Today i went to this so called business, to buy a used Gas Stove. 1 i found a used stove i like, so i started turning gas knobs on, one broke off. He said it must of been broken by someone. He can fix right away. So i goto another stove that looks good. Now a gas knob is frozen. He rudely says " dont touch anymore knobs, i dont want you breaking anymore knobs" Wow what a rude business owner. I also own a business, and would never talk to a prospective customer like that. So i told him, i will take my business elsewhere. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE . ! I ended up going to Direct Appliance, i bought an open box stove , brand new What a deal, and great service. read more

You can't give a zero rating on here so I will tell you why my family or I will NEVER buy another appliance from Meno's again!! I bought a dryer with a three month warranty and a few days after the warranty expired, so did the dryer. We called Meno's and he came out and turned it on. The dryer ran for three minutes then shut off; just like it was doing. He said, "it's working!" When my daughter said it only runs for a few minutes and the shuts off and makes a horrible noise. He then told my daughter, " run it down ". Well needless to say I will buy another dryer but NOT from Meno's!!! read more

I had recently moved into the area and was recommended to this company for a washer. I purchased the unit and it worked well for the first month. After the second month of use I noticed that while the unit was in use it would stop right before the rinse cycle. The unit has now stopped working completely leaving the unit filled with water. So I called this company back to see if they could assist with repairs or have a contact for repairs, the woman on the phone seem to not know what was going on during the call, she seemed like she was busy that she was not paying full attention to our concerns about the unit not working, she then became more interested in if we were covered under their warranty or not, as we mentioned in the call we did not mind paying for repairs we just want our unit fixed, this woman then disconnects our call to call us back to tell us she can't helps us because we are not under warranty. Overall I think that the way this woman handled our concern was very poor and unfortunate because we would have been back to purchase more appliances for our home, with how we were treated as a paid customer we will not return and would rather pay for a new unit in a different store. read more

Now this is how to run a business. I'm old school and was born/raised in Modesto. The good thing about shopping local (and not big box) is the customer service and care. I'm middle aged and to this day have NEVER purchased a "new" appliance (large one anyhow) due to the price, convenience or lack there of and...well, the newer stuff is getting to fancy/easy to break. Anyhow, went to the store about lunchtime, no pressure at all, but were very friendly. I said I was looking for a fridge and maybe with water and ice in the door. (though I knew those go for like 900-1000 in the stores) They had a half-wall of great / gently used or refurbished fridges all less than 500! I was between two of them, but decided on a black whirlpool side by side with ice in the door. All mine and out the door (and delivered with my old one getting picked up too) for about $350. Wait, what? my basically dream fridge for $350? yep! Delivery was by the end of day (you can't even get that from Big stores! not ever!) He brought it, set it up, showed me where the water filter was (I went that night to get the replacement one) and was in and out/old fridge gone in like 30 minutes...I have an older house so it's not easy moving things in and out but he was cautious and didn't have any issues. There's a 90 day offered on it...but a day later, we're enjoying a great working (lots of space) fridge/freezer with water and ice in the door...AND we now have a solid go-to for appliances! Today my husband was like "does he have dryers? I hate our dryer!" lol so I guess we'll be going back soon. Great service. Highly recommended. Great selection. Great prices. read more

Do not go to this business!!!! I paid almost $800 for a washer that lasted less than a year and then the motor went out. When I called to speak with someone about it all I was told was the owner only comes in on weekends. I had to pay out of my own pocket to have someone diagnose the issue. I told the salesman on the phone I did not have the luxury to wait around for someone to hopefully call me on the weekend and he refused to put my in contact with the owner. The manufacturer could not even find my units information in there system. I was probably sold a knock off. I even offered to bring them the old unit so they could repair it and resell it and I would purchase a new one and still heard nothing. Horrible business!!!! read more

He was very friendly when I was looking for a refrigerator. I ended up buying a big fridge without a freezer since I don't freeze much. It was great....for about 9 months. Paid 400 dollars for it. I moved and the fridge continued to work for several weeks. Once it stopped working I called Meno to get a repair guys number. Cost me 35 bucks to have joe blow come look at it. He said it was the compressor which would cost me 3-400 to fix. I ended up having my friend come over who is a technician come look at it a few weeks later hoping we could fix it for just cost of parts. Turns out my fridge was leaking freon and the compressor was fine. So, I'm not sure how I feel about this business. read more
