Apple Fritter, Vanilla Glaze, Meyer Lemon, Beignet
    Megan U.

Freshly made donuts are such a treat, but eating a beignet that was fried to order is why I would return here again. For donuts, they're on the pricier side. The apple fritter ran us around $9 which was just not worth it to me. By comparison, the beignets were $8 for three and suited my preferences in better in terms texture and sweetness. The apple fritter was very sweet and dense, whereas the beignets were fluffy and lightly sweetened by the powdered sugar. I enjoyed the seasonal Meyer lemon flavor, and the vanilla glaze was delicious as well -- hard to go wrong with a classic. There was plenty of parking in the area across the street by the park on the day we visited, and there are two tables inside so we were able to eat our donuts right after they were made. The people who worked there were also really nice.

So hard to choose - I wanted one of everything! Settled on a chocolate glaze, the seasonal lemon glaze, and the apple fritter. They were all SO good.

This is a relatively new place, When we arrived, I didn't realize that they make each doughnut fresh as soon as you've chosen the ones you want. It doesn't take much time, which is excellent. You get a fresh, warm donut. All I can say is you got me there, and I may not stop coming, The orange cranberry glaze was my absolute favorite. I thought would love the chocolate, but still very, very good. The ambience nice, what's cool is that you can really see everything. When they're making the donuts, sort of behind the scenes, through glass windows, service is good, it's fast, you can't beat it. The donuts I bought were delicious, it's just a cute little place, everybody seems very excited about it, and all I can say is I was very enthusiastic about getting a fresh, hot doughnut. What's not to love here? I Gotta love it. Maybe I'll see you there. Cheers, my friends SYOY 11/23/25

3 words. Freshly fried donuts. Need I say more? This place makes your donuts to order and now I'm ruined for other donuts. We were taking a stroll around Healdsburg plaza and just happened to come upon this place. The Gravenstein apple cider donut was calling my name. I love that they even specify the type of apple. What donut place does that?! A group of us all walked in. Easy to order. Friendly service. Minimal wait for the donuts and they came out piping hot. Definitely tests your patience as I had to wait a little bit before it cooled down enough to eat. Donuts were light and airy and the flavors lived up to their names. Also couldn't resist the beignet seeing it on the menu and that also did not disappoint. I can't have donuts without coffee and their latte was the perfect foil to the sweet although honestly nothing I tried was "too sweet." They have a daily deal where you can get a vanilla glaze donut and drip coffee for $7. What a perfect treat! Very minimal seating inside but there were some tables and chairs outside. Must stop when in Healdsburg if you're a donut fan!

    Beignets so so good

Seriously who doesn't like a warm made to order donut. Jessica was super informative about our options. We had the cranberry seasonal glazed, chocolate glazed and ordered beignets for the winery staff we were heading to next. The donuts are so good and not too sweet. You have to try them out if you are in healdsburg!

PRICEY but.. I think it might of been the best beignet I've had. We also tried the salted brown butter (would get again) , vanilla glaze (maybe), chocolate (probably not). Not a place We will eat up every weekend but a warm donut here and there is definitely a win for the town.

Dutch Door Donuts in Healdsburg -- Where Decadence Meets Freshness Okay, hear me out... these are not your grab-a-dozen, office-breakroom kind of donuts. Dutch Door Donuts is in a league of its own. Each donut is handmade and made-to-order, so when you take that first bite it's still warm, pillowy, and melt-in-your-mouth fresh. The flavors are rich, indulgent, and absolutely worth the wait (and the price). Think of it like this... you've spent $5 on a stale croissant at Starbucks before... so trust me, you can treat yourself to a donut masterpiece that tastes like heaven itself. These aren't everyday donuts, they're an experience. Your taste buds will thank you, your diet might not, and honestly? You won't care. Don't mock it until you try it. You've heard 'don't judge a book by its cover?' Once you try them, you'll never look at a grocery store donut the same way again!

Late night donut? They got you! I love that they are open late to satisfy a sweet tooth. I just got a chocolate this time, but I do like to try their seasonal ones too. My favorite was the apple cider donut. I will have this place as a pit stop when I'm Healdsburg. I won't be able to say no to fresh to made donuts! --- when ordering late night, you have to order on the QR menu.

Apple fritter and OMG can't remember but it was also amazing!

Yummy!!!! Everything was absolutely delicious, especially their amazing beignets and apple fritters! Service was excellent and fast. The little restaurant in the heart of Healdsburg was cutely decorated with a casual but modern feel. A must try when visiting!

Everything we ordered was exceptional. The Veggie Quiche was thicker than a textbook, custardy and light. I ordered a Marzipan Berry Scone for a friend that I took home and they loved it. There's plenty of seating and four of us chatted forever. The acoustics are great, there are water pitchers to stay hydrated, and if I lived here this would be a favorite spot no contest. My only regret is that I didn't leave with a Challah. Tip these beautiful beloved bakers well. And stop complaining about excellence.

When you walk in, there is a lot of open space and the inside felt comfortable. There was an open and flowing environment. That was great! So, where did it go wrong? The prices were just sky rocketed into another dimension. $7 a muffin and $7 a scone. I seem to have much better luck at the Farmers Market for less. I get it, there is a fancy building that needs to be paid for. Don't come here for dairy free option if you're looking for something in the sweet and savory department. There are GF options but those are still rittled and laced with butter and dairy. Like, bread is your only choice if you're dairy free. The gentlemen that helped me told me to get a loaf of bread. So I did. $12. I went with the Rosemary, olive oil and sea salt focaccia bread. The good news is, it was nice and soft like an Air b n b pillow. The bad news is, it had more salt than the ocean. With copious amounts of olive oil saturated the bag before I left the parking lot (see attached pic). My husband was not a fan either and we left the loaf of bread out for the pigeons.

I've walked by many times and a friend finally took me in - she told me that many of the restaurants in Healdsburg use teas from Russian River Tea Company. My friend has tried many of the loose leaf teas offered. I really liked the one we tried - we had it iced - and now I'm forgetting the name...was it Tropical Breeze, or Island Breeze, or something to do with Hawaii? I'll have to return and report back. There's a lot packed into the small space. They offer tea towels, tea pots, insulated mugs, local chocolates, some clothing items, and more. Parking can be challenging but you will find a spot if you don't mind walking. It was fun to stroll down the blocks and see the various shops and restaurants along the way. I almost missed the tea shop! It is a tiny storefront next to an art gallery and I entered the gallery by mistake. The shop itself is tiny but organized. The lady working there told us that we could smell the teas as there were little jars above each package of tea. She explained how the teas were organized by herbal, black, green, and a few white teas. The loose teas are already packaged and ready for purchase. They come in 50 gram size (little less than 2 ounces). The majority were blends with the ingredients and price listed on the front of each package. They sell individual tea samplers too if you want to just try a cup. They offer a really nice variety. There are lots of cute gift items and chocolates too. While we were there, several groups of people came in to buy and quickly left. They must know which flavors they like. A darling place to visit with friends and family.
