Dave was very responsive and professional. He kept in great communication and even showed up earlier than projected. He successfully repaired our dryer and thoroughly explained what the issue was and what parts were.needed. He was very knowledgeable about our dryer and explained step by step the work he was doing. He was thorough and even went above and beyond by noticing that I had disconnected the vent hose and climbed behind the dryer to reconnect it. I highly recommend Dave's Appliance for repair and would give him a rating way higher than five on his service. I will be calling Dave again for my next repair! read more

Called Dave on a weekend for my washing machine, he was out of town. Gladly took time to diagnose my problem over the phone then helped me find a solution. It was on child lock. Soon as that was taken out, machine was back to operating again. I appreciate this person having a great personality and attitude then taking a moment out of his personal time to help someone without even demanding for any payment in return. He definitely earned my trust and business. Thanks Dave. I appreciate it. read more

Called Dave yesterday. Made an appointment for the next day from 8-10am. Said he'd call when on the way. He called me at 7:50am , on the way. I have only had a few repair folks actually do exactly what they say a couple times. So the oven (3years old) decided to not work .. not happy. A rather expensive Samsung .. professionally installed gas. So I'm not happy. Dave had the thing torn down and diagnosed straight away. Found the problem and had the part in his van. He was in out done in one hour. He was professional, polite, and right to it. Nice to have a guy who can do the job for a really fair price. He's on the good guy list. Thanks Dave read more

Dave is the absolute best! Truly my super hero. I had called him a few weeks ago about my dryer pulley going out but unfortunately it was so close to Christmas and he had so many other appointments and other stuff with myself we just couldn't line something up for him to come by! He said that's not a problem just call him after the holidays and he would still be more than happy to stop by. I called him Tuesday and set up something for today and he told me he could drop by around 10-1. 10:30 he called to let me know he was on his way! He was in and out in about 30 minutes or less. He's very knowledgeable in his field of work, very kind to answer all questions and concerns and is willing to teach you a thing or two! Very reasonably priced as well. Dave I appreciate you again for coming by and stopping the squealing of this dryer that I've had to endure for the last almost four months. If you're looking for a reliable appliance person he is truly your man! If anything else goes wrong - washer or dryer again - I will be calling for his rescue! read more

My standard disclaimer now that I have a kid and one on the way is I don't write reviews nearly as much as I use to due to time. But when I run across a small business that more than deserves a review I do my best to complete one. My maybe 5.5 yr old washer started smoking over the weekend. We made arrangements for Dave to come out as our regular appliance person hadn't responded. Dave was on time, knowledgeable and just gave me the facts! Our washer was toast! The parts would have cost more than a new one. Being the person I am I wanted to get the same kind or similar to match. When I asked Dave which washer he recommend he said none of the ones I wanted . He suggested a Speed Queen. A what? So we had this long discussion about a "Speed Queen" including durability, warranty and cost. I asked a few more questioned, paid my service fee and Dave was on his way. Well then I Googled Speed Queen...it was ugly and costly. Not anything I hoped and dreamed for. However the customer reviews amazing! I let my husband do the rest of the leg work and here we are. The proud owners of a ugly, yet reliable Speed Queen thanks to Dave! read more

I never even hired the guy or gave him any money, but he provided great advice via a phone conversation. I experienced something weird with my washer. I sought help via Yelp and Dave was one of the respondents. I called and described the problem to him and instead of coming out and charging me a diagnostic fee, he provided sound advice during the call, which I followed. Saved me money big time. I really appreciate his concern and his honesty and I highly recommend Dave for your appliance repair needs. read more

Dave answered my first call, scheduled an appointment for the first business day of the week. Worked on my 25+ year Maytag washing machine and told me it was working, however, it might stop again. He identified what part would be needed if the problem persisted. As he predicted, it did stop. A call back to Dave, he ordered the part and arrived the following morning with the part. We are homeowners in North Stockton, part of the Spanos West community. Our Samsung broiler in our gas stove stopped working. The stove is approximately 7 years old. I called in the morning left a message; had a return call within the hour; and our broiler was repaired by mid-afternoon! Dave provided great service, had the part in his inventory on his truck; was polite and wasted no time in identifying the specific problem and went about to fix it. We could not have asked for anything more. Thank you Dave! read more

Dryer broke and wouldn't spin anymore. I found Dave on here and gave him a call. He got back to me later that day and set up an appt. When the day came, he was actually able to come before our set schedule time since he was already nearby my residence. Which was a plus for me. Upon arrival he wore his mask and went straight to work. He was in and out within 45 minutes!! Fast service and fair pricing I'd def recommend him to anyone having issues with their appliances. read more

I highly recommend Dave's Appliance. Absolutely the best service I've received with anything lately! I'm a single working mom with zero time and very little extra money. It's scary when you need a repair on things. Usually you're scared of how someone is going to try to gouge you. My dryer stopped blowing hot air. I searched on yelp to hopefully make a good decision on someone for the repair. I called Dave on a Sunday. He was at my home by noon on Monday. THE VERY NEXT DAY! The charge was HALF of what I was expecting. He was very professional. The repair was done within 45 minutes. He even went the extra mile and dislodged something in my garbage disposal. Thank you Dave. read more

Called Dave on a Thursday night and he had a gas range and dishwasher installed by Friday evening. I was going to have Lowe's install the dishwasher but per his suggestion I canceled it and asked him to install it for me-- he even offered to pick it up from Lowe's and bring it over! He also gladly hauled away the old gas range. All for a fraction of what Lowe's charges (not to mention Lowe's wait time of 3-5 days) I got his number and business card saved and I plan to call him first if we need help with anything, and I have been recommending him to friends. Great guy, down to earth, honest, and easygoing. read more
