Wow, the cashiers are just so friendly and inviting. I have been HOOKED on the Tacos Dorato ever since I tried them. I ordered those and my boyfriend ordered shrimp, egg, and cheese tacos. I also ordered chips and quac for my boyfriend and I, we were able to munch on that till out food came out. They got my tacos out withing minutes of ordering. This place was terrible first off we went to the bathrooms. The floor was sticky, the soap was red and In a cup, the lady at the front was nice but took forever to get our orders. We went and got some dr pepper out the fountain machine and it tasted like straight up toilet water. It was literally clear. The rice is got was a rock and the chicken was cold and soggy. The salad i got had so many tomatoes in it it was purely tomato. read more

This fuzzy's is located in a hotspot near the square and also close to where I work. I've been going to this fuzzy's since 2018 when I finally discovered it from a coworker. The decor is typical of any fuzzy's, it's always clean (bathrooms included). Staff is always friendly. I used to eat here every other Monday with my work crew after a long weekend shift, it's a really nice place to wind down and catch up with friends. My go to food would prob be brisket nachos, shrimp tempura taco, brisket / chicken salad, or chips and queso (as an appetizer if I don't get nachos) and my recent try was the brisket quesadillas, soooo good!!! Food always comes out fairly quickly depending on how busy the place is. But it never disappoints! I will definitely continue coming here for the long haul. read more

Wow this place has fallen from grace! Used to be a great place but the service and quality have diminished to the point of why I see many Fuzzys closing. The service is horrible. Tonight I waited over 35 minutes for tacos and when I voiced my frustration and said the tacos are fucking cold the little short black bald manger said to leave the store. He wasn't putting up with me cussing. While his cooks didn't have gloves on touching food and were not staffed to handle the little business he had. Cooks wearing ear buds and not moving with any sense of urgency. Then the little man had to yell to the manager that was sitting at the bar to come and help I guess he was gonna get me removed. I apologized for using adult language and finally got my food. Only after I became a problem did the manager jump behind the line and started barking orders about food. With the lack of how to de-escalate a situation by apologizing and solving the issue his immediate response was to kick me out. This will be the last time we visit Fuzzy taco. Lots of tacos in Texas that are better. Lots of places with better service and execution. read more

Waited inside for about 10 minutes with no service. Went to register to order but manager couldn't make my margarita because she didn't have the equipment so I went to bar, manager also went but instead of helping out she sat and talked with the regulars. This place has just become sad after all the manager turnovers. I've tried to come back multiple times over the past year, but it consistently gets worse. Last time I ate here the bacon tasted like it was made at 6am and I was ordering at 10pm. Final and last time to give it a try, walked into the bar on weekday around 2pm with no bartender in sight, the entire bar not bussed, and two creepy guys giving the "stare down". Had the most awkward experience this evening. Three of us walked in around 10:45, and they close at midnight. We went to the bar, and one employee was drinking beer at a table and yelled "We're closed." I looked around in confusion, and she yelled again "We're closed!" She had to be tipsy on the job. The other bartender contradicted her and said "We're not closed." We ordered our food, and felt super uncomfortable so we ordered it to go. It took about 20 mins for a burrito and fajita nachos. The nachos are pictured. About 5 pieces of meat. All-in-all, I give it one star for the one bartender at least trying. To all considering late-night tacos, don't do Fuzzy's. read more

This would've been humorous if they didn't charge me for it. I ordered the tempura fish salad at this Denton location. This is my usual meal when I go to Fuzzy's. Now, they've never been generous with the fish they give with the salad but at least it's tempura fish and tastes good. You can see in the picture that they kindly gave me two FISH STICKS and cut them both in half haha. I'm guessing to make it look like more? Well, the fish sticks tastes as you would expect... like card board that had just been removed from the freezer. It's not the end of the world but I thought I'd share. Now, I have another reason why I choose Torchy's over Fuzzy's. Do better Fuzzy's, do better. There's still hope! read more

That is a cashier, not a server, and definitely not someone who should receive a tip, yet the consumers are pushed to assist in their hourly wage because of greedy price gouging employers. Do better. The cashier was wonderful, and probably feels crappy having to look at all of those 0's on the tip selection because you can't pay them enough to live. This isn't a tipping position. Placed a pick up order at this location for a few taco plates to try Fuzzy's for the first time - Was able to try the chicken fajita and steak fajita tacos with potatoes and cilantro rice for sides, as well as an order of chips and queso. Greatly enjoyed the seasoning on the chips, but it was inconsistent throughout the bag (some chips were entirely covered in seasoning and others were entirely plain) In addition, the potatoes and cilantro rice have plenty of room to improve a when it comes to the seasonings used. The tacos themselves were quite juicy but the tortillas were leaning more heavily towards a rubbery consistency and would have benefitted from being cooked longer. read more

Food was great, the music was too loud and it took 4.5 minutes for somebody to come to the register to take order though.

