Purchased a GE refrigerator from this business on 9/19/22 for $3400. On 10/14 our ice maker went out. We called and scheduled repair. On 10/20/22 we returned home after being gone for several days to find our freezer out and every spoiled. Went to this store and spoke to Manager, explained our issues and of course there was great frustration in my voice but no yelling, no cursing just upset with a horrible product. I asked if we could get a replacement refrigerator, "No, we're a small business we could never accommodate that request." Then asked if they would pay to replace all the product I lost in the freezer. "No, we don't do that." Not one word of concern for what just happened, not one word of sympathy, not one suggestion on how we could remedy our issue. He said he'd give us a service number to call but "you have to be nice to them when you call." What, are you kidding me? Have you not heard a word I've said? As we were leaving, he said to my husband as I'm standing nearby, "tell you wife I hope she has a better day." We intentionally, purchased in Tracy as I firmly believe in keeping our money with our merchants but never again and certainly not with this merchant. After two VERY discouraging days looking for a particular size refrigerator, my sister advised me to cal this store. Mind you, it was almost 2 hours from home, but I was desperate to get a refrigerator as mine had died. It seems the pandemic has caused a big buying splurge for second refrigerators due to having to stay home. And I had a very specific size that could fit in my kitchen! I had called EVERY appliance store ALL OVER the ENTIRE Bay Area to no avail. Called at 9:05 and was put in touch with Cory, one of their sales people. WHAT A GEM! Not only did they have what I needed (the very last one) but I was informed that it was on sale. THAT bit of info was NOT on the website! I was so ecstatic to find that size that I would have paid the full price without batting an eye. My husband and a dear friend who had a pickup drove to the store to pick it up and upon arrival was informed it had a small dent on the door and that they would be happy to order a new one or give me a refund of 10%. Again, they did not have to do that under the circumstances and i would have STILL taken the unit, offer or not. Once we had the handles on it is BARELY noticeable, so opted for the refund. It has been a VERY long time since I have received the level of service this company gave us and I am thrilled with the new refrigerator. It is worth the drive to shop there! read more

I ordered a refrigerator from Costco a couple of weeks ago because my refrigerator just stopped working . I never received a call on when I would receive it and Costco never took the money out of my account . Days went by and I heard nothing from Costco so I decided to cancel and I called a local shop . I was living out of ice chest and couldn't any longer . I came across this place from the amazing yelp reviews and I'm so glad I did . I'm a huge Costco shopper and I always thought they would have the best prices but I was wrong . I received my refrigerator the same week and I saved around 400$ . Costco price was more !!! While visiting my son's house here in Tracy, the shelter in place order was issued and their refrigerator broke. They ordered from a big box store, waited almost 3 weeks for delivery and were then told it would be another 3 weeks, UGH! So I searched on line and found Center Appliances. Wow, wish we found them 3 weeks ago! Marilyn answered my call and was so helpful, checking to see if the model my son wanted was in stock. It was! Not realizing I had called their Manteca store, she called the Tracy store for us to check on delivery and it is being delivered this week! Price was competitive! My wife and I had searched Sears, and Home Depot for a new emergency home dryer. We have mostly shopped Sears in the past for all our appliances. Sears now requires almost a $100 extra for delivery, and pick up of old dryer. (If you don't have their charge card). Feeling frustrated, we decided to drop into Center Appliance. We have purchased parts there in the past. We immediately was aware of the fact that his prices were very competitive with the larger stores. Plus Pete was very knowledgeable of all his appliances, having been in the business for approx 40 years. He did not try to steer us into something we didn't need. Within minutes we were able to get what we were looking for, with "free" next day delivery, and take away. The delivery guys that came were very courteous, and and professional. I have to say i have not received this great service for a long time. i walked in to buy a thermal fuels for my dryer, the manager tested the old one that i brought in first, and he told me it was good still. he told me to try the door switch instead. he was right, he even gave me tip how to continue to use the dryer while waiting for the part to come in. he will only get 10.95 for selling the part, but i recieved a million dollars service from him. This make me want to buy appliances from him, too bad i don't need any. so if you read this review, and need applice please check this place out, the manager, Pete is a very knowledable and honest man. i gave him 6 stars if i could. we should support small shop in our neigborhood! read more

Exceptional Service! Thank you Pete for saving the day! I was having a barbecue that up coming weekend when my refrigerator went out on me. I had just purchased all the food for it that same day. I checked with several places that could not deliver until Monday and this was Thursday. Pete told me to come in before 10 am on Friday and he would fit me into his delivery that same day if I found something I liked. I decided after having a Samsung that I was only going with a brand name that has been making appliances for years and not someone that makes phones! He had a Maytag that was perfect and I'm a little picky. Plus, it had to be counter depth, which narrows my options. Pete gave me a 2 hour window of time for delivery that same day as promised and they were here as scheduled, professional and polite. Great price and no extra delivery charge!
