Wow... What a great little unknown place. Amazing food and ambiance. Away from all the tourist areas. Try Chef David's tasting menu. He will personally tailor your meal to your taste and preferences. Rivals Nobu. You will not be disappointed!!!

You truly cannot go wrong at this restaurant. The food is incredible and the ambience is impeccable. Some of my favorite dishes include the tuna and kingfish roll, the crispy soft boiled eggs (insane!!!!), gai thawt, crispy shrimp tempura roll, pork and prawn dumplings, pad Thai, pad see ew, fried rice, and the beef short rib (OMG)! Soooo basically the entire menu!

We had to try. Loved their beef larb salad, green curry. The green curry was loaded with an assortment of vegetables and I had chicken add on. Servers were very nice but a bit slow on service. The flavors of all the dishes really reminded me of Thailand. Coming from San Francisco, I was surprised how good everything was.

Service has been gracious with us each time and provided helpful suggestions when needed. Highlights for us is usually the lemongrass chicken. Definitely on point and the light sweetness from the sweet and sour is great. The crust is always nice and crunchy, and we've found it is easy leftovers with an air fryer. We also got the green curry to try something different and the pad thai for something the same. The pad thai is still a solid choice as everything mixes well. The green curry was great for a vegetarian dish. Probably our favorite part for it was the purple sweet potato which just melted with the sauce.

Decided on this place as it had good reviews, I thought the PHO was very good, the spring rolls were kind of typical but there was only two things that my husband and I left questioning. The first thing which has nothing to do with the food quality or atmosphere, was the gentleman that was helping us . He was very stoic and spending more time chatting with his coworkers than paying attention to us. We had to gently grab his attention numerous times for almost everything we needed. But the biggest drawback? The price. It was the most expensive Vietnamese place I think I've been to? Admittedly I got the filet mignon pho which was somewhat unique to me, the meat was very tender, it was very good but I think I paid about $24 for a medium bowl of soup. My husband said that his chicken PHO was nothing special. Spring rolls, again, good but basic, would I go back? Probably not. But, I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for filet mignon as an option for my soup in the future.

There were four of us looking forward to a nice meal, and O & C China Bistro did not disappoint. First of all the restaurant is run by one of the nicest families you have ever met. Our waitress was Claire, the daughter of the owner, and she was a sweetheart! Took our order, shared what she knew and what she had to research. Loved that she was able to put the order in via a computer as we talked and we actually got some of our food BEFORE she was finished taking our order!!! There were four of us in our party and we ordered Hot and Sour soup (one order was plenty for us), egg rolls, pot stickers, Vegi Chow main, Walnut Shrimp, Sesame Chicken, Mu Shu pork and Sebastopol Eggplant with Tofu. Everything was PERFECT, served hot, with so much food that we had an entire two meals left over to take home. Flavors were spot on, nothing was greasy, everything was fresh and the presentation was spot on. Loved the way this restaurant is put together, it is small and cozy, a nice place to go as a group or to take a date. The service was AMAZING, food kept coming out, one after another dish, our drinks were refilled and we were continually look after to make sure everything was good. Loved that they took our extra food to the back and put the food in containers for us. We can't wait to go back!!!!

Every time I have it, I feel revived. Beyond the wonton soup, I have tried several dishes and everything has been consistently delicious. Their Sebastopol eggplant tofu dish is excellent, the chicken with green beans is flavorful, and the beef and broccoli is always satisfying. I have also had their hot and sour soup, chicken wings, and dumplings, and I can honestly say the quality across the board is outstanding. You can really tell the vegetables are fresh and the food is made with care. We even rented out their main space for our son's baptism, and it was a complete success. Our experience was smooth, and it meant so much to us to celebrate such a special moment there. I am genuinely happy we are local to them. Their service is consistently great and definitely recommend trying this place if you have not already.

They charged $4 for shrimp on the salad, which is perfectly fine, except I got 3 shrimp for $4. And the salad itself was just kind of bland like they didn't taste their sauce or just don't care, and was a small portion. Nothing seemed chilled, just room temp. Ninja roll was nice. The lemon slices had lots of seeds, which is acceptable enough but just lazy. Tom kha soup was nice. Loved the mushrooms. Eggplant was very good, pretty small portion though. Crispy shrimp rolls were very good, weirdly small/thin. Cabbage is not that expensive of a filler Service was friendly enough. Nice and clean inside. Will try this place again. The Pad See Ew was less than stellar but the sushi rolls were good. Let me say that the service from the Thai lady was awesome. Very nice personality and her interaction with other customers was incredible. This time I had the chirashi bowl. The presentation was beautiful but that's were it stops. The salmon and white fish were only 2 slices each which started to fulfill my craving. But then came the other stuff. I hate the egg omelette and there were 3 of those. On top of that, imitation crab was used. While I don't hate it, I'd prefer real fish. I ordered miso soup as well which was too damn salty. They should rename it to Miso-Salty soup. This wasn't the first time either. I remembered how past soups were too salty as well. Whoever is making the soup needs to taste it! I left unsatisfied and went to O! Sushi to next day to fulfill my cravings. I doubt I'll return to lil Thai again.
