I took the kids here, we waited for the buffet to be stocked for 30 minutes before we even had a chance to eat. Kids enjoyed just being out but CiCi's literally hands down in Denton destroys DoubleDave's read more

The "All Day Buffet" is just all you can eat pizza and salad. Not really a buffet. But! The pizza is good.

Really good pizza buffet! Good buffets are hard to come by these days and while the inside could be renovated they actually have good pizza and a lot of variety during buffet hours. The employees were all friendly and there was always pizza up at the buffet. read more

Never EVER eat here. Food is cold and after 20 minutes still no hot pizza. Manager was a jerk who refused to refund us. AVOID

The only buffet I would go to!! Reasonable prices and great food quality Friendly staff A+ read more

Apparently when you order 16 boneless wings in mild sauce online, means you don't get any sauce on them....according to Maria at Double Daves. It tells the kitchen not to put sauce on them. Sauce didn't even come on the side! read more

Buffet is very slow to keep the customer supplied with fresh pizza. The pizza that is out is not kept warm. A manager would be a good idea.

If you're going to do a pizza buffet, do DoubleDave's. And as far as pizza buffets are concerned, DoubleDave's is the best for quality of food and price. It's a totally chill atmosphere and there are some TV's to keep you entertained (they normally have ESPN playing). Last time I went the cost of a buffet was $6. They sell beer also, but i've never gotten it. read more

It's been over a year since we've come back to Double Dave's , the service is terrible , the buffet is empty with only a few tables in here and a lady actually my had to ask for pizza , of the 4 tables in here the guy gave my food to the wrong table, my husbands food came out 10 minutes before mine and the 30 minutes we where waiting for food only 2 more pizzas made it to the buffet.. read more

Really terrible pizza. I know this is a short review, but what else can I say? They're a pizza place and the pizza was awful. Period.

6 o'clock on Sunday night went to double Daves to relax but that didn't happen. Little children running in circles screaming and hollering unattended by table full of mothers who could care less who are evidently enjoying their meal. What gets me is one child was evidently the managers as they were talking about his dad's office. Love children but I would never let Mine behave in such a manner in a public place. Kids are going to do what you will let them but I believe it's also staff who should tell children not to run and scream through the store where other people are eating. Will have to rethink going back there. read more

Great pizza for the price! Loved the philly cheesteak pizza! Buffet all day, great atmosphere overall! Its great

Outstanding pizza buffet! Always good quality food for the $7.99 price. We've eaten here about 20 times over the past year and it never disappoints. Tonight about 20 people came in at once and wiped out the buffet, but within 10 minutes it was filled up with fresh, hot, delicious pizza!! read more

I just ate at this place for the first time ever and I am a fan!! When we first got there, the pizza that was on the buffet wasn't very hot, but it was still tasty. We did have to wait a little while for more pizza to be brought out, but when it was, it was deeeeelicious! The Philly Cheesesteak bread roll and Alfredo cheese pizza were my most favorites!! Their supreme is excellent, too. The atmosphere was great and I loved the layout of the building. There are TVs in every direction, so no matter where you sit, you're bound to have a TV to watch sports on. I do not live in Denton, but anytime I come here, I will be sure to stop at DoubleDave's for some very yummy pizza!! read more

Horrible! We waited to be greeted and pay for food for 5 minutes. Said hello, lady came out said hold on and kept putting up plates. The girl in the lobby sweeping just looked at us and kept sweeping. We walked out. Had the employees acknowledged us and been friendly with a smile and I'll be right with you we would have stayed. We understand they are short staffed and are hiring but, there is no excuse for rudeness. Management needs to hire a whole new crew or do some training. Won't be back. By the time your "lady" came out and said anything we had already been waiting nearly 5 minutes. Check your cameras. read more

