D.P Dough was first explained to me by the man putting the sign on the door as, "The place for college kids after they leave the bar" and I couldn't think of a better description. The food is fairly decent and one of the best choices if you're up late at night, the hours are generous and extend long into the morning. However service was a scramble as you pick up your order but aren't told anything of this, you can sit for minutes not realizing their ready expecting them to bring it out to you. Not that you'll want to stay in lurid spartan ambiance on their patio furniture or alarmingly red room for long. Though their worst sin isn't the strange decor or messy service, it's the lack of a drink machine or any form of tea. All drinks are served in bottles from the fridge, and unless you Pepsi's sphere of products you're out of luck.

great pizza great service great vibe went to support men's mental health at DP Doughs yesterday it was awesome!

This place might go further downhill soon! I ordered the 1/2 lb Dunkers online and other food and got skimped! I paid $7-8 for only about 6 pieces of chicken. The food is such small portions for the prices. I would not recommend getting some items, specifically the dunkers! Service was lacking at the front counter. I ordered my order 15-20 mins in advance got to the store and they had not started meanwhile no one was in the store. Usually the food taste pretty good though, that's the positive.

I'm not sure how that happens when ordering a combo (I paid $9.31 and the combo was $9.99), but I didn't want to make a fuss since I knew it wasn't the $10.81 with tax (I thought she gave me a student discount or something) and was open to paying whatever difference. I DID chuckle though, thinking, 'they really want this $1.00 and some change,' but I charged it to economy-- and hard times. However, I was told the fries would be an additional $2.59, which is full price. Huh? I attempted to gain understanding, which I'm sure the pressure for the additional money was coming from the man cooking vs. the lady as the messenger, but didn't understand and wasn't paying full price. Fast forward to receiving food, I was told they allowed a 1/2 order of fries since I didn't purchase them. I was done. Chyle... food was terrible. Honey mustard wings were overcooked, tasteless and drowned in sauce. My "free" 1/2 order of fries were cooked too hard for the size. No one in our party was impressed and we felt the food was extremely bland (mind you we ordered a bit of everything). Upon leaving we went straight to Jersey Mike's. This used to be a place we'd frequent if in the area, but it's gone further downhill. It's sad because we love family owned restaurants--but we will not return.

First I'd like to start this review off by saying everyone has a bad day every now and then. I have purchased food at this KFC multiple times in the last couple months and what I've always noticed is they were pretty fast with their service. Also I noticed there is somewhat of a language barrier cuz it seems a lot of people speak Spanish as their primary language and English may not be their first language. That being said I've always been treated friendly and kind and appreciate it as a customer. Today there was a lady in front of me and she was having a bad day. She was not getting the service that she felt like she needed and wanted to express her feelings to the corporate office. At the same time she was trying to run off the customers that were in the building and I felt the staff held their composure very well and did not get disrespectful towards the customer at least while I was there and the lady left the building right before I ordered my food. I placed my order and got service that I needed without any problem or any anger from the employee who had already been in the situation before time. This gets a kudos from me because a lot of people might have had an issue with how the other customer was talking to them and they held their composure very well. I truly appreciate this type of customer service. Because if they had done anything negative I may have never come back to this KFC again and might have been discouraged from going to another KFC and not eating this delicious chicken . Also the new potato wedges are back and they are way better than they were before and they were fantastic before. This is the main reason I was there today . I love the potato wedges and I love their coleslaw . So getting to the food part of the review. It is KFC you're going to get what you're going to get because it's KFC but they do have some phenomenal deals as of 2025 and that's probably one of the reasons I'm back eating at KFC. Because of the deals and the potato wedges. Lol

We ordered wings, tater tots, fried pickles, and steamed shrimp. Four of us had drinks (two cocktails and two draft beers), and everything was fine at first. After finishing our second draft beer, our server suddenly cut us off. A manager came over and said we were drinking "too fast," which made no sense -- no limits were explained and no one was intoxicated. After that entire conversation, the server oddly asked if we wanted a third round, which only made the situation more confusing and unprofessional. Our tater tots didn't come out until we were already leaving, and the wings were extremely small -- about the size of tater tots -- very disappointing for the price. We didn't argue because the experience was already ruined. We've been loyal Hooters customers at the Frisco location for over 25 years and have never been treated this way. The Denton location made us feel uncomfortable and stereotyped, and we will not return. This deserves more than a generic response -- real customer service and accountability matter.
