I've had issues with my Spanish tile roofs for a few years and kept holding it off until the water…read moredamage started to penetrate my master bedroom on the second floor. Initially I wanted just to get it repaired since I wanted to get the minimum work needed to get my Mediterranean style home to be sellable when I was ready to put my house on the market. I contacted several roof contractors on Yelp to get an estimate for a roof repairs for Spanish tiles. Some responded they were busy so never came over. A few came to inspect the damage but later ghosted and never even gave me an estimate. Manny was the one person who gave me an estimate for both a repair and a total replacement for my roof. Initially, I went with the roof repair so I could use the savings for other home projects. Manny accepted the work and his team eventually started to address and focus on the damage near my master bedroom and to get tiles that closely match my 50 year old tiles. During the work, Manny later spoke to me and shared the extent of the roof damage and recommended that I replace the whole roof rather than do the patch work Manny was willing to do. Even though the whole replacement of the roof was 4x the price of the repair, I respected Manny's knowledge and honesty that a whole new roof was the way to go. The work took two months since it took a month for the tiles to be ordered and shipped from Southern California. Manny was always easy to reach and kept me up to date on things. His workers showed up early at 7 am and ended their day around 3 pm when it got too hot. Not only did he do my roof but also the gutters that needed replacing. On the final day, Mannys team left my balcony and the area clean of dust and debris. I'm very fortunate to have had Manny and Universal Roofing do my roof when other contractors were not willing to do the task or give an estimate because it was Spanish tiles. Would recommend any homeowner looking for a roofer to fix, repair or replace your roof to contact Universal Roofing since his price is fair and the workmanship and professionalism is outstanding.

We first heard about Regal Roofing Solutions through my husband's coworker when we were looking for…read moreoptions to replace our 20+ year old roof. We contacted them through Yelp and received an immediate response to schedule an estimate. I met with Elias, Ezequiel's (the owner) brother for the estimate. Elias was very thorough and knowledgeable about what needed to be repaired and replaced. A day or so later I received the written estimate. We had 4 other companies quote us but RR felt like the right choice. They seemed to be the most realistic about what we needed and up front about how the job would be done, including any on the fly changes/repairs. We were not disappointed. They were great about communication from beginning to end. They took pictures of the work along the way and informed us of additional changes or repairs, which were handled on the spot with no additional charge. There was no guesswork or nickel and diming. They provided quality service and Ezequiel was on the job site throughout. They were respectful of our home, cleaned up after each day, and worked hard to complete in a couple days with permits as well as securing flashing around our HVAC and reinforcing gutters with additional screws. We also asked to have our skylights replaced from an outdated version to a more modern updated skylight. Overall, we give Regal Roofing Solutions 5/5 stars for quality of service and communication. This is the company you need to go with for any roofing projects.

Extremely easy to deal with and I'm satisfied with the work. Photos taken before, during and after the project. Very happy with their service and would highly recommend.

Terrible Roofing Experience…read more I would not recommend this roofing company based on my experience. The quality of work and the care taken with my property were extremely disappointing. During the job, the crew broke string lights in our backyard and left nails, Sawzall blades, roofing debris, and other materials scattered throughout the yard and garage. The lawn was damaged/killed in areas, and materials were not properly covered or protected. The debris was not limited to the work area. It ended up throughout the garage, including on our refrigerator, tools, and music equipment. A printer was also damaged by debris. Because we have children who play in the yard, leaving sharp nails and blades behind was especially concerning and unacceptable. I ultimately had to take time off work to clean up the mess that was left behind and remove debris from my belongings and garage. What was equally frustrating was the response when these issues were brought up. Rather than taking responsibility and addressing the concerns professionally, the owner came across as dismissive and annoyed. The overall impression was that the priority was getting the job done quickly and getting paid, rather than taking pride in the work or respecting the customer's property. For the amount of money involved in a roofing project, I expected professionalism, attention to detail, proper cleanup, and respect for my property. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Very disappointing workmanship and customer service.

The crew was polite and worked so fast, without sacrificing any quality which is important. Cecil was very friendly and polite and professional. Based on all that alone? I'd have given five stars. But let's talk about the Jeff-Goldblum-sized-Fly in the soup, shall we? The job concluded and there was a sizeable pile of refuse left over, laid out in our drive and alongside the inside of our yard. Not to mention the little pieces of trash surrounding the property, and the fact that they used my recycling bin to store some of it. We had to text and request that they come get the trash. Then there was the matter of a ladder they left behind for a considerable amount of time even though the city came out right away to inspect the work--we had to send a joking text to ask if the ladder came with the new roof. Then when they got the ladder, they made no moves to let us know, and in decided to shove some paperwork in plastic in between the fence slats--important paperwork we needed for records--rather than, I don't know, putting them in the handle of the storm door OR BETTER YET THE MAILBOX so we would be sure to see them. Like what on earth were they thinking leaving paperwork there like that?! Completely unprofessional. What really cheesed me off was getting a certified letter from the roofing supply company, letting us know that if McLain's didn't pay their balance for the supplies, they could put a lien on our roof?! I'm sorry what? If I order a cake from a baker, I don't get a notice for them to pay their balance for their flour or sugar suppliers, lest the take out a lien on my cake! Like what do you mean?! Maybe that's industry standard but as someone who worked in manufacturing, I never even heard of such a thing and frankly don't love that. All in all? A great roof, but the finishing steps left such a sour taste in my mouth, I won't be recommending them to friends and family.

So, I called John and told him the job was totally unsatisfactory, he argued with me stating that the employees said they did a great job and they showed him pictures. I told him to come over and look for himself and I too had pictures showing a totally different picture of their work. During the time Ed called and I called he cashed the check knowing we were not satisfied. I asked him why he did it, his excuse was it was for materials.
