I haven't had Schlotzsky's in a while and decided to stop here for dinner. The parking at this location is limited. Once inside the restaurant was clean. There were two tables of patrons and three people waiting for their food. The employee was friendly and prompt. We ordered a medium one of the original and the original with turkey sandwiches. We had one salt and vinegar chip and barbecue chip. We decided on the unsweet tea and strawberry lemonade which was delicious. The price of the meal was between $20-25. The sandwich had great flavor and was full of meat. I would definitely return to this restaurant or recommend to others. read more

if you care for quality, go elsewhere because you are paying a pretty penny for food that's 0% fresh guaranteed. They use bread that was baked 2 days before even though it's supposed to be freshly baked that morning. If the bread has white spots on it, that means it's no good. They always have white spots on them. They leave cheesed bread at room temperature all day long. They don't wear hair nets. Loads of flies everywhere and their drink machine looks like it's growing something on the ice spout. Also? Not a bad place at all. We did delivery from there in a large roast beef and cheese sandwich. Warning: it's HUGE. It's definitely large enough to split with someone else who is hungry. Service was fast. The sandwich was very fresh. The sourdough didn't get soggy even after it was delivered. It was not sloppily put together. Just hot and fresh. It's hard during a pandemic do have something delivered and hope it's fresh by the time it gets to you but this was. No complaint and would recommend this location to anyone. We have frequented this location for years. The food is consistently good and the service is adequate. The parking lot is tight, tighter now with the construction on University. It's hard to justify spending $6-7 on a medium sandwich when it doesn't come with chips and a drink. I would find that price more acceptable as a combo. My husband always gets the large and it is indeed huge, they have to put it into a Styrofoam container to hold it all. Our previous visit was a month ago and we went this weekend; in that time, they have raised the price of a large from $11 to $12. I tried to order a cup of soup which has never been a problem before but at this location this time they told me they only have bowls which are over $4. I find the ingredients when we go have always been fresh and tasty and we always leave satisfied. However, when I compare the menu to a year or two ago when I could get a combo instead of individually ordering each item and had an option of ordering a cup of soup instead of a bowl, I am bothered by the value of the price point. It is what it is though. If you are looking for a better tasting sandwich and soup than at a Subway and a place that also offers pizza and pasta, this is a good place to try. If you are looking for a quick lunch at a drive thru that has a cheap, value menu, this isn't the spot. That being said, if you are wanting a filling lunch I can recommend it on the quality of the food alone. read more

I came inside for an early dinner with a friend after a long day of shopping yesterday. First time visit to this location. The parking and drive through situations here are terrible!! The designers had to be smoking crack during the planning stages. I wanted to review so I could apologize for my extremely rude companion. She ordered a pastrami sandwich and requested it not be on rye. The order taker must have heard "on rye" and brought her sandwich to our table. You would have thought it was the end of the world for her. I told her after the employee left that she was really mean and that her sandwich can simply be re-made, my GOSH! She did apologize but I'm sure the employee was put off by this time and didn't acknowledge her. I would have done the same thing. I've been going to the Schlotzsky's for years, but I usually don't think about writing a review, so now I will. Anyways this Schlotzsky's has the weirdest parking lot but it's usually pretty full. When you walk in it really has a nice setup and even a spot for someone who wants to plug in their laptop and study. The cashier was super helpful with us while we were ordering. My mother got the small original with jalapeños and I ordered the BBQ Chicken & Jalapeño pizza (yummm!!) we chose a booth and got our drinks filled and got our napkins and sauce. And no more than 3 minutes later they were bringing out our order. Which was super fast. So I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and noticed how clean and stocked it was, which is always a plus in my book. Also noticed was how clean the tables, drink station, as well as floors were, especially good knowing that we came after lunch rush. I am always impressed with this location. We are huge Schlotzsky's fans but this specific location is disappointing every time. I always get the Original because it's the perfect combo of ingredients on a sandwich in my opinion. Tonight the lettuce was not the type that typically comes on their sandwiches (it was purple and wilted) and my sandwich was missing several ingredients. I ordered the deluxe Original and instead of double meat it had less meat than what typically comes on a regular Original - so we paid extra for nothing. My order is always incorrect, the soup is always cold, and it takes forever to get your food even when they are slow. We will not be going back to this location. read more

I came in yesterday with a large (and slightly complicated) order. The young woman who took my order was a new employee, so she got help, and my order came out. I got home and my order was completely wrong. I went back, and the same young woman was there. I explained what had happened, and she and her manager replaced my entire order with no hassle at all! I have come here for the past 6 months no problems, reasonable service. Tonight I was in the drive thru two times for a total of one hour. The girl working the window was beyond rude, eyes rolled window slammed in my face as she gives me the wrong order. I call and am told by the manager to sit in the drive thru another 30 minutes to receive my 2 sandwiches I had already waited on. Again at the window no apologies just another bag thrown into my car and the window slammed. I will never be back to this location. Not only did they waste my time, but no employee could even say they were sorry. I'm a semi-regular customer/sandwich lover who usually goes through the drive thru on my lunch break. I decided to stray from my usual veggie pizza and get the new Caprese Ciabata Sandwich. I asked Chris, who is my usual and totally awesome drive thru dude, to list the ingredients for me. "(insert fancy adjective that I can't remember) lettuce, marinated balsamic onions, tomatoes, mozzarella and creamy mayo." At any other deli I would have assumed all the fancy phrasing of the ingredients to be mere puffery, but Schlotzky's has yet to let me down, so I ordered it. I literally exclaimed "Holy God!" after the first bite. It was that good. Just everything was...perfect. The ciabatta wasn't overly chewy. It was perfectly toasted. The toppings were warm--but not "nuked in the microwave" warm. Just enough so that the bread was still warmer than the contects, but barely so. The sauce was divine. And this just so happened to be a few days after I had received some free caprese sandwhiches from The Corner Bakery that were god awful. So tasting it done right left me dewy eyed and filled with hope for humanity. Let me tell you how good this sandwich was: I got balsamic vinaigrette on my white blouse. Not a flying care was given. It was gone before I got back onto 288. I bragged about this sandwich wizardry I had just experienced to my co-workers as if it were my first born child. And I already have one. When I go to bed tonight, I know I will be thinking of this sandwich. Maybe I've gone too far. But I love THIS Schlotzky's. You guys are great. read more

Not pleased with today's experience. Probably should have gone inside but I was hot and sweaty from yard work so took the drive thru. Ordered 2 Memorial Day specials and asked for and paid extra for double meat on one. Got home and no double meat. I called they said come back. They already had it made when I got there. With a smile I said thank you I know mistakes happen. I should have checked the sandwich before I drove off. I get home and the genoa salami was burned and again no double meat. My wife and I just laughed. I thought about calling back but I was really hungry and let it go. I did get to keep the first sandwich so I guess we're even. Maybe there's a language barrier. I LOVE their Original and cinnamon rolls. I haven't received bad service, but I haven't received particularly good service either. It's always mediocre at best. What bothers me is how they serve their cinnamon rolls. Every time I order it, I either get a roll with a good amount of icing, but it's rock hard and cold, or a warm one with no icing. It's always a little bit of a bummer to crave a roll, but know something is going to be wrong with it. read more

The first time they didn't even ring in my dine in order, I had to be back at work and ended up not even getting to eat because they only rang in part of the order so he assure me my pizza was on its way...
