On our recent visit, we ordered the cheese pizza and were surprised to learn that the cheese blend includes provolone. Unfortunately, we are not fans of the sharper flavor, so it was not a good fit for us. That said, we absolutely loved the crust and the way the pizza was cooked. If not for the provolone, it would have been a home run. One area where I think there is room for improvement is pricing. While we understand that costs have gone up, some items felt a bit expensive. For example, I just cannot justify spending $17 on tiramisu. Overall, this is a charming neighborhood restaurant with good food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I am interested to see what the new ownership brings and wish them success as they begin this next chapter.

To be fair, he had ordered the same salad on a previous visit and enjoyed it, so this may have simply been an off night. The bright spot was the manager, who handled the situation professionally. She apologized, offered to make my husband something else, even as a to-go order, and removed the salad from our bill when he declined. We appreciated her response and customer service. Unfortunately, one good interaction isn't enough to outweigh the overall experience. The drinks have never impressed us given the prices, and the food has consistently fallen short of expectations. We truly wanted this to become one of our regular neighborhood spots because of its convenient location, but we've decided it's just not a place we'll be returning to.

Papa Johns has a pizza tracker on the app where you can see what stage your pizza is at. I watch it, and it was always acurate. It did take a bit longer to get to us than usual, but weather conditions were horrible. It arrived piping hot and delicious. The delivery guy apologized for the wait, but I told him with all of my heart thanks for delivering it and please be careful out there driving in this. I did not ever, in any way expect to receive a postcard for a free pizza because of extreme weather. I only hope that my driver was not docked in any way because of it.... He was a Champ!

Always have had great service. The owner Al really does a great job of hearing the customers concerns and taking care of them. The delivery time is almost always quoted within 5 to 10 minutes accuracy. I've only seen them get busier and busier over the last 2 YEARS I have been dining here. The new owner is amazing and has made some great changes that has made the food way better than I was before and he seems to remember every customer that comes in and is just all around a very sweet guy.
