I got mine with almond milk and to be half sweetened. It's a bit pricey coming out to $8ish for a hot 12oz drink but I do Ike treating myself once a week for a good cafe stop. I could have settled for a regular matcha too! Love that they give mugs for any "for here" drinks too. Drink was cozy and very good! Lavender was there but didn't overpower the matcha. Good microfoam in the drink and no clumps at the bottom of my mug when the drink was gone! All good signs of a well made matcha drink. Hope to be back soon to try their espresso drinks with their own roasts!

The iced honey matcha latte was exceptionally smooth and bright, which is exactly what I look for in a matcha latte. It tasted like fresh green tea powder and the honey wasn't overpowering. Overall, a great atmosphere for working. I saw plenty of people on laptops and there were 3 different business meetings taking place while I was there.

My all-time favorite is the chocolate supreme croissant, which has half of it dipped in chocolate, with the little chocolate crunchy balls on it and inside, filled with chocolate cream. It's crispy and sweet and fluffy inside, and don't forget to dip it in your coffee, and it is perfection. better than a biscotti in my opinion. I truly have never had a pastry quite like it and I've thought about it ever since I left to come home to Colorado. I would say this is an absolute must try if you were in the Santa Rosa area. I was not impressed by the Coffey but would go again and again and again for the crebble. Personally, I prefer taking things to go as the space can feel a little bit crowded.

"For here" mugs are always a plus in my book too. Brew is unique that it doubles as a cozy bar too once the late afternoon rolls around. They've got interesting events happening throughout the month posted on their sign. Some of their food and pastries are sourced from local Red Bird Bakery and Village Bakery too if you're hungry! Parking might suck, you could find street parking maybe on 8th St or if you're early you could park by the meters for free before 9AM. There's a $1/hr parking garage right nearby but if there's nothing, best to park at SR Plaza for free and make the 5min walk over. They are very forward about their fierce advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights with rainbow flags everywhere. I am here for it! Let's talk about the food and drinks! First, I come here semi-regularly and I am a huge fan of their breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich! My other favorite food item is not on their regular menu anymore, but I LOVE when they do their baked oatmeal. Their coffee is great here, which is from Ritual Roaster in San Francisco. If you come here in the Fall, their seasonal Pumpkin Latte is my favorite Pumpkin Spice latte in the area. So good! They also have a great selection of locally brewed beers, but I've never actually come here at any other time besides morning. They host lots of fun events and have live music and trivia nights. A true, community establishment! The service is friendly. They know their regulars and they are knowledgeable about their food and drinks. I like the inside cafe, but I almost always sit outside in their large, parklet. This parklet was established during Covid times, and for awhile it was taken down, but thankfully it's back!
