The entire store appears to be staffed exclusively by cashiers while everyone else -- including management -- seems to have vanished. Calling the store is pointless because apparently phones are just decorative now. Need a manager? So did everyone else. I walked in ready to spend money -- almost $300 worth, actually -- and walked out spending $0 because there was literally nobody available to help. That's not just bad customer service; that's management actively choosing to lose sales. At this point, customer service here isn't understaffed -- it's nonexistent. If customers can't get help, can't reach anyone by phone, and can't even find a manager, what exactly is management managing? Whatever strategy is happening here clearly isn't working, because customers are being left to wander the store until they give up and leave. read more

Very convenient to have a close location for Amazon returns. It's nice they provide a 20% coupon to the store with the Amazon receipt but I haven't found much to buy there lately, especially since the checkout line is way too long most of the time to make it worthwhile. read more

I would never buy any items at any Kohls at full price unless there's some kind of discount. They mark their items up so high it's ridiculous. I don't like this particular location because one of the staff messed up my return and my Kohls Cash went missing and nobody wants to help figure it out. I had to go back and forth with customer service because the cashier at this location forgot to process my Kohls Cash return. Complicated but lesson learned to double check the receipts and extra papers for Kohls Cash. Terrible experience. Download the app and sign up for an account. They will send coupons from 15-% to 40% on most brands. If you shop here often, sign up for Kohls Credit Card to get additional 7% cash back. They don't do automatic discount like Target. They only do it cash back form. October and November are the best months with so many discounts. Some items can be shipped to the store and pick up which is convenient. I always wait for a sale for items saved in my cart. Always compare with Amazon, Target, Walmart because Kohls marks their price way up in the sky!!!! Parking is plenty in the front. Came to this kohls today to do a quick pick up but ended up wandering around the store for a bit and wound up making an additional purchase. This is a pretty big store, with a second floor and babies r us section inside. Plenty of parking. It looked like they have a good selection of items and I had good interactions with the staff. The good - Lots of special deals on some items especially for Kohl's cardholders and if you use coupon books There is a little of everything, from clothing, to Sephora, to housewares, shoes Easy parking compared to malls Helpful cashiers The bad not much selection on some Medium and Large for men Sometimes slow check out This is located in a small mini-mall next to Sprouts and farther down is CVS pharmacy. I normally shop online on Amazon when possible, but when I buy for someone else, I like to go to a store to make sure the sizes, colors, and fabric feel right. Actually I hate shopping malls to avoid parking headaches and crazy crowds. I was looking for a relative that wears between a men's medium and large. And prefers wicking fabrics. The Under Armour Polo shirts in medium are slightly oversized, won't shrink, and fit the bill as far as letting sweat wick away. It was 20 per cent off retail, Not too much selection in mediums or larges, my constant complaint in men's apparel sections. There is always mostly extra extra large (2XL) and smalls. I know, I shopped too late for Christmas but they'll probably never sell those extra larges. Of course the line was long to pay but it allowed me to check my emails and messages. I didn't bring my Kohl's credit card. I was just going to pay by debit card, but the cashier reminded me that if I use my Kohl's credit card, I would get cash back (depending on the total purchase cost). She checked my ID, and found my Kohl's credit card number. I ended up with $10 cash back. Score! It was a good shopping trip. read more

Recently came to make some Christmas purchases during my lunch. As I was walking through the store I noticed a few packages that had return labels. No biggie since I'm sure they get returned items and place them back to be sold. But these packages legitimately had the return information of the customers. Full name, address and phone number of the person. I brought it up to a worker and was told that it was up to a manager to take the label off. I then asked if they could at least take it to the back since a persons full information was out in the open. They said no and just walked away. Absolutely crazy! read more

