Robert C. came to my home and went over the advantages of adding a few more panels that would still keep me in tier 1 status with the power company as well as consideration of adding a Powerwall III battery. Considering the increased power generating capacity of newer panels and storage capability of the Tesla battery, I was sold by the quality and value of the expanded system. The design and contract review was done online in a timely fashion and it was a swift transition to installation taking place in just one day, as the the lead installer (Antonio) was joined with two co-workers who explained how the project would move forward and answered all my questions. In 2022, Semper Solaris installed my solar panels. What they were not upfront about was the software that controls the panels are a third party called Enphase. In 2024, I replaced my router which set off a chain of events. I was unable to connect my new router to my solar panels. I called Semper Solaris, who directed me to call Enphase, who directed me to call semper Solaris to send a technician after their troubleshooting did not work. I even reinstalled my previous router with no luck. Short story, I called Semper Solaris and they schedule me a technician for a whopping $500 service fee upfront without even diagnosing the problem. Not covered by warranty and per their management about waving the fee or reducing the fee, "Sorry, nothing they could do." I cancelled the technician. We had a Solar City System put in over 10 years ago.Then we wanted to upgrade with a solar Battery system. Semper Solaris was recommended by Tesla for the Power wall. Semper was very professional and gave us a reasonable price and guidance for tax credits at that time. The system with The Tesla Battery is excellent.I can control with an app. Now, we've been in the house over twenty years and it's time for another roof. Ken from Semper Solaris came over and we considered all the options and we received some credits for our loyalty. So the roof is almost complete and the team has been great.Excellent communication.We worked out some issues with the satellite TV and internet antenna with Tim and proceeded smoothly. My husband and I were looking into getting solar this year. We google searched companies near our location and Semper Solaris popped up. Doing research on the company we found that it was a veteran owned business (which my husband latched onto since he's a veteran himself) and they carry many of the same morals and values within their business practices my husband holds dear from his time in service, so we decided to get an estimate. We received a call from an Alex Thomson-Corrao and honestly we couldn't have been luckier Alex was amazing he was very knowledgeable in the industry. He helped us crunch the numbers to see the value in the system for our energy needs. He went over how solar systems worked and tied into battery storage and the grid. He even helped us with looking into the incentives and rebates that were available at the time. He was very proffesional, freindly and understanding, but most importantly patient with us since we came at him with a million questions being first timers shopping in the solar industry. I had been trying to get help, replacing my 2 LG storage batteries for almost 2 yrs. LG was happy to send new batteries, if a certified solar tech would do the work. My original installers / company went out of business. I called and called and begged , many Solar companies to help me. I was ripped off by 2 separate techs , almost $2000.00, they came out, charged me for service call, and did know to file RMA with LG.. I called Semper Solaris , fingers crossed , and Karla Paetz in customer service managed to get the Ok to send Brak Briggerman , No Cal Semper Tech to help me. Brak had to come back several times to get the batteries switched and new batteries working with my system. I highly recommend Semper Solaris , both Karla and Brak were amazing . Karla always on top of schedule, Brak has knowledge and incredible character, he doesn't give up, he figured it out in spite of no help from Solar Edge. While I was happy with the installation process 6 years ago, their customer service after the installation is very poor.i have had one Panasonic solar panel crack, one Tesla solar battery go bad, and now my inverter stopped working. When I call for help and service, i cannot reach the support staff directly. All telephone calls go to the customer service staff who merely take your message and route it to the appropriate department. Then it takes a few days for them to call me back. I don't know if they are short staffed to answer calls directly or just their way of doing things, but I view this as very poor customer service. I'm beginning to doubt the quality of their products with my solar panel, battery, and inverter having problems within these past 6 years. read more

Brak was fabulous!!!-diagnosed the problem that knocked out my system, then washed the panels, which they really needed, recommended a surge protector, installed one, talked to headquarters, and recommended them to come in couple weeks to put in new inverter- on warranty. Semper Solaris installed my solar system in 2018, and we both signed a contract giving me a supposed 25-year warranty for all the components. The salesman said that they covered the service cost of warranty repair in the case of component failures. Now it's 8 years later, and I'm having low output from a couple panels, so I called them. They checked my system via the WiFi connected monitoring system, and verified that a couple of the micro inverters were intermittent or not working. So I was told that someone from service would contact me to set up an appointment. So what that means I guess is that someone from service will come out for "only $299" to check it out and see if I want an "inverter upgrade." So I replied with the question what exactly is an inverter upgrade when I supposedly have a 25-year warranty on my inverters??? They ghosted me after that. So far I have the feeling that once Semper Solaris has your check cashed, the supposed 25-year warranty turns into a "taillight warranty" (over with as soon as the taillights disappear). Buyer beware: if your Semper Solaris installed system has problems you will need to take them to court to get the warranty repair they signed a contract to provide. Sharise was outstanding in coordinating the process after the assigned project coordinator, Andrew, repeatedly dropped the ball in keeping me updated on the process. I told him that I would think about it and get back to him. He was very pushy on imposing the lease option and the deal will expire after he leaves. Sadly, these folks don't offer removal/reinstallation of existing systems, which is quite commonly needed when it comes to re-roofing projects since most roofers/construction companies won't touch the solar if you already have it on your roof. This is a full context post. I initially had solar panels installed last year. the contractors punctured my roof and installed the solar panels incorrectly for my roof (TPO roofs require staunchons!) leading to major water damage of my home. Thankfully Laura was assigned to my case! Laura has been an absolute god send, following up and coordinating with the contractors and who fixed the roof (so far so good!) and even the mold specialists who dried out my home. She even sent the contractors back for tiny little detailed cleanup work-- all of this before the baby was due in 2 months. I am so grateful to have such a hardworking partner at the company on my side. Companies may make mistakes and the key was that Semper Solaris made right by it and very quickly. Hi, I worked with semper Solaris to install a new roof. The project manager, Tatin Davis, did site inspection while the roofers were hard at work. He and the roofers were timely, conscientious, and productive in that my roof was fully installed in two days with city inspection shorty after. The roofers cleaned up every day and left my home free of debris which they took with them. My solar equipment has not worked for about a year now. Semper Solaris used sunpower equipment and Sunpower went out of business. Semper Solaris refuses to honor the warranty and repair my system. They said it is not their warranty and there is nothing that they can do for me. Semper Solaris is still in business and can easily replace the faulty parts but they refuse to make the repair under warranty. I did business with Semper Solaris not Sunpower. It is my belief that Semper Solaris should do the repair under the warranty that they promised. I specifically chose this company because they honor veterans but to my surprise they will leave a customer behind. read more

So far so good. We are having a complete re-roof and solar system upgrade. The re-roof was just completed and the results are amazing. The Construction Manager, Tim Aubert, spent a lot of time beforehand making sure all our requirements and concerns were addressed, going so far as to investigate our Leaf-Guard rain gutters to make sure that leaving them in place would be compatible with the Owens Corning roofing system and that this would not violate the warrantee of either the gutters or the roof. Once all was in place, tear down and re-roofing took only 2.5 days, including new roofs on two small outbuildings. This was definitely not the low bid, but you get what you pay for. We are now looking forward to the reinstall/upgrade of our solar power system which should start in a couple of weeks. read more
