I came in to buy a washer and dryer for my new home. The store is divided into new appliances, used, and a eclectic collection of furniture. The owner of the business was friendly and helped me select a washer and dryer pair which was promptly delivered the next day. Also of note, the store has a warranty where they'll address any issue up to a year after purchase. Here is where the issue began. The men who delivered the appliances bought the units to the laundry room and installed them in a timely manner. After they installed the dryer and ran a test cycle, I could hear an awful banging/ clanking sound coming from the machine. After a few tries to fix the sound they decided that their job was done. HOWEVER. When I went up to run the machine to check that everything was in working order, I noticed that the dryer was STILL making a noise. When I went back down to the garage to ask them about the problem they were GONE. They were in so much of a hurry they didn't even ask me to verify the items were delivered in good condition - they practically ran out the house! So I called the owner and told him about the situation to which he came back out the next day. He arrived and disassembled the dryer to fix the sound that it was making. Quite odd if the dryer is supposedly brand new - why would a brand new unit need to be disassembled already? I was in the middle of moving so I told him that I was going to the other house (just five minutes down the road) to pack up the last of my belongings, but to just let me know when he's about to leave so that I can come right back. Instead, he just texted me to let me know that the dryer is fixed now and that he left. So upon my return, I went to run another cycle on the dryer and lo and behold, it's still making the banging/clanking sound. Repeat the whole thing again. I recorded a video of the dryer running and sent it to the owner. He returns again, checks the dryer, and just tells me that there's nothing wrong. Obviously it wasn't working properly because I can visually see something banging up against the side wall of the dryer in addition to the noise. I sent him another video to let him know the issue was never resolved and the dryer is still making a banging sound while running. To note, the load wasn't off balance or anything. Regardless of the size of the load - full load, small, light, heavy, empty - it's still making that banging sound while running. Unsurprisingly, he stopped responding to my text messages. I can see that he reads them, but no response. I regret patronizing this establishment and should have just went to a big box store instead. Now I'm stuck with a defective dryer since they have a "no return" policy which isn't fair if the unit isn't working properly from the very beginning!

They fixed my broiler and showed me what to do if it happens again. Instead of pressuring to buy a part, they explained how to work with what I had (giving me the option). They also fixed the springs on my oven door, and gave me some tips on using my range. You have to make an appointment and be a bit flexible, since they are based in Stockton. Call ahead, they are pretty booked.

We brought our truck, picked out what we wanted, they helped load it up, and my husband installed them that evening. Win! They do offer delivery and install, through a third party they work with. It was fairly reasonable but we didn't want to wait. Also, you can bring your old appliances back and drop them off. They will recycle them for you. Subtracting one star because the sales person was bad talking the brands they don't carry. With a passion. At the end of the day, even if the brands suck, I'm not a fan of talking negative against the competition. "I don't reccomend it." Or "We don't carry XYZ because we only carry products we can stand behind" would be sufficient.

The first refrigerator I bought was used and was exactly what I wanted which was a side-by-side with water and icemaker. I bought it for a very very fair price. There was one minor issue with it and they absolutely honored their warranty. They came out right away and fixed it fast and it and it was a trooper for 2 1/2 years until this recent issue with PG&E. The new refrigerator is working great. There were a lot to choose from and they are all labeled with the price and if there is anything like no icemaker or no water, you already know just by looking at the sticker on every appliance in the store.I am very happy with both of my refrigerators. I also want to mention the customer service. The first time I dealt with a very nice lady who helped me and the second time I also dealt with a couple of different ladies because I went on two different days. I love love LOVE their no pressure approach. They let you walk in and ask you if you need any assistance looking for anything in particular, and after that, they leave you alone to just look for exactly what you want and try everything out. I really appreciate the fact that they do not hound you or pressure you into buying some thing and with the stickers you know exactly how much you're going to pay. Both times I had the refrigerators delivered and both times I had an absolutely wonderful experience with the nicest people. I live in Manteca, and the first time they came within three days and this last time they came on the same day within two hours!! The delivery included the driving distance plus setting up the new refrigerator and removing the old one which would normally cost over $100 for a junk haul. I cannot say enough good things about this place and if I ever need an appliance I will absolutely go to them first. This is a late review - something I have been meaning to do for a long time. After searching the web I found Central Valley Appliance Repair and I went with him because he strictly worked on washers and dryers. He was able to come do the repair at the end of the day, so it was same day service. Prateek told me what was wrong with the dryer, got the repair done, did a courtesy check of my washing machine, gave me advice on how to maintain my washing machine so that it will last longer and was fairly priced. I would recommend his services if you are in need of a washer or dryer repair. It is now October and my dryer has been working perfectly since the repair was done.
