I like coming to this Target in the Irvine Marketplace. It is almost almost always clean and well stocked inside. The selection of supplies is very good. The value for the products is good. Some of the employees are friendly. I come to this Target location if I am in the area. This is one of the better Target locations in Irvine. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love Target but this location has done down the post years. I've been going here for years but they need hire more folks or something. I had to pick up an online order and it's 1 line for pickup and return. It's wrapped all the way to the Starbucks in the store. I ended up leaving and doing my shopping first. By the time I went back, there was only 3 folks in line but still only 1 person working. The clearance section was a mess. I walked around but wasn't in the mood to go through the mess. Also less cashiers now and you scan yourself out. Guess just the way thing are moving. But they have good prices on items you need. read more

I really coming to this Target location. There's a lot of parking available and it is located in the Tustin Market Place. Staff here is present and helpful. Indoor items are somewhat stocked neatly. If you need help with finding an item a sales person can be pinged to assist. They have self checkout here and electric vehicles for ADA. Large selection of LEGO sets sold here. I also like shopping for indoor decor for my bedroom and bathrooms. I like to change the look up every few years so this is a good place to shops and match! One less star as their restrooms need frequent cleaning and restocking of supplies. read more

This is my go to Targets for a decade it's been great but I've noticed this year it's starting to turn out like the Target at the Spectrum. What I mean by that is high school kids running around the aisles and bumping into people. Saw a kid walk into an aisle I was in with a family size bag of hot Cheetos and open them and started eating and of course dropping some as he was missing his mouth half the time. Once he was done he threw the 3/4 full bag on a shelf and walked away. This is expected now at Spectrum but it's a shame to see it start happening to this location as well. read more

Was just helped by the kindest and most helpful Target employee named Bryan E. He helped me with a large transaction that needed to be resolved . I recently bought a few items for an upcoming vacation. They still had their tags. Then I discovered that a sale for all the items I had just purchased went on sale for 30 percent off. Bryan took the time to return each item with a wonderful, positive attitude. I then bought the same items for the sale price. He was friendly, courteous and professional. Needed to pick up some school supplies for a fundraiser, and this location was closest to where I needed to be. The entrance to this location feels really cool, and the store itself feels pretty bit. It's structured the same as the one in Tustin, making it easy to find the section I needed. It didn't feel like the school supplies section was that well stocked, but it was good enough for me to find things that I needed. The parking here is also large, but I can see if being hard to find spots and getting a little hectic. I was able to grab my items and be in and out of there within 10 minutes. I also really liked that they had shopping baskets scattered throughout the store incase you realized you needed a basket. read more

Great location, this place seems pretty good (aside from bad customers and panhandlers) just look out for people on bikes who think they own the road, kids don't obey traffic rules. Compared to the Target (off Barranca and Culver) this place is huge. They always have stuff in stock here, I've never been disappointed when I drive here to get stuff. Every time I need any type of furniture, a light, cleaning stuff or toys for the kids, it's all here. It's a great place to find good stuff. read more

I've been coming to this target for years, and the new bag policy through self check out is a joke. They want you to stack up all of your items on the side and pay for your bag, then show your receipt, then you get a bag to put all of your items in. It's ridiculous. We have to pay for bags in the first place, as it's clearly put in the price. Seems like a scam to get us to buy their reusable bags. read more

Had a drive up order, an item was missing I tried calling the stores number over 10 times over a 1 hr span 12:30 pm - 1:30 and never got an answer I tried every single department (pregnant due any day and should not be walking due to my drs orders but I needed water and I got charged for them ) finally after calling the HR department someone redirected me to the drive up order team leader -Amy- she was able to help but asked me to call back when I'm outside and again no answer I had to physically flag a worker down when I saw one walk by, their customer service team needs to answer their phones how is it possible that no department is available to answer the phone ? read more

