I had a problem with my SubZero refrigerator and connected Ruffoni Home Appliance Repair. Chris showed up at the appointment on time. He was very professional and figured out the problem right away. I was kind of concerned because Chris looked pretty young. After he told me his history, I was relieved and felt comfortable with him. Within a short time, my fridge was back up running perfectly. I highly recommend Ruffoni's as a competent, trustworthy business. read more

Outstanding customer service with Sandra as always ; Manuel and the other Gentleman that have delivered the appliance were very much kind and professional and on time . Returning customer, the only negative aspect this time was unispected long waiting for the appliance to arrive at their store. When arrived , 2 hours later was in my house read more

Great repair people. I live in Lompoc, and it's quite a distance for Ruffoni's to come down here and fix my appliances, but I only trust them. Ask for Reggie he's the best. read more

I always try to shop local, small businesses.Generally they seem to take better care of customers and your money stays close to home. My clothes dryer went out and I needed one fast. Ruffoni's promised next day delivery and Sandra made it happen despite challenging circumstances. Aaron the installer was terrific - quick, efficient and thorough. The price was competitive with the big box chains but the HUGE difference was SERVICE. I highly recommend Ruffoni's when you need to shop appliances. read more

Dan came out to service our Bosch Ice Maker. Could not find any issues but we will be receiving a by-pass cap. We have reverse osmosis and it could be part of our issue. He explained everything to my husband. read more

We called Ruffoni's after our water heater blew out one morning, asking if they could replace it. They were the only company out of three other tries that said they could do it the next day and without coming over first to give an estimate. They showed up on time and were very professional. The water heater was under our house and the one they brought was a little too big to fit. After discovering this they diligently went back to their shop and brought another that fit just right but cost slightly more. They made us aware up front of the cost difference and we were very pleased to receive a revised invoice with corrected serial number the next day. We were very pleased with their professionalism, speed, attitude and administration, would definitely call them again. read more

We try to do business locally to support local families. Our GE dishwasher stopped working. Called Ruffoni's. A technician came out and diagnosed a bad control board. $127 for the diagnosis and $500 to repair. We're computer people! Control board? Easy! Bought the exact (OEM) part. Replaced the bad control board with the new. No issues. It worked first time but same symptoms showed up. Wrong diagnosis! Ruffoni's ... you guys need to do better! First time, shame on you. There won't be a second time! read more

Andrew, Ruffoni's Technician, did a great job on both our ice maker and our dryer. We had been on vacation and came home to a deluge of ice in our freezer. He knew immediately how to correct the problem. And our dryer had a shortage on the vent, so he installed a new one, leaving enough of the coil so we could pull the dryer out and clean behind it. Arrived as planned; knew what to do. Would recommend him highly. read more

Justin put in extra effort to find the correct circuit board for our stove! Without that we would still be sitting with an oven that didn't work. read more

I want to express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment regarding a recent purchase and delivery experience for my mom's stove. The delivery of the new stove had to be scheduled three separate times because the first two units delivered were damaged. Taking time off work for these three separate attempts has resulted in significant lost time and inconvenience, which is deeply frustrating. During the conversation with the owner today, I suggested that waiving the delivery fee or offering some form of compensation would be an appropriate resolution for the lost time and inconvenience caused by these incidents. I was disappointed that the owner was unwilling to work toward a resolution, offered numerous excuses, and refused to take any accountability for the repeated failed deliveries. I feel that my concerns were dismissed, and I am deeply disappointed by the lack of customer care demonstrated throughout this process. I expected a company with a decent reputation to take responsibility for its errors. Is this how you would want your mother treated? read more

First contact in store was very professional and helpful. Picked out microwave, set up appointment for instillation and removable of old item for Wed. the 26th. I received phone call on the 24th around 8:45am from the installers that they could be to our house btw. 9 and 11am that day. I agreed. The installers arrived approximately 9:20 and began working right away. The two workers were very polite and friendly. They finished the instillation in a very timely manner and then proceeded to clean up, leaving the area very much back in order. I was given the paper work and warranty information. The total time was approximately just over half hour. Very satisfied with the entire experience, from original store contact to the completion of installation. read more

We have used this company for our appliance repair for over 20 years. This is because they do a good job of scheduling, showing up when they say, doing a good repair at a reasonable price, and because the service staff are personable and professional to deal with. I called Ruffoni's appliance after needing our refrigerator serviced at our home in Oceano. I chose them after looking for a business on line and there history along with positive reviews was an easy choice for me. The initial appointment set up and direct communication with our technician, Reggie, via phone on the day of service as we were out of town, was very professional and efficient. Reggie called me with a diagnosis of the problem and ordered the part that he will install when it arrives at their service center. I would definitely use them again and was pleasantly surprised because my experience with many central coast vendors has been less than positive. read more

Dan was very clear about about what was entailed about fixing our refrigerator. Apparantly, due to the poor design of the defective part, it was possible that the part would break in the process of removing it and the whole door might have to be replaced. However he got the part out and fixed the problem with a simple part replacement. Very skilled! read more

Andrew was very professional. Arrived within the window given, Diagnosed the issue quickly, discussed options and ordered the part. Once the part arrived the office scheduled a time for repair. Again, Andrew arrived within the scheduled window. He estimated the repair would take 30-40 minutes. Was done in 35 minutes. A very professional and friendly person. Would highly recommend. read more

Chris and the team at Ruffoni's were outstanding This was a very difficult issue which took a long time to diagnose and fix - frankly at a much lower cost than could have been expected on an expensive Sub-Zero Appliance. At one time, Chris had the entire apparatus on the floor as he and his supervisor (who Chris brought in to help) tried to diagnose it And then - unprecedented to me - Chris came back several times on his own - without charge - to make sure it was fixed. Thank You Chris, and Ruffoni! read more

Manny and Aaron were terrific. Prompt, super-efficient as a team, and in and out in very tight quarters. They know their business!

Reggie is the best! My fridge wasn't properly cooling so I called ruffoni's and they were able to send Reggie out that same day. There were some obstacles that made getting info on my fridge a bit more complicated, but Reggie really went above and beyond to figure out and diagnose the issue. It took some time to trouble shoot, find the info he needed, and order the part, but in the end, he fixed it and I now have a perfectly working refrigerator! I am very thankful to Reggie for his diligence and knowledge. I hope I am not in need of any further appliance repair in the near future, but when I am, I will definitely call Ruffoni's. read more

From the first call and asking if they had certain dishwashers on display. .. the lady Alex was sweet and helpful. We ended up getting a Dishdrawer ( although we went in for a different brand) which was a spluge. She didn't push us. We had them in the past so we saw one and decided on it. The next eeek it was installed and the installer notice a dent and immediately ordered a replacement. A couple weeks later Another fellow put it on . We asked him to look at an our 20 yr old dish-drawer in our guest house. It lit up but wouldn't work.He didn't think it could be fixed, Long story short, another technician? Chris came in and tested the front panel and figured it out.. He fixed it !! Yeah! His knowledge sure saved us a ton of money because if it was not fixable we'd need to take the whole cabinet out! Chris is an exceptional fellow and we are grateful he came out and fixed it. We would go back for other appliances when needed. read more

We recently began to have trouble with our Whirlpool dishwasher not draining. After cleaning the filters and still no success, we called Ruffoni's on a Friday afternoon to schedule a service call. We were told that a technician would be out the following Monday. Martin called us first thing Monday a.m. to let us know when to expect him. He was prompt and resolved our issue very quickly. He explained everything very thoroughly and ran the dishwasher through a test cycle. Thank you Martin!
