Came here for a midday espresso shot. It was not terrible, but not great either. The shot seemed pulled well but the quality of the bean was not great. Overly roasted to the point of destroying anything unique or special about the bean. The shot didn't come with a sparkling water back which was also a bit odd. Seems like the place to get an oat milk latte where you don't taste the coffee. Probably wouldn't return here. read more

This review is for flying goat coffee shop corner of Mattheson St and Center St (across from Oakville grocery store). We ordered the matcha latte, chai oat milk latte and cappuccino. All very well made to order drinks. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their natural energy tonic drinks. They had a variety to choose from that targeted specific purposes: energy, immunity, digestive, etc. This location is standing room only and had some merchandise for sale. Ambiance was minimalistic and clean. Overall a pleasant experience and will come again. read more

Known locally as the Little Goat, this cute little coffee shop is located in the CVS shopping center, at the opposite end. There was previously a larger Flying Goat location...hence the Little. There are a few outdoor seats, no indoor seats currently. Dogs are allowed inside and my pup LOVES their freshly baked dog biscuits, made with peanut butter, molasses, and a few other human-grade ingredients. The dog biscuits are what brought us in. While there I grabbed a latte for myself. Good but a tad bitter for me. Next time I might opt for a sweeter Bangkok beverage. And I need to try their delicious-looking savory scone! The new, larger Flying Goat reopened TODAY in its new location 3 blocks south: across from the Plaza at the corner of Center and Matheson. Excited to check that out soon. read more

I love their coffee!!! They only have one size cup and it is the perfect coffee to milk ratio. Cheerful and friendly staff. They prepare your coffee in matter of minutes. Their shop is always clean. They do not have a restroom but there are public restrooms nearby. Great place that is worth visiting. read more

I was excited to check out a new coffee spot while I was in town. Unfortunately, I couldn't get passed the poor customer service/attitude I received from the barista when I asked a question. I'll give them 3 stars for offering compostable, and organic high quality products. Coffee was just okay. I too was expecting friendly smiling faces as mentioned a by another customer. It's so bright and aesthetic inside. There is indoor seating for guests. The baristas are great and the coffee is amazing!

I recommend Flying Goat (not JUST) because they have this cool mechanism I've NEVER seen, but EVERY baked goods/pastry shop should HAVE!!! It's like a mini turbine or windmill propeller thing to keep flies away from the delectable baked goods. ALL OTHER SHOPS take notice - it really sucks as a customer to see or smell the pastries your place offers (and for the really good ones - you probably baked them in house, so that's man power, valuable time and effort) only to get to the counter to order and see flies and nats terrorizing the food (and my eyes for that matter)!!! It's the absolute worst! So CHEERS, gold star, high five, hand clap to Flying Goat for this genius move. Again, that alone deserves a visit here. But they have exceptionally unique coffee flavor profiles (Ethiopia Nano Genji - peach, candied ginger, champagne!), an extensive hot & cold menu of beverages, pour-overs, nitro, lattes, mochas with Valrhona chocolate...! And their cold "grab & go" cold beverages are unique and have brands I've never heard before. And for people juicing or wanting a healthy juice option, they have these cans by the "Juice Shop" that have those superfood ingredients the body thrives on. Was driving through the area and thought Healdsburg would be a cool place to stop for some quality coffee (was really hunting for something third-wave). We stopped in, and we're met with a very friendly barista, and an aesthetic pretty typical of a spot like this (not at all a bad thing). I read the menu, then asked the barista for a recommendation for a pour over. She quickly recommended a natural processed Ethiopian light roast (for me, it is always a good sign when they are quick and enthusiastic about the recommendation). I ordered the pour over Ethiopian, which was light, bright, fruity, and exactly what I was looking for, as well as a cappuccino that was solid, with a great foam to milk ratio. My partner got an iced coffee which was quite nice as well. I didn't pick up any beans, as I am way over stocked at home at the moment, but I will certainly buy a bag next time I am driving through. Again, the barista (didn't catch her name) was great. She also recommended lunch spot. Great experience over all, and it will be my spot whenever driving through the area!! read more

Bangkok. You have to try it! The downside is that it only comes in one size but you will definitely feel the caffeine kick in after one of these bad boys. My company's Intern ordered the mochi donut and loved it haha. Flying Goat is a small cafe. If you're able to score a seat to work out of this shop, you will enjoy the view from the windows. Coffee is delicious, and we've really liked Flying Goat in the past at the Santa Rosa location. When we went in today, the coffee was still good but the service experience was not. We still choose to wear our masks indoors, and the women working stared at us like we were aliens. One of the women working was touching her face and all around her mouth while talking to one of the other staff immediately before grabbing my coffee and handing it to me. I have been loving the flying goat for many years now. It is wonderful coffee in an area where good coffee is otherwise impossible to find. The staff is very consistent with the drinks they put out which is incredibly rare for a coffee shop. They are friendly and quickly remember your order. They have taken many precautions regarding COVID and have always followed all required policies that have been set. Lifting them only when it was clear to do so. read more

Pour over is smooth and a nice deep roast. Zach has a terrible attitude. He didn't want to make a pour over because it would take 8 minutes which was no problem for us but he didn't want to. The frustration on his face was clear; his tone was short and he was not friendly. I guess I am used to smiling, welcoming people in the coffee shops I frequent. While being the ONLY ones in the coffee shop, he told us to wait outside in 35 degree weather and he would call our name. $20 for two coffees and a scone; I would appreciate a nicer person. read more
