FIVE STARS. I called a few people to bid a small roof repair. Henry responded very quickly (I still haven't heard back from anyone else!). Henry was available within 24 hours so we made an appointment. He arrived when he promised and did a great job. It was obvious from the minute he showed up that he had the equipment, the skills and just a great demeanor; really nice guy. I actually messed up - I thought I had enough shingles on hand, but I didn't. Henry simply said, "no worries" and ran off to get some. When he finished, he asked for less than his estimate (which I refused. A deal's a deal and he deserved the full amount). I recommend Gómez Diaz Roofing with no hesitation. Next time I need work done, Henry will be my first and only call. read more

Lorenzo and his team are fast, efficient and did a great job! Lorenzo even went above and beyond when at my instructions they cut all my extra unused cables down. Turns out, one of them was being used! It was our internet! My bad! Lorenzo spent time figuring out which cable it was and reconnected it. We are VERY pleased with the work done and HIGHLY recommend Lorenzo and t read more

Henry was great as I had a small amount of tiles to be replaced. Quote was very reasonable and job was super quick. I would recommend him.

Roofing team is amazing! Lorenzo literally come to my house and within 30 mins, had all measurements ready with a free quote. He was very efficient to share all material options. Great service provided via prep journey prior to final install. He was always available to answer questions, address specific needs, and offer advise on best solutions. When came time to deliver, the team pushed through completion with precise execution. Within less than two days, entire roof removed, replaced all rotten wood, installed new vents, and applied final shingles. The team even went above and beyond by primering new plywood and applied paint to vent matching my shingle colors. HIGHLY recommend this trusted roofing company to anyone who wants a great service, reasonable price, and amazing results! read more

Good responsiveness, great quality work. A bit on the pricey side but everything is expensive these days.

Woke up to a downpour in my kitchen coming from light fixture. Called this company and they came out within 30 minutes to assess the roof, and provide a quote. They were back the next morning and finished the job quickly. Professional, kind, and did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend them for any roofing needs. read more

With the past storm I noticed my roof had sprung a major leak. Started on my back porch and eventually started coming out of a light switch. As you can imagine I freaked the heck out. I called Lorenzo and he was able to come out the same day with an estimate. Initially he wouldn't be available until after the new year which was less than ideal with more storms headed our way. To my surprise he called and said he was available to fix the roof today. We had major dry rot and some pretty sizable holes. They fixed the whole thing in 1 day. I can't speak highly enough of Lorenzo and his team. Now I can sleep easy knowing my leak is fixed. Would recommend to anyone. The price was very reasonable and he had wonderful communication. He explained everything that was wrong and all that had to be done. read more

Had Lorenzo come out and give me a quote to diagnose and repair a pesky leak that's been plaguing me for years. Other roofing contractors cut corners and avoided stripping the entire roof down to plywood, which is what Lorenzo and team did. Found the source of leak , some dry rot and repaired. From quote to performance of work was fast. Communicated different phases of the work and provided pictures also. Will be using again for any roofing needs. 11/10. read more

This contractor quoted me $6,000 to replace broken concrete tiles on my roof. In comparison, I've had two other local reputable contractors quote me less than $2,000 for the same work. Highly recommend shopping around, this contractor looks to be taking advantage of customers. read more

Recently, while cleaning under the eaves, I observed an area of water intrusion under the paint. Upon removing the paint there appeared to be water damage to the wood. I contacted Gomez Diaz roofing and Lorenzo came out and gave me an estimate. Lorenzo and his crew arrived on time and started the repairs immediately. Upon removing the roofing shingles, there was more damage that required additional wood to be removed and replaced. Lorenzo and his crew removed all the damaged wood. They replaced the wood and plywood sheeting. They corrected the flashing that allowed the original water intrusion. They replaced the roofing tiles. They cleaned up after the repair. They were pleasant and efficient. Highly recommended! read more

Lorenzo and his great team, are honest, skilled, and offer great prices & customer service. My roof needed 1 end cap because the wind blew it off my house in windy Mountain House. Unfortunately I discovered, most Roof Contractors insist on a minimum charge! They all wanted $3K to $5K or more, for any work. Luckily through Yelp, I met Lorenzo. Lorenzo's rates are very reasonable and offers genuine, free estimates. He has NO minimum charge. Lorenzo did Not try to sell me other repair services because he said I only needed one new end cap. Lorenzo and his team replaced the end cap with a new one. Per great free Customer Service, he painted the new end cap and ALL the other end caps, one uniform color. This made all the roof flashings, end caps match the same color on my roof. Living in windy Mountain House, I know I will need Lorenzo's help in the future. I will call Lorenzo and his wonderful team. Thank you Lorenzo! read more

