I just wanna say how impressed I am with this company. Owner came out fixed the problem and didn't pressure me into buying a full system on the spot like 3 other local companies I called before him did. I know that my old system won't last forever and once it fully goes out I'm absolutely going to go with Souza's Heating and Air. HIGHLY recommend them. read more

Souza's Heating and Air - Honest, Reliable, and Skilled! I had to make a claim through my home warranty company, and they sent out their HVAC contractor. I was told my unit was beyond repair and needed a full replacement. Unsurprisingly, the warranty company wouldn't cover it. Then the same HVAC company suddenly said they could fix it--for $1500 out of pocket. That flip-flop didn't sit right with me. So I called Souza's Heating and Air, and I'm so glad I did. Not only did they fix my unit the same day, they showed me the actual faulty part--which was completely different from what the warranty contractor claimed. The repair cost just a few hundred dollars, and my unit now works perfectly. Souza's demonstrated real integrity, transparency, and professionalism. I'm incredibly grateful for their honest service and would highly recommend them for any HVAC issue. read more

Service was excellent. Knowledgeable about the issues and resolved it quickly for a fair price. Highly recommended!

Souza's Heating and Air Conditioning is a business I have learned to trust. They installed a new wall unit A/C for my mother-in-law and went way out of the way to please her. None of the other companies we talked with would do the job, they wanted to replace it with a whole house unit. The cost was many times more than the final price Souza charged. Our A/C stopped blowing cold air. We called Souza's A/C and the repair was done in less than 24 hours. Rick was fast and pleasant. I will commend to everyone. read more

Exceptional.. excellent..I am running short of words on how to express my experience with Souza's heating and air conditioning repair. They saved me and my family during the heat wave!!! Mark was on time, professional.. he did whatever needed to be done. Even put a small connecter in the unit.. did not charge me a penny..He cleaned my AC.. gave me some tips.. we need lot more people like him. My faith in humanity got stronger again.. We have been using Souza's for the past 3 years! Their response time is quick and customer service is 5 star. My AC stopped working last night with triple digits forecasted and they were here in the morning and fixed it. Highly recommend! read more

I called Monday afternoon to schedule a check-up as our system blew its fuses late Sunday and we replaced early Monday morning. Everything on the internet suggested that when this happens it's important to have the system checked. Rick was scheduled for Thursday as they were busy, but that was okay as our system was working now. Rick arrived on time and checked out the system. He took a video to show me what the system was doing and said we were very fortunate the house hadn't burned down (due to overloading the circuit it sparked every time the A/C started up). Replacement was inevitable. Rick discussed the options he had available. Within 24 hours we made our decision and we were put on the schedule for Monday morning for installation. The process was smooth for a quick resolution to a newly discovered challenge. The installation was handled in a professional manner. Of course, we provided plenty of cold water because the weather is currently running at triple digits (everyone should do this). Yes, we definitely allowed the folks to use our bathroom and they left it acceptable. There were challenges with the accessories and there weren't any audible poor word choice outbursts. Most importantly, we now have A/C that operates safely and well. read more

I came home from a camping trip and my AC was not working. I called Mark Souza on a Monday and he said he could see me the next day. About an hour later he called said he might be able to squeeze me in if a job got done early. Rick the serviceman came over checked a few things out. He saw that I had a burnt motor. He called and picked one up and came back by to finish the job at the end of the day. Souza Air Conditioning was Awesome! They were professional, honest and efficient. I have used them before and always received the same quality of service. I highly recommend Souza Air Conditioning for any HVAC needs! read more

Had the best experience with this company! Our AC upstairs wasn't working and I got a quote from Loves Air who told me I needed a new unit (our unit is original when they built the house- 20 years old and the Freon is expensive to fill up ($160/lb) ... I got a 2nd opinion from Souza's heating and air and so glad I did! He told me they make a Freon that works with our unit that's a lot more affordable ($50/lb) and did a diagnostic and ended up replacing 1 part that was out. This company saved me a lot of $$$$. We will need our unit replaced soon (maybe a few years from now) but I'm so glad to get a little more life out of our unit for now. Definitely recommend Souza's Heating & Air! He's got our business for life! read more