One of my favorite Target stores. As of Oct 27, 2024 they have lots of Christmas stuff out. I noticed a lot of people were Christmas shopping today. I love their selections in every category. My advice is if you see it, buy it because it probably won't be there next time. I noticed the clothing areas looking a bit messy. There are barely any employees walking around the store. Checkout is limited to a couple aisles even if it's super busy. As for pricing, it is fairly reasonable. The person who is supposed to be bringing carts in is not doing their job. Carts are literally all over the parking lot and even taking up multiple parking spaces. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This restroom was an absolute disaster & every visit to the bathroom gets even more gross. Upon walking in, I was greeted with trash everywhere - crumpled paper towels and toilet paper littered the floor & empty drinks from other establishments left on the hand dryer. It looked like no one had cleaned this place in weeks, maybe months. The toilet paper holder was empty, and the toilet itself was disgusting. Not only was the hygiene unacceptable, but there was also an unpleasant odor hanging in the air that made me want to run out immediately. It's clear that management has completely neglected basic upkeep here. For a public restroom, this level of filth is inexcusable. I will definitely avoid this place in the future and advise others to do the same. read more

A couple of birthday cards, and some gift cards. I grabbed a red t-shirt, some Reese's candy bars, king size twix, some toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream, razors and razor refills for Gillette. Really a bunch of random needed things. This is why I love Target. They have everything from snacks to electronics. And more. We got all the goodies we wanted and needed. One stop and done! This Target penalizes those who want to purchase more than 10 items. There are 12 total self checkout kiosks that only allow customers purchasing 10 items or less. Anyone who wants to buy more are restricted to the manned registers. They had three manned registers. I waited in one. The person in front of me had a ton of stuff. In the middle of checking her out, the cashier turns the light off and tells everyone waiting in her lane that she is now closed. I have three people waiting behind me. Now there are only two manned checkout lines. Both have more than three people in line. Two people who were behind me in the closed checkout decided it wasn't worth it and left. This place is sort of run like the DMV, poor service is provided as they think you don't have a choice. But we do have lots of other choices. read more

I'm not much of a Target fan anyway...way too much imported stuff...impossible to find anything American-made here. The lines...awful! Not only is there only 1-2 check stands open, but there are so few self check-out, that there's always a huge line to have to do what the employees should be doing. read more

Was checking out the Black Friday deals on TVs with my partner tonight only to become extremely turned off from the whole situation by the Rambo-esque loss prevention dude staring at us and talking into his walkie. Not sure if he expected me to stick a 65" flat screen into my back pocket but it was borderline hostile. By the time we checked out (skipped on the tv due to how uncomfortable it was but checked out with one other VERY bulky item) he was standing over self check-out, gripping his vest menacingly looking like he would love to pounce on somebody. When this guy inevitably assaults a paying patron I hope they sue Target for any injuries and humiliation this guy causes. I assure you nothing in this store is worth acting this way. It is downright bizarre and hostile. I'll be buying our TV at Best Buy. read more

This North Irvine Target just keeps getting worse every week. It used to be the best staffed, best run location, but not any more. The people restocking hard lines shelves don't care about their carts blocking the aisles, clothes in the women's sale department are scattered all over the floor, the electronics department management is entirely blind when its comes to customer service and the overall management of the store is abysmal. Oh, and now, there's the added benefit of shopping in a store full of SICK PEOPLE being treated in the Kaiser Clinic that they've set up next to the pharmacy. Nothing says "let's make everyone catch what they have" like opening the Target doors to be treated for the virus du jour. Crying sick babies, people with the death cough, what could go wrong? It's a Target and certainly meets the standard expectations and offerings of other Targets. I rarely find things I need out of stock, and it's really easy to pull up the Target app and navigate to a specific item or to see whether or not an item is available. It's relatively clean inside and the service is good, as I've asked for help from associates without much issue. The parking for this location is a bit challenging because the parking lot is large but the points of entry are limited. There's a weird "enter only" ramp portion in the back of the parking lot and it can quickly feel as though there are many cars jamming up waiting to turn, park, or drive through. Overall, the facility seems to be running in decent order, the inventory is well stocked, and the service from the associates are OK. I just feel semi-stressed attempting to park and crossing the parking lot with people blindly backing out or driving a tad close to pedestrians. read more

