Minced pork with basil and Thai chili.

A Hidden Gem You Need to Try! I've been getting takeout from Tipp Thai for years, and I can't believe I haven't left a review until now. This place is truly a hidden gem. Don't let the strip mall location fool you--Tipp Thai delivers solid, authentic Thai food that rivals what I've had during my travels to Thailand. It absolutely deserves more attention than it gets. My go-to order is the spicy minced pork with basil and Thai chili, topped with a fried egg. Every bite is packed with flavor and perfectly balanced heat--truly delicious! Beyond the food, the service is just as impressive. The owner is always warm and welcoming. I came in past 4:00 p.m. after skipping lunch, and he kindly made me a lunch special anyway. That kind of hospitality is rare. If you're craving authentic Thai cuisine at a reasonable price, Tipp Thai is the spot. Do yourself a favor and give them a try--you won't be disappointed!

Delicious Tipp Top Thai cuisine!

We discovered Tipp Thai Cuisine by lucky chance some months ago and now it is our home-from-home restaurant whenever we are in Santa Rosa. The food is simple and authentic Thai, with meals prepared from fresh ingredients with great care, by a chef who clearly knows her recipes! We eat a plant-based diet and have endless choices here. The owner is warm, friendly and welcoming. When you first walk in to the restaurant you might think "why is it so empty in here, I hope the food is ok", but if you settle in and enjoy a tasty meal away from hustle and bustle, you will notice that they have a steady stream of regular customers who pop in for their to-go meals. We highly recommend Tipp Thai, it's a little miracle from Thailand!

Brought my family here to try Thai food for the first time since they were unfamiliar. The Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Rad Nah were spot on. We also ordered the prawns for an appetizer. It was so good and so well priced. The girls loved it. The next time I'm in town, I'll definitely stop by. It's as authentic as eating in Thai town in Los Angeles. Hopefully, one day, I'll make it to Thailand.

Nice salmon curry with eggplant and zucchini. Very empty at lunch time so you don't need a reservation.

The food is very large portions but not over the top with flavor. Half of the dining room is very casual and older, the other half is more traditional and unique where you sit on the floor. It's great for a quick lunch but not where I would go for celebration or hosting guests. The service is very good though and they are very kind and attentive! I would say that's the 4th star is the service.

The Panang Curry was delicious - vegan-friendly (no oyster sauce) and served with a very generous portion and a proper veg-to-tofu ratio. The Drunken Noodles was well-balanced with plenty of veggies, and the Spring Rolls had a good crunch (and I appreciated that they were mushroom-free). The pricing is the main drawback. At $20 per entree, it's a steep ask for the average diner. Even in high-end SF neighborhoods, you can often find comparable quality for less. Bottom Line: I would love to return, but the pricing isn't sustainable for regular visits. I'd definitely be back if the price point better matched the local area and the current state of the economy.

To start, I would order a green Thai tea (not overly sweet - just perfect). Then, I would get the fried calamari, beef pad Thai, tom yum noodle hot pot, and some sushi roll. This restaurant is in the Safeway plaza on Marlow, so there is plenty of parking. If you are considering Thai or sushi for your next meal, I highly recommend this restaurant!

They charged $4 for shrimp on the salad, which is perfectly fine, except I got 3 shrimp for $4. And the salad itself was just kind of bland like they didn't taste their sauce or just don't care, and was a small portion. Nothing seemed chilled, just room temp. Ninja roll was nice. The lemon slices had lots of seeds, which is acceptable enough but just lazy. Tom kha soup was nice. Loved the mushrooms. Eggplant was very good, pretty small portion though. Crispy shrimp rolls were very good, weirdly small/thin. Cabbage is not that expensive of a filler Service was friendly enough. Nice and clean inside. Will try this place again. Probably won't bother for a 3rd

The service is quick and attentive, without feeling rushed. The menu offers a wide variety of Southeast Asian dishes that are authentic, fresh, and booming with flavor. My favorite dish is the coconut chicken noodle soup because the broth is rich and creamy with a depth of coconut. I love that you can mix and match different noodle options with your choice of soup base. The Thai tea I ordered was another standout, not watered down or overly sweet. Just the right balance. Nicely decorated with the wall of bowls, shelf of lit up spirits and open kitchen. It's been over a year since I've dined here. Always Adam of Chef Tony's restaurants. We had back near the kitchen. Drink orders we taken right away, appetizers ordered once drinks were delivered. We needed extra time to decide on entrees because one of us were undecided. Everyone enjoyed their meals: Crispy Taro Rolls, Little Baskets, English Cucumber + Avocado Salad, Khao Piak Special, Duck Confit Noodle Soup, Spicy Curry Noodle Soup, Pork Belly Rice Bowl, Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai. We had a few different servers and service could have been better. We had to ask for more drinks and utensils. I didn't like that 20% gratuity was added to the bill, especially when service wasn't stellar. Food is still excellent.

We also got the green curry to try something different and the pad thai for something the same. The pad thai is still a solid choice as everything mixes well. The green curry was great for a vegetarian dish. Probably our favorite part for it was the purple sweet potato which just melted with the sauce.