Very quick turn around. I received a response from Lorenzo within an hour of my submission, and he was able/willing to come the next day. Upon his inspection, he did a good job to take pictures to help me see what he sees, and clearly explained the issue. His rate was very reasonable, and he returned the following day to proceed with the fix. He did a good job to show me the before & after pictures for my records (per my request), and also scanned the rest of the roof per my additional request to ensure there weren't similar problems I was experiencing. Very happy with Lorenzo's support, and I plan to keep Gomez Diaz Roofing in my contacts for future needs. read more

I was interested in getting solar, but was told that I needed to update my roof because it was missing plywood and underlayment. I got quotes from ~5 roofers, with Lorenzo being one of them. Not only was he communicative, but he was on time and provided a very reasonable quote for a new tile roof. I am so glad I went with him! As you can see, he did a phenomenal job of installing the tile. My house looks 1000% better with the new roof. He communicated with me every step of the way, from getting the permit, to when he would be coming out to work on the roof, to when the inspection would be. He and his team completed the install within a week! I could tell he really cares about the quality of his work and making sure the customer is happy. He goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Not only did he come on the weekend to get the job done (even though I discouraged it because everyone needs some time off on the weekend), but he told me that if the solar installers crack any tiles, he will come out to replace them! They might be great roofers I have no idea because they don't do small roof repairs, gutter repair, or roof cleaning even though that is what's advertised. Per the owner they are only doing re-roofing/large jobs and they have a lot of work lined up. He was very nice but should update the business's Yelp information so as not to waste anyone's time. Let me be clear: I need some roof damage repaired, gutter work, and possible roof cleaning. I mentioned all of this and they don't do this work! I did not just ask for roof cleaning! read more

Gomez Roofing August 8, 2024 I researched many roofers and upon meeting Lorenzo and reviewing what he can do and when he could do it was pleasing. That day I sent him a text in reference to our conversation and he sent me an email explaining what he would do and when he could do it. The next day I called him back with questions on what was being done and could he give me a price without some of the options. Lorenzo gave me a few options and then replied "whatever you want I will do" Such a relief to have a contractor be so responsive and caring. I settled on getting everything done and we scheduled the service for August 8 at 8am and I texted Lorenzo to see if he could be a little early which he did. Upon arrival we talked about how long it would take, what was being done and materials. Lorenzo explained everything and his assistance went up on the roof to repair shingles, change the vent, seal the roof, add lead to certain areas and paint needed tiles and pipes. They are a great crew and work well together. Lorenzo found some other areas that added work, and he did not charge extra. Alan Cezar 10 stars to him and his team read more

I had two roof leaks that developed (or worsened) during the past winter and so I gave G.D. Roofing a call. After an assessment, he was able to quickly provide an estimate and a follow-up date to make the repairs. His team got to work quickly on the scheduled date to replace sections of the sheathing and underlayment that was damaged by the rain. He also cleaned out and extended part of the valley that was originally installed too short. He also fixed various cracked tiles and installed new vents (and color-matched them). I also appreciate that he spent some extra time explaining the details of what went wrong and how I, as the homeowner, could prevent issues from occurring in the future. read more

Get a second opinion!!!! We had a leak coming in from the ceiling of one of our bathrooms. Automatically thought it was a roof leak since we just had a weekend of heavy rain so called around and got Gomez Diaz to come out for an estimate same day since he was already in the area. Lorenzo came checked out the roof and gave me a quote for $3,800 for repair of a 10 x 10 area he said needed replacement. I had another company come out for an estimate a couple days later and told me my roof was dry and he asked to check out my attic to see if he could identify where leak was coming from. After his inspection, he determined I had a minor pipe leak in the attic and needed a plumber and provided photos of both the roof and the pipe leak in the attic which was repaired for less than $300. read more

Lorenzo Gomez came to look at my house and give me an estimate like the two other roofing companies. I pointed out two dry rot spots. What the other two companies did not point out was the dry rot right next to another spot that I missed that Leonardo did not. For that reason I went with him and he did a great job. Also cheaper than the other two places I got estimates from for dry rot repair. He also Cleaned up around the house after the repairs were done. read more

My husband and I recently bought our very first home which has been very exciting yet overwhelming at the same time. We knew we needed a new roof and I instantly went searching while we weren't moved in yet. I reached out to five different contractors and Lorenzo was not only the first to respond but was quick to get a contract started. He was able to start within the next week and had the entire roof finished within three days. Not only was Lorenzo so quick to respond but he had the best price out of all the other contractors. He did such an incredible job and our roof looks absolutely amazing. I would recommend Gomez-Diaz Roofing to anyone looking to fix or replace their roof.
