Special Pride beverage!
Paula B.

Great spot! Delish pastries and wonder coffee and matcha. The Ube Matcha is so good! Service is very friendly. Nice travel mug selection. Good atmosphere. Love it!

Inside area

I was in the area as a visitor and wanted to get some local food and coffee before I head home. I found this local place on Yelp. The place was busy and very clean. They offered outdoor and some indoor seating. I ordered a lavender latte and egg and potato burrito. The latte was good and not sweet at all. The burrito was not the best. Even with the sour cream and salsa on the side I felt the burrito was not seasoned well and fell flat. I would not be ordering any food from this location if I were to come back in this area. I would order the coffee again. If you are in Healdsburg you should check this coffee shop out for yourself .

Americano with almond milk.

Great coffee establishment with a modern interior design and a lot of space. The area in which it's located is near tons of stores, places to eat and even a park, all within walking distance.

Hannah W.

The vibes and drinks are perfect! And the staff was super helpful and hyped up my order. The hype did not disappoint.

Thai latte
Anna B.

Was recommended to try their lavender latte, a flavor I usually avoid as it can easily end up tasting too soapy, but Black Oak did not disappoint! Not too sweet and very well balanced as an iced beverage. The Thai inspired latte was tasty but very sweet. My companions enjoyed their cappuccino and drip coffee.

Avocado toast, chai, golden chai, sausage egg burrito, cookie and cream cookie
Tatianna G.

Was very aesthetic in there it was a little pricey tho. I got an avocado toast a cookie and a chai and it was $29. The girl behind the register asked me if I wanted eggs and I say oh does that come with it and she said yeah little did I know it was an extra $3 she added in to there. It was super good tho so I'm not totally complaining but a warning would have been nice.

Mocha & Peanut Butter Mocha
Lloyd C.

Black Oak Coffee Roasters is a popular and busy shop located in Downtown. Nice place with a lot of tables and seats to relax and chill. The staff is friendly and nice. I tried their signature mocha. Peanut Butter: dark chocolate, peanut butter, and a touch of sea salt (3/5). I am glad I tried one of their specialty drinks though I thought it was ok. You could taste the dark chocolate and peanut butter which I love but this drink was ok. Be warned, it has 4 expresso shots. I was also eyeing their seasonal Raspberry Mocha. Next time. My wife got a regular Mocha (4/5) which she thought was very good. Support your local business.

Peggy T.

Very cool spot! Came in on a rainy morning and found a table by the window to read our books. They have QR codes that let you order from your table, but even ordering from the line is fairly quick. The bagel and dill cream cheese and jam biscuit were really good, and the breakfast burrito was pretty big. We had the peanut butter mocha, the Dulce de leche latte and the seasonal lavender haze latte - all three were super tasty without being too intensely sweet.

Non-responsive management
Anthony S.

Great coffee and pastries but non-responsive management and even worse wifi. The WiFi has seldom worked (5%?) since they opened several years ago. We've asked front staff about this and they are generally clueless and unable to forward questions to management. Or maybe management hears but doesn't care? Sent an email to Black Oak's customer support last week and 7 days later, still no reply. Cellular is sketchy throughout Healdsburg.so WiFi is helpful to use Black Oak's online site to order. Often see locals and visitors confused about their site not loading with WiFi supposedly connected. Poor customer experience. Either shutoff the WiFi or simply fix by buying a better WiFi router

Tiramisu Latte
Tiara N.

My favorite coffee shop ever!!! Their drinks are insanely good, and their Duomo coffee beans are the only beans I'll buy now. I'm not kidding, I even have an online subscription because I can't live without them. Whenever I'm back home in Sonoma County, I always plan a Healdsburg day just so I can stop by here. The line was out the door today but it moved very quickly. I got the tiramisu latte and it was amazing! It was delicious without being too sweet, surprisingly. And it even came with a ladyfinger on top! I 100% recommend stopping by Black Oak!

Black sesame flat white and iced sticky toffee nut pudding
Shawlien K.

Amazing coffees! Especially if you want a specialty type drink. Recently, we tried the sticky toffee pudding latte and black sesame flat white. The latte was delicious! It tasted like a dessert but I could still taste the coffee. You could taste the sesame in the flat white but it didn't overpower the coffee. I feel like there is always a long line, but it goes fast. If you don't want to wait I recommend ordering ahead.

Lemon Merengue Latte (left), Matcha Dream (right)
Brianna R.