I'm never big on buffets but this's probably the betterest pizza buffet in Denton. The price is higher than it used to be but so is cicis and that's no good, this's better than cici's. They're willing to accommodate whatever pizza you request and really this's always had decent customer service when I've gone. I do wish they had something other than all kinds of retarded sports stuff on the tv's though. Tom & Jerry, old school mickey mouse, something... Anywho if you're craving pizza buffet I'd say go here read more

Was surprised that I found an all you could eat pizza buffet ! Was out doing errands on this side of town and I live in Carrollton. I was pleased with the freshness of the food and every about 15 minutes they'd bring fresh pizza ! Also their desert pizza is very good and kids under 5 eat free which is always a plus ! It's $7.99 for a lunch buffet I believe and $2 for a fountain drink + tax so about $23 was really awesome !!! I'll be back ! read more

Sad really it was good at one time but now the place is dirty pizza is left too long on the counter I was hoping with the new addition it was going to give the the drive to be like they were back in the good old day but sadly no read more

I Love, Love, Love Double Dave's Pizza! That being said, I love the ones in College Station where they began. The chains up here don't make enough Peperoni rolls. the pan on the buffet is empty most of the time... Hey Owner! Realize that everyone is waiting for you to refill the Peperoni roll pan. My sons and I go and you put 6 or 8 rolls in the pan, and we scarf them up. The other patrons are saying WTF! Please keep the Peperoni Rolls going. People will eat the other pizzas that you put out, but what they really are waiting on in the Peperoni Rolls. Don't be stingy! I am addicted to Peperoni Rolls dipped in Ranch dressing! read more

Definitely won't return. I wouldn't recommend it if you like buffets. Staff seems a little down and weren't passing our smiles. If you can find a Pizza Hut that still does buffets it might be a better option. If you're a vegetarian or like vegetable based pizzas they've got one on the buffet other than the cheese everything else has meat. I found myself going back for 2nd helpings at the salad bar instead to make sure I got my money's worth. If the owner or corporate offices read this then you guys have a ways to go. It seems the yelp reviews confirm it. read more

On an impulse for change I stopped in and ordered a 15 inch crispy pizza with 4 toppings. I took it home less than 5 minute drive proceeded to serve the pizza. This was the worst pizza I've ever had. The crust if you can call it that was limp and soggy. read more

Keep going if you're looking for good pizza...we had the lunch buffet and we expected to have hot pizza. Pizza was hard, dry and apparently it sat there for a while before we ate. Will not stop here again. I have eaten at other Double Dave's locations and this was subpar. Wish I could get my money back! read more

We stopped here with 4 hungry teens. The pizza was delicious, hot and so many choices. My favorites were the buffalo chicken, the 3 meat and the chocolate chip. We will be back. read more

I went here based off the reviews for the first time. Sorry to say I didn't like the pizza although it looked good the pepperoni tasted weird. I don't think I will go there again. My hubby and boys felt the same. read more

Horrible pizza rolls. If that's what you want to call them. One piece of pepperoni and a bit of cheese in three of the rolls. Saddest quality I have ever experienced. Might as well have ordered dough. They should be ashamed of selling that crap to the customer and not expecting a poor review. We bought them for lunch and were hoping for a great product. Will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone! Can I do less than one star? read more

Ok pizza.. Basically a more expensive cici's. I think i was let down because there was a double daves by my old house and it was new, clean and nice with a bigger selection. I had higher hopes than this one delivered. My boys wanted pizza and they dont care so if theyre happy i can live with it. read more

Ran across this place this summer, best pizza buffet. The pizza is flavorful and tasty melts in your mouth. It's a good place to bring family, the lunch hour is great. The host will always bring hot pizza out once the trays are done. Please try the philly cheese melt and cheeseburger pizza. Oh and the price is affordable 7$. Please try it read more

Full disclosure: Pizza is my favorite food. As of June 2017, I have been to this location twice. Ever since graduating college at A&M, I've been trying different Double Dave's that are closer than College Station. I enjoyed eating here. If you are a fan of Cici's Pizza Buffets or think it could be better, try this place. They have a salad bar, pizzas, pizza rolls and desserts. Each month they have a speciality pizza that is unique and I always enjoy trying them. read more

