Lucky me, 2nd visit to Santa Rosa in a couple weeks & stopping in Aroma Roasters again! My fav coffee shop in the area

More like a 3.5/5 stars. Met up with a friend here and grabbed a cappuccino w/ half caffeine. Menu seems really big and the pastries look all right. I like the space though and they have a variety of beans lined on the wall. Drink was all right, the cafe being in railroad square makes finding parking a bit of a pain. Maybe I'll try it again to see how the specialty drinks are!

My wife and I visited on a Thursday morning @ 10:15am and there was a few open tables. They have a few 2 person tables outside. Service was extremely fast. My wife ordered a hot chocolate and oatmeal with raisins and banana slices. Mrs said the hot chocolate and oatmeal was excellent. My black coffee was served hot and full of taste. I ordered avocado toast. It was tasty but in a very large thick roll slices. It was very fresh but was to much bread and would have been better on sourdough slices or such. I would visit again but not order the avocado toast.

First time here as we were visiting family in the area. Nice space, limited indoor seating. Outdoor seating but too cold at the time to go there. Everyone was friendly. Coffee and food were good. Nice selection. Mishaps with our drink order and they remade without question. Nice place just nothing that stood out for 5 stars. We would definitely revisit

I had been a regular at Aromas since I was in college and it was nice to circle back during a visit to friends. Aromas sort of has everything, snacks, ice cream, roaster on site and a variety of whole beans. No options for celiac aside from one sad looking gluten free cookie. I skipped it. But there are plenty of coffee items to enjoy. I used to get those chai milkshakes all the time! I bought a bag of Amanda's blend to try in my espresso machine. There is a lot of seating and it does get packed. So try your luck. Aromas is a classic Santa Rose staple. Definitely go there.

We stopped in for coffee and breakfast. Coffee came out immediately and was great. Food took a while, especially just for a toasted sandwich that was already made. Food was solid, nothing incredibly special but not bad. Coffee tasted good. Service was friendly and efficient.

L to R: Vietnamese iced coffee and Mexican mocha with almond milk

This place is a pretty vibey place, it was almost full but they had seating on the front and outside. We didn't have to wait very long for our drinks and food, maybe 10 min. I got a Mexican mocha and bacon breakfast burrito and the mocha pretty good, not too sweet but also kind of thick. The burrito was good but could use some salt. The salsa they give you on the side was too spicy for me but my husband used it all. The breakfast burritos are premade so you can't make any changes. My husband got a Vietnamese coffee which he enjoyed, it had a little bit of a smokiness to it. The menu here is really big so there are plenty of options for everyone and they have a pastry case full of cakes, bars, cookies, and muffins that all looked really good.

Delicious avocado toast, plenty of coffee and tea options to choose from. Plenty of bakery items and lunch too. Staff is friendly. The place gets very busy in the mornings and on weekends so sometimes it's tricky to find a spot to sit. No table service, you order at the counter and pay, they'll shout your name when it's ready.

While staying in town, at the Hotel La Rose, this café was right across the street, so we came here each morning. The first morning I tried their bacon, egg, and cheese on ciabatta along with a Mexican Mocha. The sandwich was decent, though it had a slight burnt flavor, I didn't see anything burned in it. The coffee was nice, with a little spice to it. I came back two more times for basic coffee and those were pretty good. They roast their own beans here, which is pretty impressive. Service was decent, not great. They do get quite busy, as each time we walked by there were lots of folks inside... definitely a popular place with the locals.

Friendly helpers, delicious cold beverages and nice atmosphere. Spent the day walking around downtown and this was a nice break!

Cute spot but they charge 2.00 for a stash of plant milk. A americano is typically 3.50, this one costs $7 before tip. What a bummer.

I ordered the blueberry scone (so delicious, def a new FAV) and it's from Costex bakery in Healdsburg. I ordered a cappuccino, I received a latte. Little disappointing, but I didn't complain, it was definitely a good latte. I was looking forward to a nice foamy cappuccino. No biggie. I definitely recommend anyone to check them out. It's got bar seating too! There's also some board games if you want something to play with friends over drinks. Ordered a 12oz matcha latte with almond milk ($7) and opted to have it unsweetened. Overall smooth but not too strong, and a tiny bit sweet probably from whatever almond milk they use! I like mine a bit stronger and it's not the best I've had but decent! "For here" mugs are always a plus in my book too. Brew is unique that it doubles as a cozy bar too once the late afternoon rolls around. They've got interesting events happening throughout the month posted on their sign. Some of their food and pastries are sourced from local Red Bird Bakery and Village Bakery too if you're hungry! Parking might suck, you could find street parking maybe on 8th St or if you're early you could park by the meters for free before 9AM. There's a $1/hr parking garage right nearby but if there's nothing, best to park at SR Plaza for free and make the 5min walk over. I really like the vibes of Brew and wanna come back for a happy hour one day! It's nice to see a very queer friendly cafe/bar rolled into one!

They are very forward about their fierce advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights with rainbow flags everywhere. I am here for it! Let's talk about the food and drinks! First, I come here semi-regularly and I am a huge fan of their breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich! My other favorite food item is not on their regular menu anymore, but I LOVE when they do their baked oatmeal. Their coffee is great here, which is from Ritual Roaster in San Francisco. If you come here in the Fall, their seasonal Pumpkin Latte is my favorite Pumpkin Spice latte in the area. So good! They also have a great selection of locally brewed beers, but I've never actually come here at any other time besides morning. They host lots of fun events and have live music and trivia nights. A true, community establishment! The service is friendly. They know their regulars and they are knowledgeable about their food and drinks. I like the inside cafe, but I almost always sit outside in their large, parklet. This parklet was established during Covid times, and for awhile it was taken down, but thankfully it's back! If you haven't checked out Brew then you definitely should! Come and support them and their progressive causes!