Mark came to our house in Tracy to look at an AC that kept freezing up. We had 2 other companies come out to "make repairs" on the unit. Condenser worked better, but would still freeze up on hot days. Mark came out and found the problem in 10 minutes. Unit has been working well since, even when temp is 100+. Thank you! read more

I was shocked on the customer service. Mark was great about updating us before each service and letting us know what our options were to fix our noisy heater. He followed-up after to ensure everything was working smoothly. If we ever have issues with HVAC he would be our #1 option. Highly recommended. read more

I had an issue with my heater and called at LEAST 5 HVAC companies and they all pushed me off for 3 - 5 days to get a few estimates. After a week of waiting I was getting prices at almost 2k to fix the issue. I wasnt very happy. Called Souza's not only was the company there in 2 hours it was the owner! He gave me an estimate and it was half of the cost of these other crooks. We exchanged a few jokes. He showed me everything that he was doing, cleaned my entire system, and told me a great joke. Ive been going to work and telling the joke he told me and not giving him any credit. I will not ever use another company again. Hands down the best prices, knowledge, availability, and customer service in the tri-state area. Thank you Mark! read more

Thanks again, Souza's heating and air for fitting us in your tight schedule , called and Mark showed up in the evening. The problem was fixed in about 1/2 hour and the price was fair with how fast he responded and fit us into his busy schedule ! I called several other AC repair services and all were swamped and couldn't commit till next week. We have a newborn in the house and we couldn't wait with temps over 100 degrees . read more

While I was out of town and my mother was house sitting, she decided to hang a picture in my den, and punctured the AC line in the wall. Souzas team was able to respond quickly and do the repairs necessary to fix the line. Then he went around the entire house verifying all the vents were properly positioned with maximum air flow. Soon after the immediate repairs they came back and cleaned the entire unit (outside & attic) which I had never cleaned since purchasing my house 5 years ago. Very knowledgeable, professional, and caring team! read more

My heater was not kicking on but I figured oh well I can live with it. Then I came across numerous recommendations on Facebook for Souza's Heating & Air and figured I would give them a try. FINALLY an amazing AC company! I had my AC diagnosed 2x before calling mark. The blower motor went out. The 1st company wanted to charge me $2400 and the 2nd company wanted to charge me $1900. I reached out to mark on facebook since my cousin recommended him & his response was prompt. He gave me a price quote since I had already got the diagnosis 2x. He is a busy man so he was booked about a week out but it was so worth the wait. He charged me an extremely fair price and he even got the job done in 20 minutes! It feels so good to have AC again during this heat wave. THANK YOU MARK!!! Highly recommended! read more

When it comes to anything to do with your HVAC system, Mark Souza is the best!! I try and remember to get my system serviced yearly, but last summer I completely forgot. And when I remembered it was already half way into July and of course one of the hottest weeks of the year, but I thought why not try giving him a call to see if I can get an appointment... Well it was the very next day that he found time in his schedule to come by and do my yearly service!! Mark is the only technician that I will have work on my heating and air units and not only is he professional but also honest and someone you can actually trust. I'm a business owner myself, working in the insurance industry, and often tell my clients about how impressed I am by Mark's hard work, honesty and how affordable his prices are!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! read more

I called Mr. Souza with an emergency on my HVAC unit on my rental property. I am about an hour and a half away from my property so I was unable to check out what was going on with the unit. Our AC went out on a Sunday evening and we had another company come out and misdiagnose they problem and tell us he had to order a part for us. It was 95 degrees in our babies rooms and needed it fixed ASAP. Got in touch with Souza's the following morning around 9 AM and they were out and had our AC fixed by 12:30 that afternoon. The fix was much simpler and less expensive than the first tech quoted us. So grateful for a cool place for our family to sleep tonight! Cannot recommend them enough! read more
