I'm middle aged and to this day have NEVER purchased a "new" appliance (large one anyhow) due to the price, convenience or lack there of and...well, the newer stuff is getting to fancy/easy to break. Anyhow, went to the store about lunchtime, no pressure at all, but were very friendly. I said I was looking for a fridge and maybe with water and ice in the door. (though I knew those go for like 900-1000 in the stores) They had a half-wall of great / gently used or refurbished fridges all less than 500! I was between two of them, but decided on a black whirlpool side by side with ice in the door. All mine and out the door (and delivered with my old one getting picked up too) for about $350. Wait, what? my basically dream fridge for $350? yep! Delivery was by the end of day (you can't even get that from Big stores! not ever!) He brought it, set it up, showed me where the water filter was (I went that night to get the replacement one) and was in and out/old fridge gone in like 30 minutes...I have an older house so it's not easy moving things in and out but he was cautious and didn't have any issues. There's a 90 day offered on it...but a day later, we're enjoying a great working (lots of space) fridge/freezer with water and ice in the door...AND we now have a solid go-to for appliances! Today my husband was like "does he have dryers? I hate our dryer!" lol so I guess we'll be going back soon. Great service. Highly recommended. Great selection. Great prices.

My front loading washing machine took its final breath last week and we called Crown. Crown was out…read moreto my house the next day, thankfully. The first time the Crown repair man came to my house he was here about 90 minutes and charged us around 240 just to look at it and diagnose the problem. He then informed me that my washer would need a new part because the other part had gone out and he would be ordering the part which was a pump - which cost 131.73 dollars and would be back to my house within 5-8 business days, holy moly that's a long time. So I wish that they had replacement parts in stock instead of having to order them. I am a clean freak, I do a lot of laundry, I can't express how crazy I've been going this past week without my washing machine it would have been nice not to wait so long. So the Crown repair guy is out now, it took 6 days for our part to come in and he is fixing it in a timely matter and even cleaned out our trap for the washer. He did do a lot of sighing while he was fixing my machine, I guess it was a lot of hard work but I'm not going to lie is a tad awkward. He is making me laugh though, saying stuff like "yippee and yayyy it's fixed!" Yup that's my sentiments exactly. He also noticed that my water lines were backwards...my hot was cold and my cold was hot despite the hose being connected to the right color. I noticed my laundry was hot on the cold cycle and couldn't figure out why! So he fixed that and then explained to me how to tell if the lines are correct even if they "look correct" they may not be. Anyway he just left and this trip out was 75 dollars for a total cost of 315 to replace my pump. I'm not going to lie I wanted to spend a few extra hundred and get a new one for that price but I was already 240 into it so it was too late, lol. Overall I am satisfied with Crown and will use them again if I need an appliance repaired.