Haven't tried a coffee shop outside of SF in a while! I love the space, if you're wanting to work this is a good spot if you're visiting/living in the area. Not too crowded/noisy. I tried the lemon meringue latte and was a bit skeptical but the flavor works really well with the espresso. My boyfriend had the matcha dream and he said he liked it. The baristas were helpful and answered any questions.

Bruno L.

We had such a great experience here! The coffee was absolutely delicious - we ordered the caramel lattes and they were perfectly balanced, not overly sweet and super smooth. The food was just as impressive. The overnight oats were fresh and flavorful, the quiche was incredible (rich, savory, and perfectly baked), and the ham and cheese danish was flaky and delicious. Everything felt thoughtfully made, and the overall vibe was cozy and inviting. Definitely a spot we'd come back to when in Healdsburg!

It was super busy. I ordered a London fog, which is Earl Grey tea with milk and a touch of vanilla. It took a bit, though it was very nice.

Quail and Condor was one of our favorite spots when visiting Healdsburg for the first time…read more One of the first distinctive notes we found with Quail and Condor was that it was located in a pretty big warehouse-like structure. There are tall ceilings and a good number of tables/seats indoor and some smaller tables outside. On a Saturday late morning while we were there, we did notice that there was pretty constantly a line. However, it is pretty fast moving and took us about 10 minutes to get through ourselves. You'll start by seeing some merchandise and online orders before getting to the baked goods, drinks/cakes, and the cashier. The staff was super friendly and helpful in answering our questions and offering suggestions. Once you order, you get a number if you're eating in and can grab cutlery, water cups/water, and look for a seat. There is also a good restroom that was clean. We sat on one of the bigger tables/benches and our order came in about 7 minutes. Here's what we ordered: +Veggie quiche: One of the best items we had. Loved the flaky pie crust and how big it was. The quiche was delicious and came with a small side salad. +Ham and cheese croissant: A good croissant. Loved the everything bagel-like seasoning on top. I think this being warmed up would go the extra mile. +/-Ricotta and jam toast: The toast was good here. But the ricotta/jam were a little bland. Would have benefitted from a little more of a bold flavor to help give it a distinctive taste. -Iced matcha latte: We also ordered the iced matcha latte. They didn't have almond milk so opted for oat milk. Unfortunately this was the weakest item we had personally. The oat milk was a bit too strong and combined with the matcha used, it left with a bit of a strange aftertaste. Parking wasn't too hard as it was in a pretty big parking lot. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would come back!

Indoor and outdoor seating, we fell in line to get some coffee and breakfast to soak up the leftover wine and other alcohol in our systems. I got a plain black coffee, the egg and cheese bagel with "sausage," and my friend got a biscuit sandwich. It was a busy kitchen, and a busy interior. The layout seemed like I could walk right into the kitchen, so wasn't sure which part was for employees or which was for customers. LOL Just wow. I got the bagel sandwich with a jalapeno bagel. Let me tell you, this bagel sandwich and the biscuit sandwich were massive. Massive. It lasted me 2 meals. What's even more impressive is if you didn't tell me the sausage was not meat... I wouldn't have known... it was so flavorful, and just enough grease to give me a little life after my hangover. Will definitely be back..

That's probably the highest compliment I can give. I ordered the Wagyu sandwich, and every component knew exactly why it was there. Nothing fought for attention, yet every ingredient made the others taste better. The beef was deeply satisfying with a rich, meaty bite, while the pickled peppers were the spark that made the whole sandwich come alive. One bite somehow managed to satisfy my teeth, my tongue, my throat, and even my nose. It's rare to find a sandwich that engages all of your senses at once. Whoever built this sandwich has an exceptional understanding of flavor, texture, and restraint. Nothing felt excessive, and nothing felt missing. Then there's the bread. Too often, bread is just the thing that holds the filling together. Here, it deserves equal billing. Moist, fragrant with wheat, with beautifully toasted edges that added just enough crunch without becoming hard. By the final bite, the filling was already gone, but I still found myself slowing down because I didn't want the bread to end. When a sandwich makes you savor the last bite of bread on its own, you know someone in that kitchen truly cares.

Loved the pumpkin seeds for a little crunch. Definitely the best chicken salad I've had in a long time. And nice on the bread. Lettuce could have been there or not, didn't add anything for me. Simple, effective. The turkey pesto was kind of basic, but the addition of the dill and the very fresh bread did do something for me. I think I'll be adding dill to my pesto sandos now? Anyway, solid sandwiches. Wouldn't say it blew me away and they are a bit small for a $20 sandwich, but here we are. Would come back for the baked goods and fresh breads.