We eat at Fuzzys regularly and find that at all of their locations they always have very good and friendly service .. however the Industrial location downtown DENTON is a different story .. after waiting at the order counter for 7 minutes a guy came out and said just a minute and I will be there to take your order so waiting another 3 min he didn't act like he was in a hurry .. his attitude was terrible I almost didn't want to order as I felt like I was imposing .. he didn't smile .. spoke in monotone and was just blatantly rude.. The food came out and the presentation was great.. the cook here does a nice job .. he is neither friendly or rude.. I will say that I won't come back to this location again as the vibe here is BAD! Just a very uncomfortable feeling and I shouldn't not want to order just because I don't want to deal with the attitude .. The CROSSROADS location is AWESOME! The DENTON location is also GREAT! What does one say about a place after 106 reviews? Tacos are great, burritos are great, Fuzzy's hot sauce is pretty good and same with the habanero sauce. The sides are great, rice and beans, potatoes, refried beans. Decor is straight out of Applebee's, adapt to the locale. Denton high school jerseys, University of North Texas swag and all sorts of metal and neon signage. It's a fun little place and I keep coming back for more. Short and sweet. Enjoy. read more

Ordered off DoorDash. Wrote a review about the order since it was the restaurant's responsibility. They didn't like the 1 star review about the quality of the order. I ordered extra queso cheese and jalapeños and didn't get them. I got charged I said no pico. The queso on my nachos were watered down. They put that on my food. Here is a photo of their response and why it cannot be posted. Apparently they don't like the truth. I've never had a problem before. I do think that this Denton location is probably one of the better ones of their locations that I have been too though. On this visit I got a Mahi-Mahi taco as well as two shrimp tacos. So, after losing my favorite bartender from the Fuzzy's in south Denton, I wound up here. It goes to prove that when you think things can't get any worse, they do. I ordered my regular beer and two breakfast tacos. I got the beer quick enough, but it became apparent that after 20 minutes or so in an empty restaurant that the bartender had never put my order in. I asked him about it and his knee-jerk response was to deny I had told him, i.e. calling me a liar. Which was funny because, a split-second later, he remembered what it was and went to "check on it." Some time later, another staff person brought them over. Did anyone check on me after? Maybe ask if I wanted another beer (my schooner was empty -- and I'd been nursing it, that's how long this all took)? Nope. There wasn't even anyone behind the bar for me to pay. As tempting as it was to just walk out, I crossed the empty restaurant to where my bartender was working the cash register so I could get the hell out and never go back. After being a regular for a year and a half at another Fuzzy's, I'm done with the whole company. Adios. read more

The food is fine at this location. The review is about the employees who insist on parking in front of the restaurant or directly across the street in front of the condos. There are a few trucks (gray Ford dually) that belong to the employees that park for 8-10 hours a day and tie up all the limited parking in the area. I came to this location regularly but won't be anymore. Had a bad experience with bartenders and managers, so I won't be coming there anymore. But their frozen margaritas are good and I do suggest you try one if you haven't. But ​if your ID says 'not for real ID purposes' they will mistake it for a fake ID. When 'real ID' is used as proof of identity for domestic air travels. I didn't select that option when getting my driver's license, and I know they have a right to refuse service to anyone but they NEVER have refused me service before using the SAME ID. They only refused because they thought it was fake. It wasn't a fun experience and I definitely hope they get up to date on the new real ID licenses and what they are. And that if a license says it's 'not for real id purposes' that doesn't mean it's fake. read more

Just ok. I placed a takeout order for my family. The website is terrible and I had a hard time placing the order, but that's not the fault of anyone at this location. The website said my order would be ready at 5:35. I arrived at 5:36 and watched for about 15 minutes while the cook prepared food with his nose sticking out of the top of his mask. Eventually my order was brought out and I got a dismissive excuse-apology from a server. Whatever. My order was mostly correct, though none of the tacos or burritos were labeled and we had to open them and take them apart at home to figure out whose was whose. The chicken in mine was really dry and bland. I've been patronizing this location pretty much since it opened. The quality of fuzzys in general has declined in recent years, but I remain hopeful because I like their queso. I guess it's time to move on. read more

This restaurant is an example of ridiculous inefficiency. So stupid to stand in line to order food and then have to go to the other side of the restaurant and stand in another line of 4 or 5 people to order a margarita. I'm standing in line at the bar and listening to my number being called for my food. If you want to stand in line for 30 minutes, this is a so-so place to eat. The service is horrible though. I love Fuzzy's, from their garlic shredded pork, to their fish tacos to their crawfish tacos. I like the local feel to each of the locations they've added in the past five years. We stopped coming here about a year ago because of the lack of management. They built a bar area and would only occasionally staff it. We sat in the bar for 20 minutes without any one telling us that there was no service. So, we tried again tonight, a year later. Full bar, trivia, bartender. No service at all. 15 minutes sitting in the bar, one server smiled and said hi then disappeared. Bartender never acknowledged us.
