I loved this place! So awesome to see an affordable, local coffee spot in a tiny town like Forestville. While there is nowhere to sit here in Roasters Espresso bar, this place does offer great espresso and drip coffee options as well as a beautifully stocked donut and pastry case. Super chill vibes when we visited on a Saturday morning. The staff were friendly and gave off good vibes during our visit. The highlights of our order were definitely the scrumptious donuts and the decaf drip. It's not often you can find decaf on drip, but Roasters has all kinds of drip options to choose from. If you need quick, good and easy then here you go. Perfect for on the way to drop the kids at school. They have a fresh case of donuts and cookies daily. You can get just about any coffee drink you can think of and i think the longest ive ever experienced was 4mins. The staff is cool and peppy no matter how early it is and serve with a smile!. read more

I love visiting this coffee shop every time I'm in Forestville for a morning run. The coffee is wonderful and the service is always friendly and efficient; even when there's a long line, the wait is never long. I love the Horchata latte as it's a rare find and a wonderful treat. Really great coffee in the little town of Forestville. Just exploring and stopped here for coffee. My daughter said that the vanilla latte was the best that she has ever had. I had a regular coffee that I enjoyed. A few stools outside plus a park right next door. Parking was ample but we were there in a Sunday so I'm not sure what it's like in a weekday. Still my go-to! But I do have to admit, the quality has become inconsistent. Some baristas who have been around for many years are phenomenal and the beans are still excellent. At least a couple of the baristas, though, just clearly aren't that interested in coffee or community. I've even stopped for a mid-day cup and found one with a friend visiting behind the counter and they could barely bother to hide annoyance that I interrupted their visit. I'm here with this update because I'd hate for someone to choose Roasters based on my review from a decade ago. If you're in Forestville, Roasters IS it, but if you're headed to Sebastopol, better options exist. read more

Such an authentic small town spot. When you find a place that's heavily frequented by the locals, you know you've found something special. Had a delicious white mocha that was rich and flavorful. Also enjoyed a maple donut, which I believe was baked locally. My partner had the cold brew, an avid Starbucks fan, who couldn't help but admit that it was way better than his usual morning corporate coffee. Service was quick, prompt, and friendly. 3.5 stars Friendly local roaster with a good selection of roasts, as well as espresso drinks made to order. I've been in here a number of times and had consistently terrible experiences. all 3 baristas who have made me drinks either take ridiculous amount of time to make my drink (we're talking 15 minutes start to finish) or they just forget about my drink entirely. While one male barista was quite friendly, all others have been snobby and rude. On top of that, drinks are EXTREMELY overpriced almost as overpriced as the low quality art they sell. There is absolutely no way I can rationalize setting foot in there again. GO TO TINY TOWN INSTEAD for a family-run business with the kindest employees, the fastest service, and reasonable prices (you can also get real food, unlike at roasters). Ok, it is confusing to have two locations in one area; here is what I have that was meant for the bar: Best quality of cold brew I ever have; better than Acre, four Bertram, blue bottle, or velvet! If you are into intense and strong ice coffee in the summer, here is your go to place. Its world famous iced coffee is an extraordinary summer time sweet drink, sweet and creamy, if you are visiting the winery in the area and just want something to chill. Cool little hole-in-the-wall coffee place. Set in a small shopping center with good parking. Friendly, quick service. Pretty diverse organic coffee menu, with soy milk options. Pastries looked fresh baked and delicious, but opted for just coffee. Enjoyed my medium soy vanilla late. Cost around $2.50. It's a small place with seating only for maybe 3 inside, but has a few outdoor tables for about 6 people. Heard they had some great smoothies, will stop in again next time I'm looking for some coffee in Forestville. read more

Poor customer service by the male barista. I bought a croissant that tasted stale. When I expressed my opinion, he didn't bother attending to me. And he never looked up to make contact. For a small shop like this I hoped for better service. As for the croissant, it's from Village Bakery who used to have good pastries. Unfortunately they've been lowering their standards. This croissant left no trace of butter on the napkin. Needless to say it tasted like nothing. Flour, water, yeast, salt, prepurchased baking mix. . If you get your croissant in France, it's yum, yes they still put butter in their baked goods. I work at a school up the street so it's nice to have a little coffee shop so close. They are quick and the coffee is good. The guys that work in here are always really nice. My coworkers love the Mocha Frap. It was DELISH but I got a small stomachache because I can't handle a lot of sugar and dairy. I like the lattes, they are strong and tasty! Inconsistency in drinks and price, along with their habit of not opening on time make this place a last resort. There is only ever one person there, and so if there is a line it takes for ever. At their location at andys the coffee is usually only lukewarm. why bother with these guys when there are so many places serving taylor maid and hardcore espresso (which the Forestville store seems to be trying to emulate) in S. Sebastopol. hopefully their coffee and service picks up soon as it would be nice to have good espresso in Forestville. Untill then I cannot recomend this place with so many other decent locally owned options around. read more
