    This review is a little late, but hope to help you all. So, back in early November, our dryer went out. My parents wanted to buy us a new one for a, "early Christmas gift." So, they decided to shop at Direct Appliance on McHenry. They ordered us a brand new Samsung dryer. After they purchased it at the store, Direct Appliance ordered the dryer from Samsung, not from their own warehouse or even from their store. So around about a week and a half, the item arrives from their delivery truck. The item is damaged. A big dent is on the side of the dryer, brand new dryer. The delivery guys informed us, my wife and I they would call the salesman. After they call them, the salesman that my parents ordered from was not there. The individual they spoke to told me, they can credit us $100 if we want to keep the dryer or just return it. Course, we chose to return it and get a replacement. So weeks go by, my parents are calling them to get updates, and they don't have any. They end up telling my parents it will come before Christmas. Yeah right it never did! I started calling them myself and they gave me the run around that it was in transit but they apparently had no updates, and couldn't even track the shipping. How does that even make any sense?? So as it was getting closer to New Years. We canceled the damn order! My parents got their money back and we went to Home Depot over off Carpenter Rd and Blue Gum and ordered the exact same dryer but an LG, same price. It came as guaranteed in one week from the purchase date and it was all in tact! The delivery guys were great and installed everything and took our old one away, no problem. This place, Direct Appliance I can tell you isn't good! They will gaslight you. Also, I have heard from numerous people in Modesto who have used them, that their products are damaged a lot. Go to Home Depot or somewhere else.

    They were great about delivery. Called me ahead of time to let me know they were on there way. Showed up ahead of schedule. Their tracking app is pretty cool. Tells you exactly when they will be at your home. I give up!

    Disappointed in service and communication. Requested to get cabinets assembled. The workers were to…read morearrive between 3 and 5pm and arrived after 6. . Maria did not let me know any updates of when service workers were coming, whether they were late or not. But she can read my messages that were sent to ask for their whereabouts. The workers stayed at my house until 11pm. Workers spoke Spanish with each other at the front door entrance when they met my husband (and mind you, my husband also speaks Spanish). One of the workers said to the other workers that they didn't want to do cabinets. My husband heard them and told them he speaks Spanish. Very awkward. They also made comments about the cabinets we bought, such as , "did you get them from Amazon?". Why does that matter? Them staying late and not feeling motivated to do our cabinets made me feel uncomfortable. On top of that, one of the drawers was messed up. They didn't pay attention to details and misplaced part of the frame of the cabinet. A magnet for a cabinet door was in the way of the drawer section, so drawer wasn't functional and won't close. We didn't notice this until after the workers left. I spoke with Maria via Yelp the day after and she wasn't willing to send a person out to fix it. She instead wanted to send me a magnet to make up for it. Did the cabinets get done? Yes. Did we like the service and communication, and finished product of the work done? No Lastly, Maria wanted to give us a late fee for the service. My husband called her because we felt we weren't given quality service on their end and wanted to see if a tech could be sent out. On top of that, we never received any invoice (her workers said it would be provided next day). Maria didn't disclose where this invoice was, but she did let us know we would get a late fee if the service wasn't covered. She mentioned this after my husband left a voice mail and text message exchange stating we were not satisfied with the service. See pictures attached. I'm not quite sure how this business can get 5 star reviews , and be inconsistent with their customer service. In the end of the text message exchange, Maria then stated that she would provide the service for free but seemed irritated in doing so. So I'm waiting for an invoice that states just that. But currently she refuses to send any invoice for me at the moment. (See pictures attached)

    This company is so terrible and I'm gonna make sure everyone knows too today is March 24, 2023 @…read more6:37pm the guy from Sas Appliances came to my apartment finally after not showing up 2 times and the last time giving my part to another person as I waited from 2pm to 7pm even though it was suppose to be 2pm to 6pm for him to give my part to someone else like oh well and then finally came another day I thought finally he's gonna come fix my refrigerator cuz they gave me a refrigerator with the wrong shelves to begin with which broke and shattered he comes in and says oh it's the wrong part that it was my managers fault when it wasn't she gave him the correct information and I said this is ridiculous this is the third time you have messed up and we waited each time he has the nerve to tell me well I don't think I wanna do the job for u now cuz ur rude I told him first of all I have every right to be having to deal with all of this it's so unprofessional and he walked out and said ya no I'm not gonna do the job and I said well I'm gonna contact his company and he said well I can't fire myself like he owned the company which he doesn't. I can't believe how rude and unprofessional this business is please people don't do any business with this company at all their terrible this isn't the first time he screwed up on my apartments and other ones connected to mine I don't even want to give a star at all but it looks like I have to do at least one
