We moved near the Justin Mr. Jim's pizza a few months ago and have had amazing service and excellent pizza on every service. One time when my husband ordered delivery on a Saturday night, he was very surprised to find the owner himself delivering the pizza. He told my husband he likes to get to know his customers. Wow! Tonight I arrived before my pizza was ready and had a wonderful conversation with the owners who went beyond good service to true hospitality while I was there. You really have to work at making a pizza this bad. Crust was too thick and not cooked enough. Sauce was bland and there wasn't much put on anyway. The cheese wasn't legit mozzarella. Ingredients were sketchy as well. Add to that no pizza oven but lame conveyor belt oven. Better off with a decent frozen pizza. read more

I had MrJims.Pizza for the first time tonight! And it wasn't bad! Wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but it certainly wasn't the worst! Thankful for them though because they were like the only pizza place that would deliver to me! And I was craving pizza haha. It was also pretty easy to order online! Which I liked! The best part was my delivery driver though. He was super awesome and friendly! He called me as he was pulling up so I could go out a meet him, very polite and easy to talk to! I can honestly say that after not eating a Mr. Jim's pizza for a multitude numbers of year, i was pleasantly surprised. I got the sticky finger, that has the most toppings and that's what i like. OK, it's not the best i've ever had, but it is good enough to go back and have it again if i'm cravin pizza and it near by. I was driving with my family and decide to eat, the place look like a familiar small business next to another pizza's stores, I love support local business so we go there. Their have a great deals to choose, the ingredients was fresh and natural, the dough was amazing!!! The flavor, the texture!! All!! First off, this place is so dirty and smells like rotten cheese. The staff is so rude and passive aggressive. When I asked for ranch, they gave me one tiny, half full container. Mind you, I ordered 2 whole pizzas. This ranch is not even enough for half a pizza. Really disappointed with the service. NEVER AGAIN. The pizza at Mr Jims is what you would expect. I live fairly close, so it is typically hot. It can be a bit greasy but again, that is what I would expect from Mr. Jims. I do like the peppers on the side and the packets of cheese and peppers they bring. Also, the bread sticks are pretty good. In my experience, they are pretty good at getting the order right. The pizza is sub par, and is always delivered luke warm, and usually piled into one side of the box like it was dropped or tossed on the car floor while driving, as well as long over an hour after ordering (we live less than 10 minutes away from the store...) The third time we got poor food and service we called and complained, they assured us they credited our online account with a free pizza, to please give them one more try. No credit. I grew up on Mr. Jim's pizza, having one right by my childhood home. I definitely think they have kept the same quality as the company has grown, and I still get the same feel from the delivery drivers even 18 years later. The haslet location is located just a few miles from my house, and while located in the country utilizes some pretty awesome features. I can pay for my order using an app on my phone, which earns me points towards future orders with them or other vendors(Cool, Right?!) I definitely like the customizable nature of their pizza's and the ease with which online orders are placed. While this is a corporation, I get the mom and pop feel from each and every store I go to! Definitely worth a try if you have never been. I recommend a Chicken, Bacon, Tomato and Onion with Extra Cheese and Marinara on a Cheddar Garlic crust! read more

Not the first time I have had pizza from here, but it is the only place that delivers around me. So, I tried again. The online delivery order works well except that to get the online special you have to pick up in store. Not picking up adds a $3.00 delivery charge. Interesting, the delivery driver doesn't get that $3 to offset his mileage or vehicle expenses. It goes to the store and he gets a small part of it. Order took a little over an hour to leave the store and was moderately warm when it arrived just 8 miles up the road. Still, the taste was ok. The wings were actually good. SO, will I use it again? Tonight we ordered a pizza, sticks, and salad. The deliverer showed up with only part of the order and asked us if we could pay cash as he had forgotten his credit card machine. He told us he was having a "really bad day" which concerned me and I called the manager to make sure he was ok and he had forgotten the pizza carrier bag on our porch. The deliverer returned with the salad that was missing yet with no dressing for it and we never received the garlic sauces we had paid for. When I called again, the manager said he would give us a credit for the missing sauces, and salad dressings on our next order. I joined Yelp just to write this post. We have tried Mr. Jim's a couple times now. We have gone in to place an order and called in an order ahead of time to pick up. Both times they told us it would be between 20-25 minutes. However, this really means an hour or more. The pizza is ok at best. Nothing spectacular. The prices, including "specials", are much higher than anyone else. Basically, if you want pizza for dinner, order it right after you eat lunch. Very disappointed in Mr. Jim's. We will stick with the black box from Domino's that is actually delivered in 20-25 minutes and tastes great. read more

Best pizza around. There were hiccups with new owners, but just had some and it blows the other pizza out of the water. The pizza is hearty and good, the sauce is flavorful, the crust chewy, and amazing. Just try it. It's real food. It's not a frozen pizza cooked in half a pound of margarine. We always go back to it.
