'Tis the season. I picked up Christmas holiday gift cards to Grata, and I couldn't be more excited! This year, our stocking will be filled with gift cards to our favorite holiday dining destinations, and Grata is a fav. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. It's one of our go-to Italian restaurants, always serving up great service and a delicious menu that makes every meal special.

Everything was fantastic! The food was delicious and the staff really looked after us. We spent our time on the patio, which was beautiful (I didn't get a look at the inside, but the outdoor vibes were great). Definitely grab the happy hour Prosecco--it's a total steal!

First time coming at was very impressed! Everyone has been recommending this place, so I'm glad I tried it! Grata burrata - 5/5 stars - the honey really enhanced the flavors of the cheese and pesto, the little peppers were not spicy and added a good pop of texture Heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad - 5/5 - absolutely amazing combination, a great contrastbof soft and crunchy textures, the heirloom tomatoes were excellent Ricotta zeppoli - 5/5 - really loved the chocolate sauce with these donut balls, wasn't expecting how soft the centers would be, the outside was nice and crunchy Flourless chocolate cake - 4/5 - the topping of dates really threw off the texture of the cake, otherwise the chocolate cake was delicious and not too rich The inside is very nicely decorated, and sitting outside was nice as the sun was setting, but we did not enjoy the cars being so loud since the outdoor seating is next to the main road. Overall, absolutely recommend this place but I wished there was a little more options for salads since I'm not a big pasta person.

It took a minute upon entering to know if I was going to be acknowledged (quite busy for a Wednesday evening!) but once I was- smoothe sailing! I sat at the bar and Ashley was fantastic! She was very informative and helpful throughout. I'd inquired about a wine she let me try and opted for the cocktail instead. I ordered the Garden Party which is cucumber infused gin with herbs and a chili oil garnish. I ordered 3 chilled oysters as a starter. The cucumber/prosecco mignonette made for the perfect tangy bite, particularly with my cocktail. I had asked her on an entree recommendation (of which her response between 2 dishes would determine how many more questions I had)... Yet she answered all of my additional questions without me ever asking, and without hesitation on her selection- so of course I went with the cacio e pepe with prosciutto, kale and mushrooms! ZERO regrets! Such a flavorful dish! I boxed the remainder of my entree to save room for dessert, of which I chose the pistachio gelato with balsamic reduction and sea salt. A great meal with great service! Already recommended to friends that may head this way. Thank you!!

I had fond memories of visiting this place a few years ago and couldn't wait to come back - and it definitely did not disappoint! It's a lovely Italian place with an extensive menu - everything looked so delicious it was hard to decide. I wanted something lighter so I had the asparagus salad and the meatballs. The salad was fresh asparagus, arugula, radish on top of Farro with a soft-boiled egg and truffle vinaigrette. Such a flavor bomb! I also had the meatball starter to round out my meal and it was a lot of food. The garlic bread with it was amazing. My husband had the cacio e Pepe and loved the addition of truffle oil and crispy prosciutto on top. Our service was great and there was a wonderful wine list too. Look forward to coming back again when we are in the area.

The food here is simply amazing! The spicy clam dish has the perfect level of heat to it and same with the shrimp Diablo dish. I liked the raw oysters better than the grilled (no pic). Service seemed a little slow at first but we were in no hurry so the pace was just fine. Very pleasant staff. Semi elegant atmosphere but also a come as you are vibe in this small town resturaunt. This was our second visit here and we will definitely come again! Don't sleep on this place folks and make reservations if you plan on going as it can get pretty busy.

This buzzing Italian restaurant did not disappoint. The reason for a four star is only due to the fact that our table was in a corner away from the the main layout of the place. We got there in time for happy hour and the Aperol Spritz was really good. We shared the heirloom salad which we both thought was pretty tasty, but needed more basil and a lil salt. ( No salt n pepper on the table) The mains were absolutely fabulous. I have to say, maybe the best Cicio e Pepe I've ever had. The shrimp was well marinated and cooked to perfection. The lasagna was out of this solar system. The vodka sauce was a nice change rather than marinara. There are about 6 other items on the menu we want to try, so bet your bottom we'll be back.

Ohh yeah. We got here when they first opened . We got the best seats in the house and by 500 pm the place was packed. Everting smelled good our waitress was fantastic . I had the lasagna and my date had the fish. Mmmmmmmmm. Everything was really good. Meatballs for the appetizer and the baked oysters for the win. You will be very happy you at here. I will definitely be back.

Found this restaurant after a weekend of wine tasting. It's a fairly small interior but accommodates for a lot of seating options. We had a party of 6 and were comfortable. Katie was our server and was amazing! Colagrossi Barbera wine was also perfect with our dinner!

First meal to kick off a wine country bachelorette! We popped in for a later dinner on a weeknight, and it was beautiful so we sat outside. The service was very quick and friendly. We shared the meatballs to start. They were so saucy and cheesy, and the garlic bread on the side was a great addition, it didn't overpower the sauce flavors. I ordered the rigatoni alla vodka. It was good, but it had an interesting herb/oil in it that i didn't love, like extra thyme or rosemary that didn't go with the rest of the dish. But I still enjoyed it and ate it anyway. The portion sizes are quite large, and pretty well priced.

