GREAT SERVICE PERFECT PLACE FOR BRUNCH. I like trying new restaurants specifically for brunch. We came to Windsor Bar and Grill with the family and felt like we were family, customer service was excellent we were treated with respect and kindness. Vincent our hostess was very attentive to our table. We had the brunch options but they do offer a menu to order other options. For the Brunch we had scrambled eggs, French toast, sausage and bacon. There were also home made mini muffins, Yogurt parfaits, and fruit cups, coffee was perfect just the way I like it. Ambiance is casual and yes they do have happy hour I do believe they are adding other options to the happy hour so I will keep you posted my Yees. Another great find, I highly recommend to try it out for breakfast or HappyHour, I hear they have delicious chicken wings. 5 stars for this restaurant. Went there at 6:30 to catch the last half hour of their advertised Happy Hour. The Bar & Grill is located off the lobby, and it was CLOSED with a stanchion across the opening. No sign that this place is even still operating. Management needs to update Yelp, Google, etc. of current status, hours if there are still any. read more

The wife and I decided to give this place a try. It didn't start off good some of the stuff same not available on the menu. Wife and I were disappointed the place was empty. Our bartender/ waitress was awesome. My beer was flat calamari was ok. We got some wings and they were just OK as well. Really don't think we will be back. Cheers not to flat beer! read more

Update, went back for cocktails and to share an order of fish and chips. Drinks were delicious, and the fish and chips were PERFECT. Like, could not have been done any better. It may seem odd to go to a hotel to dine at a restaurant there if you're not a hotel guest, but definitely check them out! They're waiting for you! read more

This was our second visit- the first being just over a month ago when they had a whole different crew. That time the food and service great. Since then the chef, front of house manager and staff have all left according to the new bartender/ manager on duty. We arrived 90 mins before a concert at LBC there were only two tables seated one finishing their dinner. We ordered taco appetizers, couscous salad with chicken and a burger. We sat across from the kitchen as hubby likes to watch how a kitchen is running. Tacos came out within minutes. $12, they were good but not amazing - last time we got 3 now only 2. From here we waited.. pizza sitting in the window 15 mins. Two cooks (one in tshirt - no hair nets) the new "manager /bar person" trying to figure out who the food in the window belonged to and the "chef" trying to give guidance and figure out room service orders. No sense of urgency, or customer service. Nearly an hour later we ask the waiter (scruffy and who was now eating the pizza in the window) when our food will come as we have somewhere to be.. we watch him go back to the kitchen talk with the chef & cook and point to our table.. he returns and says it's almost ready- about 15 mins. This suggests they have not started our dinner (burger and salad). We didn't have time to wait and eat so we asked for our bill and left. As we walk out sitting at the bar is a small child and male eating pizza with the bartender/ manager.. there is no one else in the restaurant. So hanging out having dinner with family was more important than the sole table in your restaurant. If I could give negative stars for today i would - not even sure counting the rating from past experience is fair since all the staff that was here has left according to the new manager/ bartender. In the end I paid $7 for each taco including the tip... should've gone elsewhere for better street tacos. We won't be back. Photo attached is from our first visit taco experience. read more

Wife and I use to love restaurant that was here prior to Covid destroying it. Was hopeful. First time in was great! I had the Rock Cod Sandwich and Wife had the Butternut Squash Ravioli. Both were just plain delicious. New chef here killed it on these two items. Lisa who is Manager/server/do everything was great. Looking forward to trying the entire menu. They just got a brand new chef and the menu is excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed my calamari & drunken mussels that were on special! This place is a hidden gem at the Holiday Inn. Excellent drink specials and cocktails from the bartender/manager Lisa who is very friendly, welcoming and professional. She took such good care of me and my buddy Phil. We met a group of five others there. We were next to the windows & it felt roomy & Covid safe. Each of us had different items & everyone was satisfied with zero complaints. For me, the pork sliders were good, but just too dry. The menu pretty much has something for everyone. Not a fan of the giant steak fries. Is there ANYONE that likes them? They're never crispy. My wife and I went here when it was new. We had a good experience. The food was good and the service was very welcoming. The chef came out and asked us how we were enjoying the food which was really nice. We came back for a drink and a snack again and it was still good. We went tonight and I guess there are new owners. The food was different in a not good way and the service was very slow. It took 45 minutes to order drinks and get them and it was not busy. The waitress was new and was trying the best she could given the slow pace at which food and drinks were coming out. I witnessed other tables sending things back and food coming out at weird intervals. There was a table of 5 where 3 people got their food and 2 people waited 10 minutes for their food. Seems like whoever took over doesn't have a clue how to run a restaurant. read more

I am excited to add this place to my list of places that I will frequent. I recently came here with a friend and her very picky son. When restaurants are starting up, sometimes they are running on a skeleton crew, this place is no exception. I arrived and was told that an apprentice chef was in the kitchen and there was unfortunately a limited menu for the evening. I was nervous because a limited menu means my friends child was going to have an even more limited selection of what he's willing to eat.We saw a few people almost leave because of it, but the food they saw was a good enough selection to keep them from leaving. When I say a limited menu, it wasn't too bad. nearly every appetizer and salad was available, but the entrées were limited. We had no problem choosing from several appetizers and a salad. We also ordered the burger. Lisa, the manager was very polite, very apologetic about the kitchen limitations, and made up for it behind the bar when it came time to order cocktails! We ordered the wings, truffle fries, a house salad, and burgers which were cooked perfectly. I was interested in the beet salad, couscous salad and I have seen other locals posting pictures of mussels, seafood, and other excellent looking entrées. I look forward to coming back on a night when the full menu is available. This location has always housed higher end restaurants. I am optimistic that this will be no exception. As a thank you, the manager sent out a beautiful chocolate mousse. The rosewater whipped cream was an unexpected, nice touch. All in all it is a great location, has tons of potential, and we look forward to coming again. read more

My wife and I ate here on a Thursday evening. There were a few people at the bar and we were the only diners, however, hotel guests took orders out. I had fish and chips and my wife had pasta which she enjoyed. Both dishes were very good. The fish was cooked perfectly with a light batter. The bar tender provided the service between tending bar and playing dice with a few people that appeared to be friends. Given we were the only diners in the restaurant his split time between us and the dice game was of no consequence. The service good. We would go back. read more

We came here for the first time tonight and believe me it did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean and airy and spacious! The staff were very helpful and polite and we did not have to wait for any of our food. We had fish and chips and shrimp tacos and they were all very yummy with unique flavors. I am not sure where the 5 star reviews are coming from. But the experience we had there was HORRIBLE. When we went to try this place last weekend, we waited to be seated, the bartender asked us if we were dining in, we said yes so he sat us. After about 20 minutes he came back over to take our order, there were two other tables at this time. One already had their order in and the other weren't ready to order yet. I wanted a house salad and pepperoni pizza. I was told they were out of lettuce so no salad. I said ok just the pizza then. my husband order the calamari and a burger. We waited for 35-40 minutes before my husband asked if he was going to get the calamari before his meal. The guy said yes they just dropped it in the fryer. Ok, 40 minuets later they are dropping the appetizer in? next thing we know 5 minuets later the guy comes back out to tell us sorry that wasnt your calamari they dropped in the fryer, but we are out of calamari! 45 minutes later they tell us they are out of calamari?!?! We told them we are done and don't want our food. So we left. wasted an hour there for nothing. we will never be back. read more
