That's when I started calling around for help. Most places I called were quick to ask what was wrong and immediately quote me a fee just to come out. I was considering one of them until I spoke with Meigs. He was awesome. He told me he offers free quotes over the phone, but he didn't just give me a quote. He actually tried to help me troubleshoot the issue right then and there. He spent about 10 minutes on the phone with me, calmly walking me through step-by-step instructions. He suggested there might be another GFCI hidden somewhere else in the house or even in the garage. The garage hadn't even crossed my mind, but it made sense since the restrooms are closer to that side of the house. Since we don't live at the property, I wasn't there at the time to test it. I told him we'd try it when we were back there later in the week. What I loved about Juan and his team is they are NOT sales people, they're real engineers who are focused on solving your problems and meeting your needs. Juan and his team are true solar experts and know exactly what they are doing - they were great at walking me through key details I should know about the system, how to best take advantage of having a solar system, and did their best to get me scheduled (in spite of multiple difficulties) for installation before the end of the year. Just for context, I've talked to another solar company where clearly they were just about trying to close the deal and sell sell sell, which really turned me off - it felt like they just wanted our money as opposed to wanting to understand what we really needed. Juan's team really shined here by just showing up to be real experts who are thoughtful about what system you need, as opposed to trying to close a deal. Okay, so the convenience of being able to pick out new kitchen appliances and leave with them is…read moreworth something. Center Appliances in Manteca offered just that. We brought our truck, picked out what we wanted, they helped load it up, and my husband installed them that evening. Win! They do offer delivery and install, through a third party they work with. It was fairly reasonable but we didn't want to wait. Also, you can bring your old appliances back and drop them off. They will recycle them for you. Subtracting one star because the sales person was bad talking the brands they don't carry. With a passion. At the end of the day, even if the brands suck, I'm not a fan of talking negative against the competition. "I don't reccomend it." Or "We don't carry XYZ because we only carry products we can stand behind" would be sufficient.
