recommend this location if you go to Cloverdale.