On the plus side, they gave a gift card for having to wait so long on the first visit. On the negative, I had to wait with an upset newborn. Could not get out to shop with my newborn, so drive up was the only option. read more

Target, get a security guard outside. Some teens are violent out here. such as the ones in the photo. I told them it was wrong for them to prevent other bikers from locking their bikes in the Bike area and they ganged up on me. When I chose to leave on my bike, they chased me on their E bikes and I was lucky. I saw a security guard and went to him for help. He saw me being chased and quickly intervened. you all don't want bikes in the store, but I also can't leave my bike out here when there is thugs like this walking around. We gotta fix this problem. Either let us bring our bikes in to keep them safe from these violent, horrible young men or, get a security guard out here. If something happens to my bike next time I come shopping, I will make sure to sue target for not fixing this problem in the first place. Either get a security guard out here or let us bring our bikes in. but my Bike and I will not be victims of these dangerous, violent young men because target refuses to take action. I wanted to give this location more than 3 stars but it might just be as consistent as what the reviews present. This Target is part of the large Market Place complex, and seems to be cloistered in the corner. There is plenty of parking and if you plan well enough, a bunch of other stores nearby so you can make a day of it! I ordered online in advance for pickup and pick up is easy to find since it is to the left of the carts right at the entrance. Another customer and I figured out that the left side is for online pick ups and the right side was for returns. Everything was marked accordingly. We waited a few minutes to be helped, I think a bell would be useful but I assume they have a camera back there they are monitoring. They scanned my barcode and brought my stuff, which was neatly packed. The worker said it was heavy, which I appreciated because it was! I look at target as a way to practice self control, since I often go in there w an intention to buy one thing but leave w a car full of things! There are really cool things up front especially if you are a yogi, they have mats for 5 bucks w cleaners for 3 bucks each. Also, they have a bunch of inventory in the home decor section (my fave) There was a lot of staff working, cleaning and organizing but they did not seem like they were in the best of moods and though they were blocking the whole aisle, they seemed to roll their eyes if you were to check something out. When I walked into this store, everyone was busily shopping and didn't seem affected by the lack of service or cleanliness that is all but disgusting.Every single stall in the bathroom had all types of paper trash in multiple places. There was no posted schedule of regular scheduled maintenance. When I asked one male employee why a particular product was a higher price than at another store, he said he did not know. I asked if he could ask a supervisor and he said there wasn't one for him to speak to. He offered no solutions and seemed zombie-like. He was able to tell another customer the location of a requested product, but stood there dumbfounded as how to help me. It's rare to even find an employee where something might be available in the store or where a particular item might be, but what is the use if employees are untrained and act lost themselves?!? read more

The self checkout girl today was awful. She put her hand up to shoo me away when i asked if she could remove the security tag from a shirt i was purchasing. The kind ladies next to me stood up for me and told her i needed help and that she just ignored me so the employee took it from me and then threw it down onto the register while rolling her eyes. I was trying to as nice as possible to this old lady at the register. Was asking for a TARGET price match and she has to realize I can price match even from amazon if I were ti show it to her. She was not comprehending and was asking me to go to "wallet" and for what? I could've easily price matched this but I did not wanted to line up all over again after another register because the lines were long. Someone pls tell that lady that I DO NOT need to sign up or show her anything to proof the price other than actually being on the website itself real time. I know screenshots are not acceptable but I was showering her my real time target website screen and she kept trying to argue with me. I'm so annoying and pissed. If she listened to me for one split second this comment wouldn't even be here. Please train your employees and tell them that we can price match without having to show them other stuff except for the price and real time website. This is by far the worst Target store that I have ever been to. The aisle are very dirty and unkempt. There is never an employee to help you also whenever you check out at the register there is always a long line because they always have one or two people working the register a few hours before they close. I ordered 9 12-packs of Coke products online. They were on sale when you buy 3. They sent me a text that my order was ready to pick up. About 2 hours later, my husband and I went to pick up. They hadn't shopped it yet. The same thing happened last time (which was my first time ordering online) I did this. They also cut one case from my order and said they were out.