Frozen Digiorno is better than double daves pizza. Ive been there plenty of times, and do not know why I keep going back. The last two times I have gone to "give it a chance". I was convinced it would get better, that maybe I went at an "odd" time for a buffet. The pizza is never stocked and it is cold. The salad bar is good and always stocked. When I go there I get a big salad. read more

This place is great! Has an awesome all you can eat pizza, but the quality is over 9000 times better than cicies.

I didn't think it was possible to get worse ingredients than CI CI s pizza. Until I ate at double Dave's.. At least CI cis is cheap but at 10 bucks your going to be disappointed. Everything tastes cheap. The deserts were a total disaster. Like a blob of sweet thrown into cheap dough. They really need a chef to help with flavor pallets.. How about chocolate cinnamon powder sugar icing pizza! Stuffed with some form of cheap red goop! Yea that's here.. read more

Almost a year to the day and the food here is not any better. Better than Cici'c but there is a Pizza Inn within a block that has fresher pizza, a pasta option and nicer salad bar. Staff (2 people) was busy in the back when I got there so had to wait for them to take my money. If ti was not for the American Airlines points I'm getting, would not have gone in. read more

Hubby brought the pizza from here last weekend and boy, it was a wonderful surprise. First of all, I don't eat pizza much and hardly visit chain pizzeria - say twice every decade? I will eat pizza from local Italian or fine-dining joints and I prefer to eat thin crust pizzas. My husband and my stepson love pizza so I am eating more pizzas these days. Still, I am very particular about the ingredients and the pizzas. Do I know a good pizza from a bad one? Probably not. But I have my fair shares of locally (Italian) owned and high end Italian restaurants. We have pizza often now and this is THE BEST chain pizza joint I ever had. I thoroughly enjoy DoubleDave's Pizza. We ordered thin crust with half cheese and have veggies. I believed my husband custom ordered our pizza. The pizza was wonderfully thin and had a nice char on the bottom - yet it standed when a slice is picked up. Veggies were perfectly cook and the pizza is crisped and flavorful. My stepson said this is his favorite pizza place now (oh, and he eats pizza all the time). This place blows all the other joints away by far. Pizza to go was a bit expensive; I think it was around $11. read more

We just moved here from Florida and was looking for a Great tasting pizza place.....well this is definitely the best place I have been by far in Denton. I can order a pizza any way I want it and they will cook it gladly even with cheddar cheese in place of mozzarella. I know breaking all the pizza rules. Lol my family loves the always freshly stocked pizza buffet. Great food. I suggest this fantastic pizza place to anyone who enjoys wonderful buffets & specialty pizzas!! read more

I like the fact that I was able to receive text messages to see what was going on with my food. Although the it took a bit longer for my food to be deliver I was very satisfied. It was easy to order online too. Also the delivery person was really sweet too. read more

Pizza party served at Toyota Denton & Honda Denton! Right on time and really good. Would highly recommend .

I wouldn't waste time here. It's a buffet with a salad bar but it's not very good. Cleanliness and staff weren't a problem I just didn't like the food. I think Pizza Hut is better (and really, who prefers Pizza Hut??). Theres a Papa Murphy's down the road that I highly recommend! read more

Great buffet when we want to sit down for pizza. We order pepperoni rolls super often! They're a little pricey but so worth it. We get ranch and marinara and love how the reheat. Our order is always ready quickly and the workers are so kind! read more

They have a small buffet, but the pizza they put out varies immensely. My only complaint is that I wish the buffet area was a bit bigger. If u go in to eat they may not have the piazza that u like available. Now of course you can always request and they'll bring it to you. The pasta and salad bar are really good tho. I like this place better than Cici's or Pizza Inn! read more
