Best appliance repair hands down!! My washer stopped spinning last Friday. I called another company unfortunately and was told they would show up . They never did. So I waited until Monday when they said they would show up and again they never came out . Such a nightmare. So in desperate need I called volt they were closed so I left a message. They called me 1st thing next morning and was able to come out that day!!! Service charge was $99 I think that's a very reasonable price. Chris does NOT stand by his work and if there is a problem he disappears and leaves you hanging, he has done this with every job that hasn't gone well, he just up and disappears and him and his wife will just ignore your phone calls, Emails and texts. He was out to fix my elderly mother's ice maker twice and still the same issue, she can't afford to pay another tech to start over in fixing her ice make so Chris has quite literally left an elderly woman who just had a heart attack mind you, on her own to have make ice manually. This is not a person any of us would want to do business with, this is repair work and you need to stand behind your work, he runs and hides from it. Made an appointment for one of their technicians to come diagnose an issue with my washer. They did charge a fee to come out and diagnose the problem. It was about $103.46 after taxes and a credit card fee. The technician arrived within their scheduled timeframe, were very respectful, and explained everything in detail including the use of diagrams and physical evidence. We ended up not fixing the washer because the cost to fix was almost as much as a new washer. They didn't try to up sell me or give me the run around and even recommended brands that he trusted that would make a good replacement. 10/10 will use Volt again. read more