I dislike having to give 1-star reviews, because they usually indicate that someone rushed to punish a business after an emotional, negative recent encounter. Not the case here. I waited a couple of weeks so that I could be fair. This Kohls location earned the 1 star due to some pretty bad customer service. I walked in to make a routine return of a Kohls item: a brand new pair of Nike shoes. I waited in line at the main registers. I was greeted--rather, I was looked at--by an elderly employee named Celia. She didn't ask me to come forward or say "next" or "how can I help you?" or anything like that. It was just my turn, I guess. I told her that I'm making a straight up return with receipt. She looked at the shoes, jostles them in the box, and starts shaking her head, and says "Nooo, noooo these are used." I said, "actually, no they're not, I didn't touch them. They haven't even been tried on." She replied "these are used sir, we cannot take them back. We do not accept used items." I insist once more that she look again or ask someone else to assess the newness of the shoes. She shakes her head one last time and says "No, I'm sorry, and says "next please" to the person behind me. I figured that that she just wanted me gone, so I left. Not at any other Kohls store have I encountered pushback on returns, even items that were actually "used" (new items tag removed, tried on once, packaging absent). Not at any other retail location have I ever been so summarily dismissed, or treated this way. Celia does not belong in customer-facing retail at her very old age or in her condition. I have never bought anything at Kohl's until I bought a pair of Skechers shoes. The lights for the shoes stopped working within a day of wearing. They refused to take these defective shoes back because they're worn. The prices for these shoes also went down within 9 days. They refused to adjust the prices. What horrible policies this company has: selling defective item and refusing to honor price adjustment. By the looks of it, nobody is shopping at Kohl's at two locations that I've gone. This is the reason why. Provide better customer service and stand by what you sell will keep your customers. I will never shop at Kohl's again. What a terrible experience dealing with their people. I love coming here! I always have a lot of luck in the men's section for my son. They have the cutest shirts/tanks etc. Store is relatively clean as far as department stores go. Staff is friendly. I am disappointed in their plus size section though. The clothes aren't cute and are more tailored for older women. They have an upstairs with home goods, toys, and even a Babies R Us section for all of your baby needs. They also have a Sephora pop up shop inside downstairs. I recommend getting the Kohl's app to receive points and rewards with all of your purchases. You receive "Kohl's Bucks" vouchers for every set amount you spend in store. read more

Was there this morning at opening. I was in line with only one person ahead of me. I stood 6-7 feet away and the cashier (Edna) asked me what can I help you with I told her I'm making a purchase. She proceeds to say "the line is back there" pointing 4 feet behind me "please stand there". Mind you the customer ahead of me was signing her return receipt and was about to leave. I'm going to be honest. About the only time I go to Kohl's is when I have an Amazon return. At the same time, thanks to the coupon they give me, I almost always buy something. Not always, most probably 70-80% of the time. This last trip however, I didn't read the fine print (I mean, who does?) and bought something that was eligible for the coupon. I still bought it anyway as it was on sale and still a good deal, but I was a little disappointed. I do like this Kohl's because of how easy it is to get in and out of, at least for me. If it's super busy, you might have to turn right and do a U-turn to head the other way, but that's normal for most businesses. It's a 2-story Kohl's and the Amazon Return is upstairs, which is smart on behalf of Kohl's because they make you walk through a few areas to find it. It's hard not to stop check and check out some new merchandise. With the demise of Penney's and all the other clothing chains that have closed in the past 10-15ish years, Kohl's is about the only affordable brand left, as long as you have some sort of coupon which are easy to get. I do wish they'd stop asking me if I want to apply for a Kohl's card (I assume the associates get a bonus or there's a contest going for every application). read more

