Wow... What a great little unknown place. Amazing food and ambiance. Away from all the tourist areas. Try Chef David's tasting menu. He will personally tailor your meal to your taste and preferences. Rivals Nobu. You will not be disappointed!!!

You truly cannot go wrong at this restaurant. The food is incredible and the ambience is impeccable. Some of my favorite dishes include the tuna and kingfish roll, the crispy soft boiled eggs (insane!!!!), gai thawt, crispy shrimp tempura roll, pork and prawn dumplings, pad Thai, pad see ew, fried rice, and the beef short rib (OMG)! Soooo basically the entire menu!

We ordered 3/4 of the menu items and were super impressed with every item from presentation to layered flavors. Sometimes Thai restaurants are a bit boring and westernized but the flavor here were bold and nicely nuanced. For those sensitive to spice, they also offer to make some dishes half spice. The most impressive dish was the rock fish - it is a full size fish with herb and lime garnishes; the fish was fresh and delicious. My favorite dish was actually the tofu salad - the tofu is actually silken soft on the inside as promised - and surrounded by lots of fresh herbs and citrus. The drunken noodles also stood out as non-typical with excellent wok heat to give it a deep umami flavor. Service was casual and non-intrusive but also very friendly and attentive. I appreciated the proactive extra napkins for our dish and was impressed by how they handled a huge pain in the butt customer sitting next to us who literally complained about every single dish. They patiently took her complaints and offered her alternatives while I admittedly wondered why the customer even bothered to eat a Thai restaurant at all, I felt bad for the staff but they handled it so professionally. There is plenty of dedicated parking in their shared lot. This is definitely a favorite restaurant I will return to next time I'm in town.

I started with the Thai iced tea with coconut cream and cardamom. I loved that it wasn't overly sweet or super milky like some Thai teas can be. The cardamom came through nicely, and the coconut flavor worked really well with it. We started with the vegetable dumplings, which were not what I expected but in the best way. They were almost like a deconstructed dumpling with noodle sheets and spring onions that you wrapped in lettuce leaves. The chili oil was really rich and added a lot of flavor to each bite. We also shared the pad Thai. It also came deconstructed with fish sauce, vinegar, sugar, and other seasonings on the side so you could mix everything to your liking. It was a fun presentation but I wasn't quite sure how much of each ingredient to add. Overall, I enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere.

This is easily the best Thai food in Petaluma! I had the Pad Krapow with ground pork and ordered it extra spicy. The menu states the spice levels are Thai spice levels, but I disagree. The extra spicy is about a medium level spice for a Thai person and most people can easily handle it! The Krapow was delicious - one of the best I've had in a long time! The pork was tender and juicy, and the sauce was perfectly balanced between sweet, savory, and herbaceous, though I would have personally preferred more basil, and of course more chopped red chilies! I didn't see it at the time, but you can also get a fried egg on top, which is absolutely essential for Krapow! I'll definitely try that next time! The service was also incredibly friendly! I can't wait to return to try more dishes.

I love all of the ingredients that they add, including the bamboo shoots, and woodear mushrooms. The pork belly was incredibly delicious this time around. It wasn't too fatty, which is why I typically avoid pork belly, and it paired well with the chili oil. There was more seaweed than I've had in previous visits, which made the broth overly salty. Adding the chili oil helped round out the saltiness. If you like bouncier chew to your noodle I recommend the sapporo noodle. There is a $2 up charge to change the noodles, so keep that in mind, but I think it's worth it if that's your preference. For a drink I ordered the sidewinder. I enjoyed how cucumber forward it was, and the spice from the togarashi salt rim made me want to keep sipping. 10/10 great drink.

There were four of us looking forward to a nice meal, and O & C China Bistro did not disappoint. First of all the restaurant is run by one of the nicest families you have ever met. Our waitress was Claire, the daughter of the owner, and she was a sweetheart! Took our order, shared what she knew and what she had to research. Loved that she was able to put the order in via a computer as we talked and we actually got some of our food BEFORE she was finished taking our order!!! There were four of us in our party and we ordered Hot and Sour soup (one order was plenty for us), egg rolls, pot stickers, Vegi Chow main, Walnut Shrimp, Sesame Chicken, Mu Shu pork and Sebastopol Eggplant with Tofu. Everything was PERFECT, served hot, with so much food that we had an entire two meals left over to take home. Flavors were spot on, nothing was greasy, everything was fresh and the presentation was spot on. Loved the way this restaurant is put together, it is small and cozy, a nice place to go as a group or to take a date. The service was AMAZING, food kept coming out, one after another dish, our drinks were refilled and we were continually look after to make sure everything was good. Loved that they took our extra food to the back and put the food in containers for us. We can't wait to go back!!!!

Every time I have it, I feel revived. Beyond the wonton soup, I have tried several dishes and everything has been consistently delicious. I have also had their hot and sour soup, chicken wings, and dumplings, and I can honestly say the quality across the board is outstanding. You can really tell the vegetables are fresh and the food is made with care. We even rented out their main space for our son's baptism, and it was a complete success. Our experience was smooth, and it meant so much to us to celebrate such a special moment there. I am genuinely happy we are local to them. Their service is consistently great and definitely recommend trying this place if you have not already.

They charged $4 for shrimp on the salad, which is perfectly fine, except I got 3 shrimp for $4. The lemon slices had lots of seeds, which is acceptable enough but just lazy. Tom kha soup was nice. Loved the mushrooms. Eggplant was very good, pretty small portion though. Crispy shrimp rolls were very good, weirdly small/thin. Cabbage is not that expensive of a filler Service was friendly enough. Nice and clean inside. Will try this place again.
