We love Daiso! I was so thrilled when they opened one in Flushing, NY. Sadly that is gone. So one of our must dos when we are out west is to go to Daiso. We found this Daiso and stopped in. We were there for 15 minutes when we realized we needed more time to shop because it is the largest we have seen in the States. They even carry items from their sister store Threeppy which I visited in Tokyo. We returned the next day and roamed the store to our hearts content. Such a wonderful selection of items, things you think you didn't need or wat. We picked up several items which would definitely cost more elsewhere. The base price for Daiso items is $2.25 unless otherwise marked and according to the conversion table so prices do range. Shelves are well stocked. It is located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. Service is friendly and efficient. All purchases are final sale so no refunds. Happy shopping!

Japanese store with a large variety of products ranging from kitchenware, to housewares, to plush, to crafts, to cosmetics, to food. The prices have really increased over the years. It used to be hands down the cheapest place to buy certain things like cotton pads and little Knick knacks...but now you might find some of these items cheaper elsewhere. Regardless nothing here will break the bank so come and buy fun little things to make you happy.

The pricing is a little hard to understand.

Daiso is an amazing place that has everything you never knew you needed! They have amazing items that look like they're straight from Japan. Lots of kawaii stuff, Sanrio, Disney, Dragon Ball Z, and more! It's like the dollar store, but cuter! They have tons of cool Japanese snacks, candy and drinks. They also have great beauty products, wallets, stickers, crafts and more. It's a place you can spend a lot of time in. The few areas they could work on is it would be nice if the prices were color coated, because they're a bit hard to understand for me. Also, the staff aren't too helpful or friendly. The cashier I had today was personable and barely said anything without me initiating. I'm always pro customer service. Ultimately though, if you're looking for a gift or random cute item, this is your spot. Also, the prices start at $1.75 and go up. It's a great deal for most items, but for other things they should be less money, in my opinion. Overall though, I will always be a fan of Daiso!

I was excited to find the store today in Irvine and walked around and looked at all the art supplies. Everything is so inexpensive and cute! I love all the stationary and stickers and it's so reasonably priced. I will be back.

I stopped by this Daiso before my lunch reservation at NEP Cafe and was amazed at how big the store was. They have many cool items that other stores don't carry. Everything is neatly organized and well put together. I ended up buying some things I'd never seen in my local store. Most items are priced at $1.75, although some are higher, but there is a chart to help you figure out the cost. The staff was very nice and helpful. Always great value and good quality at Daiso. It's located in a large strip mall close to Mitsuwa Marketplace. Highly recommend checking it out of you are in the area.

Enjoy shopping at this store a lot. So many cute Japanese items to choose from! I love how this store is stocked with a variety of items ranging from Kitchenware to garden supplies. There's also snacks, drinks like calpico with many flavors, and lots of beauty products and toys to choose from. I always find cute stationery here and there's always unique pens, stickers. I do miss their original pricing of $1.50 but now prices have increased and some items range from $1.50 up to $8!!!

    No returns/exchanges or $100 bill/checks

This review is long overdue. I frequent this Daiso location in Irvine and used to leave with something in my hands every time I visit. In the last three years, I have finally learned some self control and don't always walk out with another THING to add to my life. This Daiso location is sizeable compared to other locations in the surrounding cities. While not as large as some of the locations in LA county, they still offer a lot of the same items as the larger stores. They sell a variety of things for your everyday needs such as household, kitchen, stationary, food, pets, etc. Daiso items used to be priced at $1.50 when they first opened, but items now range from $1.50 - $5.00. Still very affordable, but don't assume everything is the same price. I love almost everything about Daiso, but the one thing that I find disappointing is that their product inventory is very inconsistent. Often times, I will buy something and the next time I go back to buy more there is none left. I will check back every week and nothing. Suddenly, half a year or several months later the item is restocked! I asked the sales associate about this before to check and see when/if they will be getting a particular product back and they said that they don't have that information. So if you really like something from here, I would go back quick to buy more before they run out.

I visited Nordstrom Rack Store #0168 in Tustin to correct a return error that originated with the store. Nordstrom Customer Service had already researched the transaction, confirmed the discrepancy, and instructed me to return to the store so it could be corrected. Instead of receiving help, I was questioned as though I had committed a crime. I was asked irrelevant questions, repeatedly insinuated to have switched merchandise, and treated with suspicion despite providing receipts, transaction details, and documentation supporting my claim. The entire interaction took place in front of other customers, leaving me feeling publicly humiliated and racially profiled while simply trying to resolve a mistake that was not mine. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told to come back another day. I was never given a manager's name or corporate contact information and was ultimately told to leave the store without any attempt to resolve the issue. No customer should be treated this way. I sincerely hope Nordstrom Corporate investigates this location and ensures that other customers are treated with the professionalism, dignity, and respect that have always made Nordstrom stand out.

Definitely a location to come to if you're looking to snag a deal on name brands! Being the bookworm I am, I really enjoyed the many choices of Lifelines gel pens, craft kits, and reads in store. That said, someone had managed to spill something sticky over the stationery section, which made it a bit of a pain to handle items there. I was able to ask for a discount on a boxed set since components listed on the packaging were missing. There is a sizable fitness section towards the middle of the store, if you're looking to bulk up your home gym or practice (pun intended). Generally speaking, TJ Maxx/clothes/beauty is on the left when you enter and HomeGoods/decor/furniture is on the right. It's a combined line though, and I don't know why but it's the most brightly lit I've ever seen a checkout. Overall would give 4 for selection, but would rank a 3 on condition based on what I mentioned before.

I had a horrible experience with this woman and I would definitely not recommend her practice. For the record, I have never left a negative review before this, but my experience here warrants one. I initially went in for a routine eye exam and was given an incorrect prescription by one of the optometrists in the practice. As a result, I had to return to have my eyes rechecked. Mistakes can happen, and I went back expecting a straightforward resolution. Unfortunately, my interaction with Diana Ciobanu made an already frustrating situation much worse. Before she had reviewed my records, I tried to show her the significant discrepancy between the prescription I had just received from her office and my previous prescription from a year and a half earlier. Rather than listening to my concerns, I felt dismissed from the outset. Her demeanor and attitude came across as defensive, condescending, smug and unwilling to listen to me. What should have been a simple opportunity to deal with this prescription error and resolve it professionally instead became an unpleasant and unnecessarily confrontational experience. I felt my concerns were being dismissed rather than addressed professionally. The incorrect prescription was disappointing and time-consuming, but what ultimately led me to write this review was the way I was treated when I returned to correct the problem. I left feeling disrespected, dismissed, unheard, and very angered by the lack of professionalism and empathy. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this optometry practice and especially NOT Diana Ciobanu. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!