Returned a mattress pad that didn't fit my bed the rude judgmental cashier said it was used it wasn't I put it on my bed it didn't fit I put it right back in the package she said it was dirty it wasn't. Was in like for over 25 minutes tonight. It makes no sense to me why they have 2 cash registers open while having 20+ people in line. The manager who is a male with a bald head and glasses sat in the front laughing and socializing with his staff rather than hopping on a register to help get the line down. When I asked the cashier who was an older Latina lady if that was the manager she wouldn't answer me and told me that when she shops if there's a line that long she just leaves. Like whaaaaat? As many have mentioned, the line to checkout here can get pretty busy - especially around lunch time. It's unfortunate they they combine the checkout line with the return/refund line because it'll take at least 15 mins of standing in line just to return an item. I've been to other Kohl's locations where the checkout and return line are separate. The gift card inventory at this store does seem more limited than others. I was looking to buy an Amazon gift card, but they didn't have any in stock. The one at Bella Terra, on the other hand, had many. I visit this location frequently because it's close to home and I can bring all my Amazon return orders here! In addition to making the returns easy, I usually get a $5 Kohl's cash which is awesome. The Kohl's cash does expire a week after you make the return so I usually just spend it right then and there. I love browsing the toy section since it's easy to find toys for about 5 bucks. Making the coupon completely worth it. The check out line can get long but the store is pretty good with adding more cashiers when the line gets too long. So even when it looks long it tends to move rather quick. Shout out to the best employee at Kohl's (although they are all great) Melissa! She has assisted me multiple times and is just a pleasant person. You can tell she loves her job and helping people. I'll be back again soon! read more

This review is specifically for Mario at the Amazon return counter who saw us coming, but still walked away to do something leaving us waiting for a minute. Then when he finally came back we said we have three separate returns with three different QR codes, but as we grouped the second return he asked "Is this it?" And we thought he meant for the second return but turns out he meant in total and gave us attitude for it. He gave us grief but also we made clear there are three returns and he scanned one, so maybe ask clearer questions and learn to count. It was such a small interaction but for a simple Amazon return it was a bizarrely annoying and rude experience. read more

I come here primarily to do my Amazon returns and have always had a smooth process doing so. I wanted to take the time to make a review regarding the Kohl's sales I've been seeing recently. I've now received two cash coupons from Kohl's for my Amazon return. The first time was a $10 cash coupon to be used on ANYTHING with no minimum purchase required. I was able to snag a really good quality pair of Nike no-show socks for free! My boyfriend had also received the same coupon and he didn't find anything he wanted to purchase, so he let me use it, and I was able to get a really cute purse-- again, for free because it was basically 70% off! Insaneee! I also most recently purchased these slippers (photo attached) for $8 after receiving a $5 cash coupon. I'm not a fan of the white fluff, but these are SO warm that I feel invincible when I walk in them on these cold winter nights when I'm out for quick errands! read more

I was in there today to pick up an online order and no one was at customer service counter... then some older, Latin looking woman with glasses at the registers says "do you need help" after I tell her I'm picking up an online order she says in an irritated way "ok you have to go wait in line." (The long in store purchase line! Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a convenient online order!) I looked at her confused because I knew she was wrong, and gave me incorrect information. THEN Her coworker corrects her and tells her "no, online orders are retrieved and given right away." In front of all the customers, she rudely waves her dismissive hand at him as to say "yah whatever", knowing she was wrong. The kind and knowledgeable worker gets our order and wishes us a great day. Kohls retrain your workers on the proper way to handle customer service for online orders and reward your workers who are kind and say the correct things to the customers. He saved you a sale. I was about to cancel and have it refunded to me right there because of that lady's response. read more

Hey community! If your taking Amazon returns to this location beware. They are not upstairs anymore. I told the customer service employee they should put a sign at both entrances saying that Amazon returns are at customer service counters. Not upstairs! They make people walk all the at upstairs to be directed back downstairs. I've been there a few times and I had to walk back downstairs. It's just an inconvenience. So back to the service rep. I mentioned to put sign at the entrances and she pushes back saying we're not supposed to be taking returns after 6pm. We're doing it for your convenience. Well I've been there during the day on a Sunday and still it's the same routine. So I don't know why she would say that. They should put a sign then it's closed. Just bad management.
