This is a long overdue shout out to Dell and his team! Back in January my husband had emergency open heart bypass surgery. It did take a few phone calls to get ahold of someone at Dell's, but it is because they are in the field working. I called at 11am and they sent a tech by 1:30 the same day. They quickly diagnosed our problem, and repaired what they could within a half an hour. The tech did have to come back the next morning, but our heating issues were repaired within an hour at a very reasonable cost. I had A/C problem in a property in tracy. Temperature was hot. It was urgent to get A/C back to the house. I left a message and Zach called back quickly and said he could be there in one hour. He went there and checked, called back promptly. The problem was blower's motor being damaged. He could install a new motor in next day. Can't say enough about my experience with Dell's Heating and Air. We have a 2 story house, but only had 1 zone/1 thermostat for the whole house. Upstairs was always super hot in the summer. We used them to add a second zone to our second story and install a Nest thermostat. -Came out very quickly in order to scope the job and prepare a quote -Sent us the quote within a reasonable amount of time -Quoted price was MUCH better than the others I received. -Once I told them I wanted to move forward, they came out and executed the job super fast - Lastly, and most important, I don't know what was better: Zach's service itself, or his fantastic customer service. Of course my AC broke down on the hottest day of the week. Upon reading the yelp reviews, I contacted Dell's. They were booked until next week but Dell was kind enough to walk me through some steps over the phone to see what the problem might be. He also was willing to sell me the part if I was able to remove the run cap and drive to their location in Tracy. He then gave me his cell phone number and said he would walk me through the process over the phone of switching it out. That kind of dedication made me a loyal customer already! When it became apparent that (sadly, yes) I was helpless when it came to tools, I became desperate. I had a bedridden family member I couldn't move and a 2 yr old. Getting us all out of house until the AC was fixed was not very realistic. Dell saved my life! He offered to squeeze me in and have one of his guys stop by my place on the way back from another service appointment. They arrived within just a couple hours and just in time as my house temp was now hot enough to bake a turkey. They were professional, knowledgable, thorough, quick, and the price was unbeatable. I had my ac turn off every 10 seconds and pause for 5 minutes for the past 3 years. I have tried several technicians, changed motors, leak checked, freon filled but nothing changed the way it acted. Finally I called zack from dell to fix a nest thermostat common wire and he fixed the ac problem in few seconds. I am amazed at the result. Now the ac runs continuously. He said he just took off the zone max sensor from the zone board because it was tripping ac to shut off. Very polite, respectful, knowledgeable young men doing their job right. I found these guys on yelp, and boy was I impressed. I spoke to Dell yesterday and he scheduled my appointment for this morning between 9 and 10, yes the technician arrived on time. The guys name was Mike, he was friendly and courteous. Once he got to the furnace, it took him maybe 15 minutes to diagnose the problem. Even though my heater was old, he had the part in his truck, no need to order anything. He replaced the part, answered my questions on maintenance and gave me some advice on how to keep it running until i will need a new one, which i know will be sometime soon, it's over 20 years old.
