Okay, so the convenience of being able to pick out new kitchen appliances and leave with them is worth something. Center Appliances in Manteca offered just that. We brought our truck, picked out what we wanted, they helped load it up, and my husband installed them that evening. Win! They do offer delivery and install, through a third party they work with. It was fairly reasonable but we didn't want to wait. Also, you can bring your old appliances back and drop them off. They will recycle them for you. Subtracting one star because the sales person was bad talking the brands they don't carry. With a passion. At the end of the day, even if the brands suck, I'm not a fan of talking negative against the competition. "I don't reccomend it." Or "We don't carry XYZ because we only carry products we can stand behind" would be sufficient. read more

I can only say good things about this store. We have purchased a new dishwasher about 2 years ago and recently a new oven. Today my mother-in-laws refrigerator died (probably yesterday but she told us today). She is 90 and really didn't know how to handle this issue. My wife and I went over figured out what size she needed and headed straight to Center Appliance. Luckily they had the Frig that we needed in stock and since we went in early (and they were not slammed with deliveries today) they were actually able to fit us in for a delivery and install. I want to start this review with stating I replaced all our kitchen appliances with this store about two years ago. I called last week to get our over range microwave replaced and the older gentleman, who I believe is the owner, was extremely unhelpful. I initially asked if they matched prices, which he said they did but when I actually asked for them to match it he wouldn't because he didn't believe the other price that was offered at Best Buy...I told him the offer was available on their website but he refused to check. I was also comparing two different models and they were charging more for the lower model..he had no explanation when I asked how that was possible. I called back later in the day and got completely different information by a different employee. I'm so disappointed. This place is close to my home and I like to support smaller businesses but this place is a headache to work with and has horrible customer services. They give contradicting information and didn't even care to look into the issue. read more

Good selection of name brand appliances. No additional discounts given, but prices are set for a good deal. Delivery incurs an additional fee, of course. Staff are helpful on showroom for product information and assistance with choice selection. We purchased a fridge and range from them and are happy so far. read more

I needed a freezer the same day. I walked in found the freezer I wanted, paid and they helped me load it onto my truck, 30 minutes. I got the freezer for the same price as the major hardware and retail stores. So their prices are competitive and you help out a local business. You have the option to get it the same day if you are capable of moving rather then wait for those shady delivery outfits that the major places use. Only regret, I wish I would had known about this place last month when I bought a refrigerator from H.D online and I regret it. Next time I need any appliance I will look here first. Watch Out For The Installers!!!! 4 stars for Center Appliance, -4 for the installers! My mom bought a dishwasher and the salesman was very nice(thanks Oscar). When the installers showed up, they removed the bottom front panel, looked underneath for awhile and then told my mom it was gonna cost extra (besides the $120) to install. Some random B.S. Luckily she called me and she told them to stop. My brother and I just installed it for her. With no costs at all. read more

I usually go to Lowe's or Home Depot first for larger appliances, but checked out Center Appliance when a range we needed was unavailable elsewhere. They had it, and Victor when above and beyond to make sure all questions were answered (and even brought up answers to questions that I should have asked!). Wow! What an amazing experience we had. My husband and I took my mom to get a new washing machine last weekend. We first tried Home Depot - it took about 30 minutes for an associate to help us, and then we found out the delivery would be about 3 weeks out. We called Center Appliance and they were so courteous and helpful over the phone. We left the Home Depot and headed over. Once we walked in, we were promptly greeted and helped. Not only was the price lower (for the exact model), but the delivery time was only a couple days away. We were sold. Once we paid for the washer, the associate (Cory) patiently explained the features and best way to use the product. We were blown away by their service and attention to detail. 07/30/2022 I think most home owners go to the box hardware store only to find limited to no help with ANY product knowledge. I did the same. I knew what type of stove I wanted, so I came across Center Appliance. They showed me the features and benefits of the stove and I was sold. As in any sale, if you are satisfied with the quality of the product, price is not the concern. I do have to say, Center Appliance pricing is SPOT ON with the box stores. Met the famous Pete from the Tracy location. Very nice man. Approachable, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Since the store didn't have much supply at the time, he recommended we check the Manteca location out. So glad we did. Vic was kind, very knowledgeable, not pushy at all. In fact, he was very helpful and gave my hubby and I time to really look around. He gave us tips and pointers. And oh boy was he very patient with me. Going in I thought I had known what I wanted. BUYER BEWARE. Do not do business with CENTER APPLIANCE . They do not honor there own warranty. I bought a refrigerator from them had problems the next day with it and they would not do anything about it. Told me to call whirlpool they will fix mind u it was the next day after I bought it. Still 1 year later I still have a screwed up fridge and still getting the run around by whirlpool and the repair tech. And the store will not take it back not then or now.So even though they claim to have warranty once they get your money they just send u away and tell u to call the manufacturer. read more

He was very helpful and not pushy. I was in the store looking to replace my under the counter microwave. My 13yo GE Profile finally took a poop, so I was looking to purchase another GE Profile, unfortunately majority of all the microwaved are not manufactured out of the country, majority of them made in Malaysia. Went in bought a new one and since it was an emergency it was delivered and set up within the hour. Yesterday we needed a new washer and dryer. This was the worst experience I have ever had! I bought three major appliances in one day from this dealer. When the stove was installed the installer broke a dozen tiles on my counter top. I waited weeks for them to be repaired. Center Appliance offered no apology for the inconvenience. Now my less than a year old washer is not working. Center would not help me at all. They said I could contact Maytag. Maytag repair people could only give me an appointment four weeks out. So I have been four weeks without a washer. The repair people from Maytag were supposed to be here today. I had to take the day off work. Well, guess what? They won't be here. And, of course, Center Appliance will do nothing. I think I might have called them 5-6 times that morning with questions and then had to call again because I couldn't find a link on their website (user error). Center Appliance is the best, for value, service, quality, price, and delivery. Cory went out of his way to serve our needs and the team at Central followed suit. For instance, Tyler helped Cory with our paperwork after we left and came back, because by then Tyler had another customer. Since we procrastinated, we lost the same day delivery spot, but Cory and Tyler magically made it happen.
