Pizza Peperoni Rolls - 1 Roll

Great food!! Very clean!! Service was fantastic!! Double Dave's was a go to when I was in college so love that this opened close to my house.

Pizza options

Finally got a chance to try out the new pizza spot in the neighborhood! The dinner buffet had plenty of pizza options and a fully stocked salad bar. You also have a the opportunity to order from the regular menu. My daughter requested wings so we had to order that separately and they were cooked pretty well. Everything appeared nicely kept and clean.

Pizza Lunch!

DOUBLE DAVE'S PIZZAWORKS 07-02-24 We walk in and you can tell it's an older restaurant. The place was clean and staff friendly. Me and my grandson ate lunch here. We had the buffet which had Pizza, Spaghetti with sauce and a Salad Bar. The buffet was pretty well stocked with a good variety. Salad Bar was nice and had many choices. They even had Desert pizzas. Overall it was OK, nothing special. Food was bland. It was busy so many people like it. As with most places you have a hit or miss! Today was a miss for me. Maybe give it another try on down the road.

Chocolate Chip Pizza

Stopped by on the way through Denton for the infamous Chocolate Chip Pizza. It did not disappoint. It was awesome. We ordered both a normal pizza(hamburger and mushroom) and the desert pizza to go. The service was quick, the restrooms clean and the staff were friendly. Best desert pizza around!!!

One of the best, as far as pizza buffets go. Unlike its main competition Cici's, the ingredients are fresh and the quality is apparent.

I've been here twice and neither time have I been disappointed in any. Rather, I've been very…read moreimpressed! Stepping in here legit makes you feel like you are not in Texas any more. Idk if there is an actual portal to NYC installed in the door or what. There are elements of Denton scattered throughout, though, which are pleasant reminders of the unfortunate reality we face upon finishing our sandwiches. The first time I came here was 9pm on a Tuesday. I was craving some cheesecake and the staff was very pleasant in accommodating me. The cheesecake is very good especially for the price. That can be said for all of the food I've had thus far. Today I got the All stops sandwich (and a slice of cheesecake), which was impeccable. The sandwich was so filling I ended up saving half for later! I'm a pretty large guy so that's unusual but a great surprise for me! The service is fast, place is clean enough to eat off the floor. I was surprised it wasn't busier to be frank. The bathrooms were clean, and there was a newspaper above the toilet from a couple days ago. How cool! Overall epic experience and I will probably be a regular.

Oh my gosh this place reminds me of a deli that we used to go to when I lived in California. Which Wich - Weird ordering system that seems strangely unnecessary but the food is good.

Small chains have been popping up alot lately all across the fast casual landscape. Potbelly Subs,…read moreFive Guys, Jersey Mike's and Chipotle. They aren't going to be outnumbering the Taco Bells, Subways and Micky D's of the world but they aren't suppose to. They want to serve you good food in unique and better ways. Which Wich is no different. They are a small chain that gives you many options to choose from and all you need is a red marker, a paper bag and whatever you might be hungering for. Turkey & Chicken, Breakfast, Comforts, Italian, Vegetarian, Ham & Pork are all categories you can choose from and out of those there are some really good options. Meatball, Beef & Whiz and even a pretty decent gyro sandwich. Of course, if you feel like trying something different the Elvis-wich is that. PB, Banana and Bacon with a bit of honey. It's just not fried like the way the King liked it, but it was pretty good, although strips of bacon would have been better that crumbles. Which Wich is popping up all over, and they are definately great for a quick bite. Enjoy.

Plus there was the promise of peanut butter, bananas and bacon. More on that in a bit. After spending some time out in the sun in North Lakes Park just down the road, it was lunchtime. My brother had been here a few times and said the sandwiches were pretty good. Also pretty inexpensive. We were just looking for something quick and this was a short drive from the park. Easy enough decision. The deal here is they have a station at the front where you choose what kind of sandwich you want. Some of the categories you can choose from are Turkey, Ham & Pork, Chicken, Vegetarian, Italian and Comforts. Each of those categories has 5 sandwiches listed within it. You choose a bag from the category of sandwich that you want and mark which sandwich you want on the bag along with what other things you might want with it. Type of bread, cheese, condiments, etc. Confused yet? Go there. I made it sound a lot harder than it is. My brother and I both ended up getting the Elvis Wich. That is what I mentioned above along with honey. Now I eat peanut butter and banana sandwiches fairly regularly, but I've never had one with bacon. Elvis apparently liked his deep fried. That was not the case here. Simply toasted on wheat bread this was a really good sandwich. I paired it with an Oreo shake because I can't resist a milkshake if I see a sign for one. The bacon was chopped up and that was kind of weird. Not sure why they don't do strips here, but that is a minor complaint. They have an interesting thing going on here.
