Love this space for a coffee shop! It's very bright, open, and inviting and the perfect place to stop to get some work done or meet with others. I ordered an avocado toast and a matcha latte. The avocado toast was delightful. The bread was very fresh and tasted high quality and the avocado mash was flavorful thanks to the everything but the bagel seasoning and fresh lemon juice. The iced honey matcha latte was exceptionally smooth and bright, which is exactly what I look for in a matcha latte. It tasted like fresh green tea powder and the honey wasn't overpowering. Overall, a great atmosphere for working. I saw plenty of people on laptops and there were 3 different business meetings taking place while I was there. read more

Actually dropped by Central Coffee a lil over a week ago on my quest for good matcha in the city! I'll start with some positives! Love the space of the cafe and its location is great for the decent ample parking. Outdoor seating in front of the entrance is very much a backyard patio vibe and it's nice and spacious inside. Service was fine too and it seems all the cafe baristas work well and fast even when there's a rush. Noise level is good so anyone looking for a study spot or a place to catch up with a friend will appreciate that! My only gripe is that I think their matcha latte isn't that great. Not sure what they use and how they prepare it but by the end of my drink, I could see clumps meaning maybe they didn't sift the powder and whisk it enough to avoid that grittiness. I can't attest to their espresso drinks but maybe I'll give them another shot if I feel like a seasonal drink! read more

My family goes to the church next door and the church owns central, and so we go here often, the food is really good and is just a perfect start to the day, on weekdays the place is half full and the service is fast because of the amount of people in the shop, but on the front entrance, it says its closed on Sunday's, technically yes but it open to the people at the church, and it is packed by 11. The mood of the place is nice and gives calm vibes, and if you what a calm start to your day, just pull up to central coffee. read more

Have been wanting to check out the coffee here for a while and was able to make it happen. Located tucked away in a business park, it is a little random location in my option but worth it. My go-to vanilla latte is a good way to judge a new coffee shop (since it's so basic to make) and they nailed it. It had the perfect blend of vanilla flavoring but was able to taste the quality of the espresso. Kinda cool to ask how many pumps of flavoring I wanted instead of just a standard amount so if you wanted to make sweeter; they are accommodating. Drink came out quickly even with 3 orders before me. Very spacious inside seating with lots of communal tables to catch up with a group or do work. Decent size outdoor patio that's covered. I had coffee, breakfast, and a catch up with Taylor at Central Coffee. The location is kind of random (a business park area), but they have a substantial menu with something for everyone. I had the iced vanilla latte. It was a solid latte. Taylor had the iced tea with honey cold foam which was excellent. The honey cold foam was almost like a dessert. We both had avocado toasts. I had the one with pickled onions, and they loaded it up with those onions. The toast wasn't too hard, and we were able to pick it up rather than have to use a fork and knife. i liked the scone is got from here as well. i love a scone. Central coffee what a cute little spot . It's in the business park of north Dutton. What an amazing location as well. You don't have to fight the standard tight parking in Santa Rosa. There's a ton of free parking, which anybody knows is important because most places go downtown you have to use a meter if you can find one.. this place is spacious with a lot of work tables and outlets. The aesthetic is so adorable warm and like home. . The menu board is adorable. I was greeted by one of the ladies and she was so sweet. I said I was in town visiting friends and I wanted to get some work done before they came and she said to stay as long as I'd like and really made me feel welcome. Lots of natural lighting, tables, and can generally find an outlet if you're sitting near the walls. WiFi is great, bathroom is clean. This place is a hidden gem!! Went to a coffee date with my friend and was pleasantly surprised!! It's a really nice big space with outdoor seating as well! The space has plenty of seating (though it filled up almost completely while I was there), tasty matcha, free Wi-Fi, and outlets (along some of the walls). I had to go to Concentra to get some work physical done and decided to stop in here after I was done. They have a good assortment of pastries and the coffee is phenomenal. I like my coffee black so I'm able to taste the actual bean definitely one of the best Java beans I've had. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I visited this location not too long ago. When I was ordering the staff were extremely rude and would cut me off when I would try talking. I ordered me some matcha which was absolutely terrible. The matcha was extremely clumpy and not stirred well. I have a matcha obsession and all I can say is that I will not be returning. read more

Such a nice surprise finding this spot! They just opened 3 months ago too so im excited to have a new coffee spot in town. Great customer service-- I asked what theyre known for and I was told they had a delicious matcha. If you want it sweet you can ask for a syrup inside. I added lavender syrup to my matcha and it was sooo good. We also got a iced mocha with coconut milk which was also a 10/10. Highly recommend the bagel as well, i think it was bacon and cheese. Stopped by Central Coffee on a Saturday late morning. The parking situation was extremely chaotic--cars blocking the lot and pass-through lanes, with multiple vehicles left unattended with flashing lights. The number of "no church parking" signs suggests this is an ongoing issue, but it doesn't appear to be managed. Inside, the café itself was nearly empty with plenty of open seating. I purchased a coffee and approached a lounge area with multiple open chairs. Two people were seated on the couch--I asked if I could sit in one of the available chairs, and they said yes. After I sat down, one of them told me they were having a "private conversation" and asked me to move to a single chair across the café. This is a public coffee shop with shared seating, so I stayed seated. They continued to object and eventually left. The bigger issue was how staff handled it. When I mentioned what happened, I was directed to "a chair over there," essentially reinforcing the idea that other customers can claim a large seating area and exclude others. That's not how shared café spaces typically work. What stood out most is how different this felt from the way the business presents itself online--"community-focused," "a place to connect," "a seat at the table." In reality, the experience didn't reflect that at all. Coffee was fine, but the overall experience and handling of a basic situation made it unlikely I'd return. read more

WOW!! I just checked this place out yesterday and it was so good I had to come back again today. Might be coming here many times a week now. It's a spacious, clean, and comfortable space to hang out with friends or co-workers. The food options are super tasty, yesterday I had a breakfast burrito and today I had a ham and cheese croissant...both were excellent! The coffee is FANTASTIC!! Yesterday I tried an americano and the espresso is smooth and creamy, the baristas know what they are doing. Today I opted just to try the drip coffee to see how the light roast is and it was another slam dunk!! The owner (I assume) remembered us and were very welcoming and helpful.