Do they have gluten free options?

Yes there's some gluten free options and more if you substitute things out of some dishes. I'm sure they will accommodate you in some way the owner and chef are the best.

Do you have a corkage fee?

I see raves in the reviews about your polenta cookies. Are they perhaps also gluten free? That would be amazing? Thanks.

At one point my girlfriend and I were walking from the outside courtyard where the dinner was taking place toward the inside of the restaurant, innocently looking for the restrooms. Some employee with a beard, without saying a word, aggressively steps right in front of us to block our path, as if we we were two homeless people trying to walk in off the street. Doesn't ask "can I help you find something"? or do anything that a cordial person in the restaurant business would do. He just stares at us with a stupid smirk on his face. Seriously, clown? After a couple of awkward seconds, I ask where the bathrooms are and he finally points them out to us. What's worse, at the end of the night, my niece was leaving with her husband when another female staff member rudely told them they couldn't exit directly out the parking lot (even though it was the same entrance where people came in at beginning of the party) and actually grabbed my niece's arm. My niece told her "don't touch me." This staff person then went inside the restaurant and my niece heard the employee screaming in anger. Incredible that this is how their people treat their customers during a huge event. The owner should be completely embarrassed by their employees' unprofessional and rude behavior. They might want to get their employees some anger management training or better yet hire new ones that have experience in the hospitality industry. Until then, pretty sure we can get good meatballs and lasagna some place else that doesn't treat paying customers like garbage.

We finished our drinks before the food arrived, which took about 35-40 minutes. During that time, no one checked on us or offered drink refills. Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing as the service. The pasta was overly salty and lacked any other flavor. The steak was ordered medium but arrived well done. Before leaving, we ordered a dessert to go, and the portion was surprisingly tiny for the price. Overall, the service was slow, the food did not meet expectations, and the dessert was definitely overpriced. Based on our experience, it did not live up to the excellent reviews.

From the outside, it's a pretty unassuming building. When we walked in, I got more of a diner vibe than an Italian restaurant. The décor is simple and straightforward without a lot of frills, but we were there for the food, not the décor. We were seated almost immediately, and our waitress was friendly and laid back. She also let us know that we had arrived just in time for happy hour, so naturally we had to order some drinks and appetizers. We tried both the red and white sangrias, which our waitress had made fresh that day. They were refreshing and hit the spot. To start, we ordered the calamari and shared a Caesar salad. We also enjoyed some of the house focaccia bread. For our entrées, I chose the Lamb Ragu while my wife went with the Pappardelle Bolognese. Everything arrived in a timely manner and came out hot and fresh. The calamari was crispy and well prepared. The focaccia was good, although I would have preferred it served warm. The Caesar salad was flavorful and the perfect size for sharing. The lamb in the Lamb Ragu was cooked perfectly, and the pasta had a great texture and chew. The Pappardelle Bolognese was hearty, meaty, and equally well executed. Portion sizes for both dishes were just right and satisfying without being overwhelming. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a pleasant dining experience. My only critique is that both pasta dishes could have used a little more seasoning, particularly salt, to make the flavors pop a bit more. Aside from that, Eddie's delivered a good Italian dinner with friendly service and good value.

Once seated, it took another 20+ minutes before anyone came to take our order -- we eventually had to flag down the hostess ourselves to say we were ready. When the food arrived, it was missing an appetizer and one of the dinner entrees. Service throughout the meal was inconsistent: our waiter never asked if we wanted drinks, and we had to request one ourselves, without ever being asked if others at the table wanted anything to drink. Multiple times we had to flag down other servers just to get basic service, and we asked for a dessert menu three separate times before it showed up. Most concerning, my toddler has an egg allergy, and we had to confirm multiple times whether dishes contained egg. At one point the waiter responded that it "wasn't a big egg allergy," which was a confusing and honestly worrying thing to hear when asking about food safety for a child. On top of all that, the affogato wasn't actually an affogato -- it was just frozen vanilla ice cream with frozen espresso, not the classic hot-espresso-poured-over-ice-cream dessert we expected. Food overall was subpar, we also saw 3 of the wait staff take a shot of alcohol with another table while completing ignoring service for our table. Overall, a disappointing experience with very slow, inattentive service and a concerning lack of clarity around allergy safety. It was super tender, maybe even more so than chicken. Thin and pounded with a nice breading, loved all the cheese. Spaghetti Bolognese: Got the upgrade on the Vitello Parmigiana, where this pasta replaced a plainer pasta. Love that the spaghetti was fresh and tender. The bolognese was meaty. It was *almost* too much food, but I was hungry. Limoncello Mascarpone Cake: I asked if they had limoncello as an after dinner drink, but they did not. However, they had this cake. It was creamy and had that nice tart and alcoholic limoncello tang. Chocolate Temptation: Several layers of different chocolate things. Love the contrast of light milky chocolate and intense dark chocolate.
