After installation, two separate AC/furnace units for downstairs and upstairs, the upstairs furnace was not installed properly and it leaked. It caused water damage to the flooring, wall, and downstairs ceiling. I notified him of the issue and Albert said I should call my insurance company because he was going on a camping trip. I called my insurance company and it unfortunately made a negative impact on my insurance. I contacted Albert several times in an attempt to get his company's insurance information, but no luck. After doing some research, I was able to get his insurance information and reported the incident. My insurance was able to deal with his insurance. It was an extremely bad experience and would caution potential customers. My father also had a unit installed at his house by Albert's company and they did not install the unit to code or correctly, where it was having issues. My father had to pay $1,800 (different company) to get it fixed. I had high hopes for this company, but it was such a negative and stressful experience to deal with. read more

My serviceman came out late Sunday evening on a hot day and fixed my AC unit and fortunately had a motor on his truck to do the job right then. I am a repeat customer of Albert and AC Services, he previously came out several years ago during the dead of summer to service our AC unit. Today, we noticed our house heat was not working properly, could hear the furnace kicking on very briefly but then turning off and only getting ambient temp out of the registers. I called up Albert in the morning on a Saturday and within about an hour or so he was here at the house servicing our issue. With a quick tune up, he had the unit heating properly, but did also spell out next steps (a potential control board replacement) if the issue resurfaces. Honest, fast, reliable service. My AC bailed out on me in the middle of this sweltering heat. I called up bunch of services but as expected, there was huge queue of bookings for everyone. AC Services returned my call and scheduled a next day appointment for me considering the heat situation. Edgar showed up the next day morning on time, figured out the problems, explained them well and fixed them quickly. This review is long overdue and the original job was done in March of 2020 I needed to have my old AC/Furnace system replaced and I knew it was going to be a costly project so I went to online and requested quotes from 4 local businesses through yelp and after speaking and getting quotes from all 4 companies I decided to go with Albert (the owner) @ AC services. He was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but was in my opinion the best choice because I had a good feeling that he was experienced, knowledgeable, honest and would do quality work. He did not let me down at all. He consulted with me and managed the job and got it done in a timely manner, dealt with city inspections. Everything went well I checked out the install and everything was so clean and it was obvious that it was a quality job well done. The system (carrier brand) worked flawlessly and was a huge upgrade from my old system, which was a stock track home style system and he suggested carrier after I told him I wanted a system built to last like a tank . I also had him install Nest thermostats per his recommendation, that was a great idea. My family can control the temps remotely whenever they want , I don't even have to leave my recliner on football Sunday when I want to call for AC. ***UPDATE*** Fast forward over a year later and my Thermostats were giving me a error code "E74" and my system was not responding, ofcourse it being over a 100 degrees in tracy I was a little nervous about not having AC. I sent a text to the only guy I could turn to hoping he would respond and he did. He told me that it seemed like the furnace not getting power was the issue and he could stop by the next day to take a look. I was confused because I didn't have a problem with the furnace which supplies heat I needed my AC to work . But he knew the controls and electronics of the whole system ran through the furnace. He came by and sure enough the furnace was not getting power (blow fuse/faulty switch) , he fixed it ! I asked him how much? he just told not to worry about it, if anything just give him a referral. I was super appreciative most people are looking for a buck and good deeds are hard to find. We went to use our AC unit for the first time a few weeks ago during the first big heat wave and discovered that the unit would turn on but fan was not working and only hot/outside air was coming out of the vents. I called to schedule someone to come out and Alberth offered to come the same day even with how busy they were! I however had him come the following week since I was out of town over the weekend anyway and wasn't in a rush. He came out and diagnosed the problem and said our motor needed to be replaced and gave a verbal cost. Since we rent I had to run the price by our landlord and he was very understanding and offered to come the next day to do the repair. When our landlord asked for a quote with warranty in writing he had no problem doing that either and got it to us ASAP. Once approved he came at 6:30pm to fix our AC which we really appreciated. The HVAC system in my elderly parents' home was about 25 years old and not working well, so we knew we needed a replacement. We got a few estimates from other companies, but we felt that we were either getting taken advantage of, or upsold in many cases. Albert was all around great to work with. He educated us on the different options available to us and let us make the decision. Albert's quote was substantially less than some of the other quotes we got, but the equipment he installed was higher quality (Bryant) than what we got quoted from other vendors - this was something I was very happy with. We accepted his bid and scheduled service within a week of signing the paperwork. He installed a new furnace, AC, and dual-zone system for our parent's split-level home so that the downstairs and upstairs operated individually with independent wireless thermostats.
